The application of a learning model is one of the variables affecting physical education learning outcomes, both in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This study aimed to examine the effect of the tactical game model in improving learning outcomes. The pretest-posttest control group design with experimental method was used in this study. The participants of the study were 20 students who took part in the futsal extracurricular (10 male students and 10 female students). The instrument used in this study was Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) to measure futsal game performance. Based on data processing and analysis, the following results were found 1) both tactical and conventional learning models had an impact on improving futsal game performance, 2) the tactical game model had a higher and more significant effect than the conventional model on improving the learning outcomes, namely futsal game performance, proven by the results of the N-Gain percentage where the score of the tactical group was 63.5% while the score of the conventional group was 51.6%. Based on the result of the analysis, it implies that both models (tactical and conventional models) have an impact on increasing learning outcomes, specifically in futsal game performance, where the tactical game model has a higher impact and is more effective than the conventional model.

The research objective was to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on the student learning motivation. This study employed the classroom action research method. The research population were MI PUI Cigadog students, involving sixth-grade students (30 students) as samples. The sampling technique used was the total sampling. The instruments utilized were observations and questionnaires. The results of the first cycle of learning showed an achievement of 65.04%, as derived from data tabulation, falling into the category of satisfactory. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, through the evaluation and the successful refinement of the implementation of the discovery learning model, a significant improvement was observed. The percentage of learning motivation questionnaire results in the second cycle was 73.47%. The learning motivation outcomes fell into the "good" category, within the range of 70% to 79%. In conclusion, there was an evident enhancement in student learning outcomes in Physical Education from cycle to cycle, where both Cycle I and Cycle II showed an improvement. The discovery learning model can be employed by teachers as an alternative method to elevate the student motivation in learning Physical Education.

This study aimed to construct a profile related to the basic non-locomotor movement skills of elementary school students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey was conducted on 53 elementary school students aged 6–8 years of an elementary school in Bandung. The instrument of the study was an instrument for assessing non-locomotor movement skills developed by Gallahue related to stability skills including beamwalk (walking on a beam), one foot balance (standing on a beam with one leg), and dodging. The findings showed that the motor skill stages of lower elementary school students of elementary school in Bandung during the pandemic included three stages, namely the initial stage (6% for the beam walk test, 11% for the one foot balance test, and 15% for the dodging test), the elementary stage (64% for the beam walk test, 70% for one foot balance, and 60% for the dodging test), and the mature stage (30% for the beam walk test, 19% and 25% for the one foot balance and the dodging test, respectively).

This study aimed to analyze the basic badminton skills of elementary school students. The descriptive method was used in the study. This study involved 42 students (22 male students, 20 female students) of three elementary schools in Bandung City. Participants were selected using purposive sampling with the following inclusive criteria (1) aged 10-12 years and (2) following badminton extracurricular activities. The instrument used in this research was an instrument model for assessing badminton skills measuring two basic skills, namely high serve and clear lob skills. Obtained data were analyzed using descriptive statistics analysis and correlational test using SPSS software version 29.0. The results of the analysis showed that the student skills were divided into two categories, namely good and very good categories. Meanwhile, the correlational analysis showed that there was a correlation between high service and clear lob skills with a correlation coefficient of 0.62 and a p_value of 0.001. It indicates that the high service and clear lob basic skills have an impact on each other in game conditions and are interrelated in basic skills. Furthermore, based on the findings, the high service and clear lob basic skills in badminton of elementary school students taking part in badminton extracurricular were generally categorized as good and very good, since high service and clear lob skills are the skills that can be used as parameters of basic and primary skills to be mastered by students.

Sprinting requires one aspect of fitness, namely speed, which serves to support the body's ability to perform the same and repeated movements in a short time. This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness in improving the learning outcomes of 30-meter short-distance running using a play-based approach. The method used is action research, conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 35 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri Manukan Wetan IV Surabaya, consisting of 13 boys and 22 girls. The study utilized pre-test and post-test data collection techniques. Before the implementation of action research, the students had an average completion score of 36 for short-distance running. This score increased to 45.71 in cycle I. In cycle II, the initial student score of 58.29 improved to 90.29, with 4 students failing to complete the test. Therefore, it can be concluded that the play-based approach has proven effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of 30-meter short-distance running for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Manukan Wetan IV Surabaya for the 2022/2023 school year.

An orphanage is an unfamiliar place for the children who live in it. Playing activities could give the children the opportunity to express all their emotions naturally. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of traditional games on the personality, depression, social worthiness, and emotional isolation of children in an orphanage. The population of the study were 13 elementary school-age children in an orphanage in Bandung. Sampling technique used total sampling technique with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample of this study included 10 boys. The instrument used was the emotional isolation symptom test with UCLA Loneliness Version 3. This study used One Group Pre-test Post-test design. Analysis of research data employed quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that the traditional games, named Bentengan and Boy-boyan, had a significant effect on emotional isolation, but did not have a significant effect on child personality, social worthiness, and depression. Children who often play had a decreased level of emotional isolation symptoms because playing was carried out together creating an emotional bond in friendship so that the child felt accepted and did not feel lonely.

The purpose of this research was to develop an innovative device as a replacement for a guide runner for visually impaired runners. The method used was Research and Development (RD) method with the ADDIE model. The samples of this research were selected through purposive sampling. The sample consisted of visually impaired athletes participating in national sprinting events. The population of this research consisted of three individuals. Data collection techniques involved interviews with athletes and coaches and speed measurements before and after using the microcomputer-based device. The results of the implementation of this activity showed that, by using the microcomputer-based device, athletes could adapt more quickly compared to adapt with a guide runner. The running speed of athletes using the microcomputer-based device indicates faster times compared to running with a guide runner. As a result, the microcomputer-based device can assist visually impaired athletes in running independently without a guide runner.
