Abstract

The study was aimed at developing a performance assessment instrument model for defensive lob learning. The research method used was Research Development method for developing an assessment instrument referring to eight stages of activity, including choosing good test criteria, analyzing the sport to be tested, selecting and looking for theoretical concept literatures, selecting test items, establishing procedures, administering expert judgements, testing the instrument, and testing the estimated level of validity and reliability. The participants involved were fifth grade elementary school students aged 11-12 years. The development of instrument referred to a performance test instrument with an individual performance assessment model. The analysis consisted of the estimation of content validity (Lawshe's CVR), test-retest reliability, and inter-rater reliability (interclass coefficient correlation). The results of the analysis showed that the reliability and validity of the assessment instrument obtained a good criteria significantly (p_value 0.05). The results of reliability and validity testing conclude that the developed performance assessment instrument model can be used to measure defensive lob skills in Badminton learning for Elementary School students.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the batting skill performance on softball using an application of technology. The assessment results can help the coaching process by providing empirical data and become material for evaluation and recommendations for trainers and coaches in the following coaching process. The method used in this research was a descriptive analysis survey. The samples were 21 West Java female softball athletes who were doing training concentration. The measurement of the speed impact parameter was obtained (79.94 ± 7.73) to achieve the 25.06% target achievement. The results of the parameter test on the target obtained a p-value (0.0001) 0.05. This means that the percentage of the results on this parameter had not significantly met the target. The impact time parameter obtained an average percentage of the results of (83.06 ± 8.47). The percentage of the target was 16.94%. The Tukey statistical follow-up test results showed that the impact time parameter had not shown a significant achievement with a p-value (0.0001) 0.05. It concludes that the batting performance of West Java female softball athletes had not reached the stated target. Therefore, it is recommended that the training increase based on the portion and exercise items according to the predetermined parameters.

Abstract

This study aims to look at differences in motivation and physical intensity in junior high school students through tactical and technical learning models in invasion games. This study used an experimental method with a post-test control group design. Sample selection using cluster random sampling was chosen to determine the experimental group and the control group. Each class consists of 24 students. From each class 8 students were taken (4 men; 4 women) because of the limited availability of the Polar Global Positioning System (GPS) instrument. Student motivation is measured using a questionnaire. Data is processed using independent sample t-test. The results showed that there were differences in the motivation and intensity of student movements in the tactical and technical learning model groups. The intensity and motivation of students in the tactical learning model group is higher than the technical learning model. The implications of this study can be used as empirical data related to motivation and intensity of movement influenced by tactical learning models in invasion games. So that the achievement of physical fitness can be obtained by taking into account the intensity of student movement during the Physical Education learning objectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa-atlet klub atau sekolah bola basket dalam perspektif jenis kelamin dan posisi pemain. Metode deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan melibatkan 178 sampel yang tergabung dibeberapa klub atau sekolah bola basket yang ada di kota Bandung, Jakarta dan Bukittinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kepercayaan diri yang dikembangkan oleh Hidayat (2018) dengan menggunakan model skala Likert. Skala dikompilasi oleh tiga dimensi (efisiensi kognitif, latihan Teknik dan fisik, dan resiliensi), delapan indikator perilaku, dan dielaborasi kedalam 32 item pernyataan. Semua data yang terkumpul dari sampel penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji perbedaan rata-rata (mann whitney dan analisis varian satu faktor). Hasil analisis menunjukkan, tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa-atlet putera dan puteri tidak berbeda secara signifikan (p_value 0,07 0,05), dan juga berdasarkan posisi pemain, ditemukan tidak berbeda secara signifikan (p_value 0,67 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari perspektif jenis kelamin dan posisi pemain, siswa-atlet putera dan puteri permainan bola basket memiliki kepercayaan diri yang sama. Implikasi penting hasil penelitian ini, pembinaan dan pengembangan kepercayaan diri sebagai salah satu parameter psikologis baik dalam bentuk pendampingan maupun intervensi dapat diberikan kepada siswa-atlet permainan bola basket, tanpa harus mempertimbangan kategori jenis kelamin dan perbedaan posisi pemain.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah studi awal yang dirancang dalam bentuk kegiatan workshop tentang penyusunan dan pengembangan strategi self-talk motivasional dalam latihan bulutangkis. Penelitian ditujukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelatih dalam menyusun dan mengembangkan strategi self-talk untuk dapat diterapkan dalam proses latihan pada siswa-atlet bulutangkis pemula. Kegiatan workshop dilakukan terhadap 14 pelatih bulutangkis tingkat dasar yang berasal dari delapan klub/sekolah bulutangkis di Kota Bandung. Proses workshop dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan experiential learning dalam empat tahapan proses, yaitu tahap explorasi konsep, refleksi, pembentukan konsep, dan pengujian konsep. Hasil analisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif ditemukan pemahaman pelatih tentang materi workshop dari tes awal ke tes akhir meningkat 41,75% (42%) dari 38,01% menjadi 79,76%. Selain itu, dihasilkan juga produk workshop dalam bentuk 18 kiu self-talk motivasional yang tersebar dalam tiga dimensi dan delapan indikator, termasuk fungsi setiap kiu tersebut, dan juga penggunaanya dalam proses latihan. Hasil dan produk ini merupakan temuan awal yang harus ditindaklanjuti dengan pengujiannya di lapangan, baik dalam bentuk latihan praktek melatih maupun intervensi, sehingga ditemukan kiu-kiu self-talk motivasional yang secara empiris sudah teruji dan valid digunakan dalam proses latihan. Meskipun demikian, untuk kepentingan praktis, ke-18 kiu self-talk motivasional tersebut dapat digunakan dalam proses latihan, khususnya dalam penguasaan keterampilan teknik dasar bermain bulutangkis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini agar dapat mengetahui adanya hubungan antara kesehatan dan perkembangan pribadi remaja di sekolah menengah Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis metode survey korelasi,penelitian ini ingin mengetahui hubungan antara kesehatan dan perkembangan pribadi pada remaja. partisipan dalam penelitian ini saya ambil dari beberapa siswa di SMA di kota Bandung dengan jumlah responden 370 siswa. Rata-rata usia 16-17 tahun Responden pria sebanyak 174 siswa (47%) dan wanita sebanyak 196 siswa (56%). instrumen yang di gunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket (kusioner) sebua pertanyaan mengambil data kesehatan dan perkembangan pribadi. hasil survei terdapat hubungan dan perkembangan pribadi menggunakan uji koefesien korelasi.

Abstract

Background: Sports values arise because of sports activities. These values have a positive impact on personal development. If physical education at school incorporates sports values, it becomes extremely significant. Research Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of sports values in physical education. Methods: This research employed a quantitative descriptive method and was conducted at a high school in Bandung City. The participants were all school students, totaling 425 students, consisting of 193 male and 232 female students aged 15–17 years. The students completed the questionnaire in approximately 15 minutes. The study used a questionnaire to measure physical education sports values, specifically the Youth Sport Values Questionnaire-2 (YSVQ-2). Data analysis was performed using the SPSS program. We conducted statistical analysis and additional testing to investigate differences in the obtained means. Findings/Results: The research findings highlight a substantial disparity in average scores among sports values, with moral values emerging as the highest. This underscores the pivotal role of physical education in fostering moral development, achieved through active participation in game scenarios and facilitated by appropriate teaching methodologies. However, the successful internalisation of sports values and the holistic development of students extend beyond the confines of the classroom, involving significant contributions from parents and the broader environment. These external factors play a crucial role in shaping students' personalities, both within and outside the school environment. Conclusion: Future research endeavours should focus on designing and implementing structured and systematic sports values programmes to further enhance our understanding and implementation of sports values in physical education. These programmes should provide students with tangible opportunities to objectively observe and engage with sports values, thereby fostering their integration into both educational settings and the wider community.

Abstract

This research is based on facts about the field of learning and the current state of physical education which still tends to use traditional approaches. The traditional learning process tends to make students bored and less enthusiastic about participating in the learning process. This research was conducted to determine the contribution of the tactical approach to students' playing skills. This research uses experimental methods to study it. This research design is pre-experimental, a design in which only one group or class is given pre- and post-tests. The student subjects who will be involved are high school students in the Bandung City area who take part in basketball extracurriculars. The results of the analysis prove that tactical approach learning in basketball learning activities has a significant effect on students' playing performance.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian iniuntuk mengethui ada tidaknya hubungan antara litrasi fisik dengan perkebangan personal pada remaja tingkat SMP dan SMA di Bandung Raya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa remaja tingkat SMP dan SMA di Bandung Raya dengan berjumlah 2 Sekolah Menengah Pertama dan 11 Sekolah Mengah Atas di Badung Raya. Pengambilan sampel random sampling sebanyak 370 siswa. Tehnik pengambilan data menggunakan metode Angket/kuesioner untuk semua variable. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang rendah antara Litrasi Fisik dan Perkembangan Personal Remaja tingkat SMP dan SMA di Bandung Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the basic locomotor movement skills of elementary school students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey was conducted on 154 high school elementary school students aged 8 to 10 years in the Indonesian University of Education environment, the data was observed with instruments developed by Locomotor Movement Skills developed by (Gallahue & Donnelly, 2007), Locomotor Movement Skills related to running (running), jumping forward (horizontal jumping), jumping from a height (jumping from a height) and jumping on one leg (jumping). The researcher concluded that the motor skills stage of high-class elementary school students in school laboratory elementary schools during the pandemic showed students who had early stage (early stage) movement skills, namely 5% for the running test, 15% for the horizontal jump test, 18% for jumping from height test and jump test by 19%. Then for the transition stage (basic stage) there are 55% for the running test, 51% for the horizontal jump test, 57% for the jump test from a height and a jump test of 53%. For students who are already in the mature stage, namely 40% for running, 34% for horizontal jumping, 25% for jumping from a height test and 28% for the hopping test.
