Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah  media pembelajaran berupa game multimedia interaktif untuk menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir simbolik tema binatang pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi Siulak Mukai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE. Metode pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner. Data diolah menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Subjek uji coba dari penelitian dilakukan pada para ahli dan validator. Penelitian diperlukan validasi dari tim ahli, yaitu 1 orang dosen ahli media dan 1 orang dosen ahli materi yang berasal dari dosen program studi PGPAUD FKIP Universitas Jambi dan 6 orang guru yang ada di TK Pertiwi Siulak Mukai. Berdasarkan hasil uji game multimedia interaktif dapat dilakukan melalui uji validitas. Hasil penelitian validasi materi mendapat persentase 87,5% (sangat baik) dan validasi media pada persentase 95,83% (sangat baik). Hasil uji terhadap respon guru diperoleh persentase 93,23% (sangat baik dan layak digunakan).

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of the IDEA (Issue, Discuss, Establish, and Apply) learning model on the ability to understand concepts in students of class VIII Islamic Pakis Junior High School statistics material. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experiment design method and a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students in grade VIII of SMP Islam Pakis in the 2023/2024 school year. The method used for sampling is saturated sampling method. The instrument used is a test, before the instrument is used in the learning process, the researcher must test its validity. The validity test in this study uses content validity. The data collection procedure used by researchers begins with a pretest, the implementation of learning or giving treatment, and ends with a posttest. The data analysis technique used in this study is parametric analysis using the independent sample t-test test. Before using the independent sample t-test test, researchers used 2 prerequisite tests, namely, normality and homogeneous tests. The results of the normality test and homogeneous test both show sig.>0.05, which means that the data obtained are normally distributed and from homogeneous samples, so data analysis can be carried out using the Independent sample t-test test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the pre-test and post-test data analysis from the control and experimental classes showed that there was an effect of learning using the IDEA model on concept understanding ability with Sig. = 0.00 (sig < 0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning interest on students' mathematics learning outcomes through self-regulation. The type of research used in this study is ex-post facto. The population in this study is all students of class X of SMAN 1 Tumpang. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The sample in this study is 71 students. There are 3 variables in this study, namely learning interest (exogenous variable), self-regulation, (intervening variable) and mathematics learning outcomes (endogenous variable). The instruments used for data collection are questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire instrument consists of a learning interest questionnaire and a self-regulation questionnaire. The test instrument is in the form of essay questions on students' mathematics learning results on row and row material. The scores of the learning interest questionnaire and self-regulation, which are ordinal data, were transformed into interval data using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI). Then a normality test was carried out as a condition for a parametric statistical test. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of this study show that learning interest has a positive and significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes both directly and indirectly through self-regulation.

Abstract

This research is based on students always thinking that mathematics is a subject that is difficult to understand, thus causing students to be lazy and not have the enthusiasm to learn mathematics and think about solving mathematics problems. This results in students doing the questions as they please and not thinking when working on math problems. This research aims to determine the influence of learning motivation on mathematical critical thinking skills through the self-efficacy of class VII students at SMP Islam Ma'arif 02 Malang City in the 2023/2024 academic year. Using a quantitative approach with the observational/expost facto method, this research involved 73 class VII students of SMP Islam Ma'arif 02 Malang City, consisting of classes VII-A, VII-B, VII-D. Sampling was carried out using the cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires and test questions. The results of the research show that there is a direct influence of learning motivation on self-efficacy of 0.458, a direct influence of learning motivation on mathematical critical thinking skills of 0.319, a direct influence of self-efficacy on mathematical critical thinking abilities of 0.293, and an indirect influence of X1 on Y2 through Y1, namely 0.293 ×0.458 = 0.134.

Abstract

The background of this study is the students' low critical Mathematical thinking skills at SMP Negeri 3 Selimbau. This pocketbook media can be combined with Realistic Mathematics Education, which is based on Dayak Mayan culture, as a learning resource. This research aims to determine the validity, practicality, effectiveness, and students' responses to the Dayak Mayan culture-based Mathematics pocketbook. This is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. Data collection techniques use validation sheets to measure validity, readability questionnaire sheets to measure the level of practicality, test questions to measure effectiveness, and response questionnaires to determine students' responses to the pocketbook that has been developed. The results of the research show that the level of validity of the pocketbook is in the very valid category with an average score of 90.72%, the level of practicality of the pocketbook is in the convenient category with an average score of 94.04%, the level of effectiveness of the pocketbook is in the very good category with an average score obtained by students of 98.51. Student responses to the pocketbook were very good, with questionnaire response results of 88.88%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan beban kognitif dan berpikir pseudo pada pemahaman definisi operasi perkalian calon guru matematika. Kesalahan pemahaman calon guru matematika dapat menyebabkan kesalahan konsep pada siswa yang kelak akan diajar. Kesalahan akan terus turun temurun sehingga mengakibatkan ketidak singkronan antara konsep perkalian terhadap kehidupan sehari-hari. Matematika memiliki peran yang terkoneksi antara matematika dengan matematika, matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, dan matematika dengan bidang ilmu lainnya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan kasus masalah 1 untuk memancing munculnya berpikir pseudo dan selanjutnya diberikan kasus masalah 2 untuk memancing munculnya beban kognitif dalam pemahaman definisi perkalian. Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen utama adalah peneliti itu sendiri dan instrument pendukung adalah kasus masalah, wawancara, observasi penelitian, dan dokumentasi. Analisis pengecekan keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi data dengan melibatkan data hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat pemberian kasus masalah 1 muncul berpikir pseudo benar dan pseudo salah. Selanjutnya diberikan kasus masalah 2 muncul beban kognitif intrinsic dan germane dalam pembahasan definisi perkalian. Kesimpulan yang dapat diperoleh dari penelitian ini bahwa berpikir pseudo salah terjadi karena kurang memahami kegunaan definisi perkalian dalam aplikasi dikehidupan sehari-hari. Pemberian kasus yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dapat memicu munculnya beban kognitif germane untuk memperbaiki berpikir pseudo yang dialami oleh calon guru matematika.

Abstract

History education is not only concerned with the aspect of the time dimension but there are other things that can be taken from the value of history. This research is descriptive qualitative research using a combination of literature study methods and historical methods. The combined research model of James Schreiber and Kimberly Asner-Self regarding literature review studies with Kuntowijoyo's model of historical research studies. The researcher used steps from historical studies and a literature review to make this research seen from a more contemporary angle. Data analysis uses the historical method by criticizing the sources that will be used in writing. The research instrument in this paper is the researcher who collects the main focus and collects sources. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the important role of history education that can help become the foundation of students' critical thinking skills at the primary school level in Indonesia. The results of this study explain that history education needs to be given to students at the primary school level. Primary school students can be said to have the ability to interpret, analyze, evaluate, infer, and explain an event, especially in simple history education. The development of critical thinking skills in history education can be done by improving the good narrative skills of history teachers by inviting students to dive into the past. Teachers can visit places that have high historical heritage value and provide factual explanations in the context of the present. History education can help elementary school students understand an event that is not only about time but also important as a foundation for students' critical thinking to recognize events as a whole and be able to understand situations and information related to the environment around students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dengan menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi TAI. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian kelas XI TKR A SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo. Rendahnya kemampuan numerasi siswa menjadikan latar belakang penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas XI TKR A SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pengamatan (observation), Tes Kemampuan Numerasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan soal tes berbentuk essay pada tiap siklus. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan numerasi siswa dan persentase ketuntasan siswa yaitu pada siklus I dan siklus II. Pada observasi siklus I persentase nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 63,125% dan dengan ketuntasan siswa mencapai 18,35%. Sedangkan pada siklus II persentase nilai rata-rata siswa yaitu 86,875% dan dengan ketuntasan siswa mencapai 81,25%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi Teams Assisted Individualization (TAI) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas XI TKR A SMK Negeri 8 Purworejo dengan ditandai meningkatnya hasil tes kemampuan numerasi.

Abstract

English is a demand in the 5.0 era, especially in education. Students use many English journals and references. However, the students' interest in English still needs to be improved. Students need to understand books in English. An English math glossary can help them understand math terms in English. The English Mathematical Glossary contains explanations of mathematical terms—development of a Mathematical English Glossary using an Android application. Android applications have recently developed rapidly because of their nature that can be used anywhere and anytime. This research is development research using the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model. The Mathematical English Glossary's development has undergone five stages: planning, analyzing, designing, implementing, and testing. The product developed is an Android-based Mathematical English Glossary. The study results show that the Android-based Mathematical English Glossary is valid and practical in content, language, and presentation and effectively increases student digital literacy. After the vocabulary size test was carried out, it was found that the Android-based Mathematical English Glossary could improve the vocabulary skills of mathematics education students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan aktivitas metakognitif siswa kelas VII di SMP Hasanudin Surabaya yang memiliki tipe kepribadian koleris dan phlegmatis dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 2 siswa berkepribadian koleris dan 2 siswa berkepribadian phlegmatis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, yang menghasilkan data dalam bentuk deskriptif, baik berupa kata-kata maupun kalimat. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes dan wawancara. Peneliti menerapkan dua jenis tes: tes kepribadian untuk mengidentifikasi tipe kepribadian siswa, serta tes pemecahan masalah untuk mengkaji metakognisi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal matematika. Wawancara dilakukan untuk memperkuat hasil tes guna meningkatkan validitas analisis. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif melalui proses reduksi, penyajian data, analisis lebih lanjut, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diverifikasi menggunakan triangulasi sumber, yakni membandingkan data dari tes dan wawancara dengan data dari soal serupa. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa siswa dengan tipe kepribadian koleris dan phlegmatis telah menunjukkan aktivitas metakognitif yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pemantauan, dan evaluasi dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Pada tahap perencanaan, siswa koleris lebih terperinci dibandingkan siswa phlegmatis, karena mampu menambahkan detail dari informasi yang diperoleh. Dalam tahap pemantauan, siswa koleris dapat menemukan solusi yang lebih singkat dan efisien, sementara siswa phlegmatis cenderung masih mengalami kesulitan. Pada tahap evaluasi, siswa koleris jarang melakukan pemeriksaan ulang karena sudah yakin dengan jawabannya, sedangkan siswa phlegmatis lebih teliti dengan melakukan pemeriksaan untuk memastikan ketepatan hasil.
