Abstract

Mental disorders are conditions characterized by disturbances in psychological functioning, including thought processes, emotions, and willpower. Cases of mental disorders in Indonesia remain a concern for the government, with 282,654 people, or 0.67% of the population, experiencing schizophrenia. This study aimed to provide Psychiatric Nursing Care for Mrs. H with Schizophrenia through the Application of Reprimand Therapy in Controlling Auditory Hallucinations at RSJKO Engku Haji Daud in 2025. The research was conducted over four days, from March 15–18, 2025. The method used was a case study, carried out based on the stages of the nursing care process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The nursing diagnosis identified was Sensory Perception Disturbance: Auditory Hallucinations. The intervention provided was Reprimand Therapy with Implementation Strategy 1. After four days of implementation, the patient was able to control auditory hallucinations by using reprimand techniques. It is recommended that psychiatric patients experiencing auditory hallucinations apply Implementation Strategy 1 as part of Reprimand Therapy to help prevent and control auditory hallucinations in those with a medical diagnosis of schizophrenia. Keywords: Nursing Care, Schizophrenia, Hallucinations, Therapy Scolding

Abstract

One of the renewable energy sources with significant potential for further development is solar energy; however, its performance is highly influenced by surrounding environmental conditions. Several approaches can be implemented to optimize the electrical performance of solar panels, including determining the appropriate tilt angle and designing a surface cooling system. In this study, a 200 Wp solar panel was experimentally evaluated at tilt angles of 15°, 30°, and 45° and was equipped with a nozzle-based surface cooling system. The experimental results indicate that the 45° tilt angle produced the highest average output power of 209.775 W while the implementation of the surface cooling system improved the panel efficiency by approximately 13.06%, thereby enhancing the battery charging performance of a 12 V 45 Ah battery. Keywords: Solar panel, tilt angle, surface cooling system, output power, battery charging

Abstract

The accumulation of Polypropylene (PP) plastic waste has caused serious pollution that is difficult to mitigate using conventional methods. This study aimed to integrate the mechanical design of a pyrolysis system—specifically reinforcing the table frame and designing a secondary combustion cover—and to analyze how different combustion systems (open vs. closed) affect the characteristics of liquid fuel derived from 2 kg of polypropylene waste. Structural evaluation was conducted using SolidWorks simulations, while oil quality testing adhered to ASTM standards. Structural analysis results indicated that a 40 x 40 x 2 mm hollow steel frame could safely support a load of 103.04 kg (1,010.82 N) with a Factor of Safety (FOS) of 5.028. The redesigned 38 cm diameter combustion cover successfully minimized heat leakage, achieving an FOS of 1.268. Fuel testing revealed that the open combustion system yielded superior oil compared to the closed system, with Cetane Numbers of 31.5 versus 27.0, specific gravities of 780.9 kg/m³ versus 766.8 kg/m³, and kinematic viscosities of 1.465 mm²/s versus 0.975 mm²/s. Uniform heat circulation and airflow control proved crucial for breaking down carbon chains to produce stable liquid fuel. Keywords: pyrolysis, polypropylene, plastic waste, frame, combustion cover, SolidWorks Simulation, Factor of Safety

Abstract

The structural modification planning of the Nurul Huda Kanni Mosque Building in Pinrang Regency requires an integrated structural analysis to ensure safety and compliance with applicable design standards. This study aims to implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Tekla Structural Designer 2026, analyze structural responses, and evaluate the adequacy of reinforced concrete elements. The analysis comprises static analysis under gravity, wind, and equivalent static seismic loads, as well as dynamic analysis using Response Spectrum Analysis (RSA), referring to SNI 1727:2020, SNI 1726:2019, SNI 2847:2019, and SNI 2052:2024. The static analysis produced maximum second-order drifts of 3.1 mm in Dir1 and 3.7 mm in Dir2, a maximum wind-induced resultant deflection of 3.6 mm, a resultant drift of 1.7 mm, and a maximum long-term slab deflection of 22.5 mm. The RSA yielded maximum seismic storey drift ratios of 0.587 in Dir1 and 0.577 in Dir2, with a maximum check ratio of 0.365. Following redesign, no structural element was classified as Fail, and all capacity ratios remained below 1.00. The results demonstrate that BIM implementation through Tekla Structural Designer 2026 effectively integrates modeling, structural analysis, design, evaluation, and redesign, producing a structural configuration that satisfies strength, stability, and serviceability criteria under the adopted standards..Keywords: Building Information Modeling, Tekla Structural Designer 2026, static analysis, Response Spectrum Analysis, reinforced concrete

Abstract

Concrete is a construction material used so that alternative components are needed, in coastal areas. This study aims to determine the effect of Suppa Beach sand and Ujung Tape Beach sand as a substitute for fine aggregate with the addition of Modacon Concrete Additive on workability and compressive strength. The study used an experimental method with a design compressive strength of 25 MPa. Cylindrical test specimens 15 × 30 cm with normal variations and beach sand substitution of 50%, 75%, and 100%. Modacon was added 2% of the cement weight. Testing included slump tests and compressive strength at the age of 7 and 28 days. The slump results showed normal 82.50 mm, the highest in 100% Suppa Beach sand at 92.50 mm, and the lowest in 100% Ujung Tape Beach sand at 75.00 mm. At the age of 28 days, the normal compressive strength was 25.19 MPa, while the highest was in 50% Suppa Beach sand at 26.89 MPa. Both 75% and 100% substitutions reduced the compressive strength. A 50% substitution was the optimum variation, with Suppa Beach sand performing better. Keywords: Concrete, Beach Sand, Suppa Beach Sand, Ujung Tape Beach Sand, Compressive Strength

Abstract

Learning is a fundamental activity in the educational process that determines the success of achieving learning objectives, whether at school, in the family, or in society. This article aims to examine the concept of learning in an integrative manner from the perspectives of educational psychology and Islamic education, covering the definition of learning, the characteristics of behavioral change in learning, the factors that influence it, the principles of effective learning, and learning as a process of change in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. This study employs a library research method by analyzing primary and secondary sources, including books, SINTA-indexed journal articles, and relevant prior studies. The findings show that, psychologically, learning is understood as a relatively permanent process of behavioral change resulting from experience and practice, while in the Islamic perspective, learning is regarded as an obligation and an act of worship oriented toward character formation and closeness to Allah Swt. Both perspectives are complementary: educational psychology explains the mechanisms and factors that influence the learning process empirically, while Islamic education provides the value foundation and ultimate purpose of the learning activity itself. The integration of these two perspectives is essential as a basis for designing learning that is oriented not only toward cognitive achievement but also toward the formation of attitudes and skills of worship value. Keywords: learning; educational psychology; Islamic education; behavioral change; Bloom's taxonomy
