Abstract

During pregnancy, a mother experiences changes that occur both physically and psychologically and the changes that occur during pregnancy often become complaints for pregnant women, including swelling of the legs and feet and back pain. Treatment of back pain with compression massage therapy using wooden massage tools with the result that compression massage therapy is effective in treating back pain. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of applying compression massage using a wooden massage tool on back pain in third trimester pregnant women at the Selatbaru Community Health Center, Bengkalis Regency. The type of experiment used in this research is pre experiment with the research design used is one group pre test post test design. The population in this study was all pregnant women in the third trimester in September 2024, totaling 30 people, the sample size was 23 respondents and the sampling technique used a purposive sampling technique. This research instrument used SOP, while for measuring back pain this researcher used the Faced Pain Scale-Revise. The results of analysis using the paired t-test statistical test showed that the p-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. Compression massage using a wooden massage tool for back pain is very influential because of its role as a pain relief system.  The output of this research is to make wooden massage products/tools. The conclusion is that there is an effect of applying compression massage using a wooden massage tool on back pain in third trimester pregnant women. Suggestions for third trimester pregnant women who experience back pain to increase knowledge about back massage and how to massage the back. Abstract

Developments in the livestock sector in Indonesia have been very rapid. Several types of livestock have been cultivated well and optimally. The problem that arises is that the process of printing animal feed uses manual methods or human power which is less effective. A pellet printing machine is a tool for making fish food or pellets using machine power. Assembly is the process of arranging and combining component parts into a tool or machine with a certain function. This assembly work is known to start from an object that is ready to be installed, and is said to be complete or finished when it has been completely combined. Apart from that, assembly can also be defined as a combination of one part with another part or pair. Therefore, the aim of this final project report is to understand the process of assembling a fish pellet machine. Based on the fish pellet machine assembly process, it can be concluded that the fish pellet molding machine assembly process can be used and there are several problems with inconsistencies in assembling the fish pellet molding machine, such as broken meat grinder shafts, nuts and bolts that are not tight enough, the v-belt is not enough tight and so on. There are several discrepancies, but they do not reduce the performance of the fish pellet machine and the machine can work optimally.Keywords : Pellet making machine,fish feed,design

Abstract

Abstract Financial performance is a description of an achievement or result of a Employee performance is the work results achieved by employees in accordance with the responsibilities given to them. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture, work environment and human resource (HR) development on employee performance. This type of research is quantitative. This research was conducted at the National and Political Unity Agency (Kesbagpol) of West Sumatra province. The data analysis technique for this research is using SPSS. The sampling technique used in this research is probability sampling. The sample for this research was 35 employees. The results of this research state that organizational culture, work environment and human resource (HR) development have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Organizational Culture, Work Environment, Human Resources (HR) Development, Employee Performance

Abstract

Abstract: Communication skills are one of the essential soft skills that doctors must have in building effective relationships with patients. Attitude towards communication skills is influenced by various factors, one of which is the individual's personality type. This study aims to determine the relationship between personality type and attitude towards communication skills in Pattimura University Faculty of Medicine students. This study used a cross-sectional analytic design with a sample size of 399 students from semester 2, 4, 6, and 8 selected using total sampling technique. The instruments used included the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to identify personality types and the Indonesian version of the Communication Skills Attitudes Scale (CSAS) to measure attitudes towards communication skills. The results showed variations in the relationship between personality type and attitudes towards communication skills. Furthermore, the results of this study are expected to be a source of information and evaluation material in designing communication skills learning strategies that are more effective and in accordance with the characteristics of students, as well as contributing to the development of medical education. Abstract

Abstract: Based on preliminary studies conducted at the Pacar Keling Health Center from January to June 2023, 37 patients suffered from TB. The results of interviews with 5 respondents found that 3 people were compliant with treatment and 2 people were not compliant with treatment. The phenomenon obtained at the Pacar Keling Health Center is that there are still patients who are not compliant with TB treatment, including patients who drop out (incomplete treatment), repeat treatment, feel bored with long treatment. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the level of adherence to tuberculosis treatment. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The study was conducted in the working area of Pacar Keling Health Center. The study was conducted in August 2024. The study population was all patients registered at Pacar Keling Health Center as well as the research sample which amounted to 34 respondents. The sampling technique used total sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between motivation (p value: 0.004) and family support (p value: 0.000) to the level of compliance with tuberculosis treatment. It is recommended for the patient's family to always provide support and motivation to patients with tuberculosis in the treatment process and for the health center to provide counseling in the form of health promotion about TB disease that can be used by patients.Keywords: Adherence, Motivation, Tuberculosis

Abstract

Abstract: Termination of Employment (PHK) refers to the end of an employment relationship as regulated in Indonesian labor law. Dismissal may occur for various reasons, including company efficiency. This article analyzes Decision No. 1/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2022/PN Pdg using a normative juridical approach and qualitative analysis of secondary data. The dispute was first mediated by the Manpower Office but failed, leading to litigation in the Industrial Relations Court. The judges divided their considerations into exceptions, provisional claims, and the main case. They rejected the exception and the provisional claim, declaring the dismissal legally valid. The recognized period of employment was limited to six months due to the legal separation of two companies. Out of eight claims, three were granted, four rejected, and one set aside.Keywords: Termination of Employment; Industrial Relations Dispute.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an interactive learning media titled “Learning About the Introduction to the Solar System”, based on Android. The background of this research is that the learning process at the school still relies on conventional methods such as books, planetarium teaching aids, and blackboards, which are less effective in improving students' understanding. To address this issue, this study designs interactive learning multimedia to assist teachers in delivering lessons and to help enhance sixth-grade students’ understanding of the solar system material. The 3D interactive solar system learning media has been successfully designed using Unity 3D and Blender software. The result of this design process is an application in .apk format that can be installed on Android-based smartphones. This interactive multimedia is equipped with various features such as material introduction, evaluations/quizzes, and educational puzzle games that can be accessed directly by students through Android devices. With the presence of this learning media, it is expected that students will more easily understand solar system concepts visually and interactively, and that it will also assist teachers in delivering the material in a more engaging and effective way.Keywords: Interactive Multimedia, Solar System, Unity 3D, Android, Learning Media

Abstract

Measuring electrical energy is an important matter between PLN and its customers. For this reason, PLN uses kWh meters as a tool to measure energy usage for customers. However, the kWh meter used must not only be able to measure, but must also be accurate, precise and easy. Especially for large customers, where special attention is needed for the use of electrical energy. For this reason, PLN has implemented electronic meters that have been installed with the AMR system for large customers. This is intended so that historical electricity usage for large customers can be recorded and monitored properly. Apart from that, the AMR system is also useful as an early detection of abnormalities in electronic meters for large customers by analyzing the data obtained. Through this data, DLPD (List of Subscriptions Needing Attention) can be determined so that customers who experience problems with their electronic meters can be monitored. Abstract

Abstract: Tuberculosis (TB) is a direct infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Based on document searches, in 2023, Putri Ayu Health Center was one of the health centers with the highest incidence of TB and experienced an increase in cases compared to the previous year, reaching 95 cases. The purpose of the study was to determine the determinants of the incidence of pulmonary TB in productive age. The research design used in this study was Case Control. The research was conducted in the working area of the Putri Ayu Health Center. The research was conducted from May to July 2024. The study population was all cases of Tb in the Putri Ayu Health Center work area totaling 97 people. The research sample has a ratio of 1: 1 so that the sample amounted to 114 people. The sampling technique used in this study was Simple Random Sampling. Data analysis was done univariate and bivariate. The results showed a relationship between income (p value: 0.031) and contact history (p value: 0.024) to the incidence of TB. It is recommended that the community, especially those with low income and a history of TB contact, should receive more attention from health workers to ensure TB screening in communities with risk factors and with TB symptoms.Keywords: Income, Contact History, Tuberculosis.

Abstract

Abstract: Classes for pregnant women are one of the strategic programs in an effort to improve the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of pregnant women towards safe and healthy delivery. However, the level of participation of pregnant women in this class is still relatively low in various regions, especially in the Sebangar Health Center area. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that influence pregnant women's visits to pregnant women's classes in the Sebangar Health Center working area. This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Samples were taken by sample random sampling who were registered at the Sebangar Health Center from October to December 2023. Respondents of this study were 92 pregnant women taken by sample random sampling technique. Data were obtained through questionnaires. Data analysis with computerized univariate and bivariate with Chi-Square test (p≤0.05). The results showed 56.5% of pregnant women did not participate in maternity classes. The results of bivariate analysis showed there was a relationship between knowledge (p value = 0.000), mother's attitude (p value = 0.000), husband's participation (p value = 0.000) and the role of health workers (p value = 0.000), with the visit of pregnant women in attending maternity classes at Sebangar Health Center. Conclusion There is a relationship between knowledge, attitude, husband's participation and the role of health workers on the participation of mothers in maternity classes. Suggestions for health workers need to increase socialization to pregnant women about the importance of participating in maternity classes. Provide more interesting, innovative and adaptive material, and create a whatshapp group so that mothers get information about maternal health and the schedule of maternity classes. Advocate to the government, especially Sebangar Village, to facilitate classes for pregnant women.Keywords: Classes for pregnant women, knowledge, mother's attitude, husband's participation and role of health workers.
