Abstract

Branding is introducing an image of both services and physical products, the process taken must have a strategy and preparation of measurable time targets. There are many ways to introduce a product, which is the current trend of the 4.0 era where most transactions and information are traded in the IoT-based world. Local tourism has now developed, by utilizing the potential of the surrounding nature and then being developed as the basis for the products offered, improvements are made in various sectors to support the display to boost publications, of course with a communication angle. The need for researchers to take steps to dissect the flow in building a publication concept in the form of a realistic road map with applied strategies and analysis combined with good publication management is the core of the research carried out. The design thinking method is applied to dissect what strategic steps will be used in determining the core of the publication with impact factors. Local tourism branding and publication strategies are influenced by engagement from the psychological model of one touch flayer of social media users related to the happynest side factor that affects the pattern of attractive content with a high response rate and saddnes side factor which is empathetic with a low response rate.

Abstract

Art creation: Exploration of Plastic Waste in Fine Art is an experiment in utilizing plastic waste around the author into an aesthetic 2-dimensional work of art as an effort to reduce waste on earth, and at the same time enriching the treasures of art in Indonesia, especially and the world in general. Plastic waste can unknowingly threaten the survival of the human environment. Plastic cannot be destroyed through natural processes and lasts a very long time in nature. It takes 500-1000 years for plastic to degrade, but it will still leave microplastic particles that are harmful to living things. Creating works of art is one of the efforts of the author as an artist to take care of reducing plastic waste. The concept of the work in this creation is a spooky facial expression that conveys a message to the audience that plastic waste is dangerous for the future of living things. To achieve the goal of creation, it is done by using the method of material experimentation and exploration of the form of the work of creation. The materials used are various kinds of plastic waste which are cleaned, sorted by color and then pressed using an electric iron on the prepared medium. Through this method, several works of spooky facial expressions were obtained. Abstrak               Penciptaan karya seni: Eksplorasi Limbah Plastik dalam Karya Seni Rupa adalah sebuah eksperimen dalam memanfaatkan limbah plastik yang ada di sekitar penulis menjadi sebuah karya seni 2 dimensi yang estetis sebagai upaya dalam mengurangi limbah sampah di bumi, dan sekaligus dapat memperkaya khasanah kesenirupaan di tanah air khususnya dan dunia umumnya. Limbah plastik tanpa disadari dapat mengancam kelangsungan lingkungan kehidupan manusia. Plastik tidak dapat hancur lewat proses alami dan bertahan sangat lama di alam. Dibutuhkan 500-1000 tahun bagi plastik agar tergradasi, tapi tetap saja akan menyisakan partikel mikroplastik yang berbahaya bagi makhluk hidup. Menciptakan karya seni adalah salah satu upaya penulis sebagai perupa untuk ikut peduli mengurangi limbah plastik. Konsep karya dalam penciptaan ini adalah ekspresi wajah seram yang membawa pesan kepada audiens bahwa limbah plastik berbahaya bagi masa depan makhluk hidup. Untuk mencapai tujuan penciptaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ekspremen bahan dan eksplorasi bentuk ciptaan karya. Bahan yang digunakan adalah berbagai macam limbah plastik yang dibersihkan, dipilah warnanya kemudian dipress menggunakan setrika listrik pada medium yang telah disiapkan. Melalui metode ini kemudian didapatkan beberapa karya ekspresi wajah seram.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify how Cimahi batik is a form of cultural identity. So that the younger generation, especially the people of Cimahi City, can know and appreciate the form of cultural heritage in the form of one of the city's identities. The research method used is a qualitative method by analyzing the data found. This study uses a literature/library study approach in which the data comes from various literatures, both in print and electronic media related to cultural identity in the form of urban batik in the view of anthropology. This is motivated by the swift currents of globalization which can cause cultural shifts. Even the cultural identity of an area can be lost if it is not preserved. So this research is expected to increase the sense of respect and pride in the existing cultural identity.

Abstract

Playing is something that is very popular with children because playing is an activity that can build motor nerves and children's growth and development. Design of the puzzle game designed is a research based on a quantitative approach due to the transition from a pandemic to an endemic period after the decline in the spread of the covid-19 virus. This puzzle game is designed not only to provide games for elementary school children but also to increase the intelligence of thinking for these children. The design of this puzzle game uses quantitative data collection and 5W 1H analysis methods. The results of this game design can later be downloaded via the link provided.

Abstract

TThe purpose of this research and art creation is to create and present artworks with “Toya Campuhan: Water and Human Civilization” as the source of inspiration. World civilization, especially in ancient Bali, has emerged and developed around water as its source of life. Water sources, such as river confluences, act as a pulse, supporting the joints that contribute significantly to various parts of physical and spiritual life. Due to this, water must be conserved, so that they always provide benefits for the journey of human life far into the future. However, the current condition of rivers in Bali is really worrying, as various pollutants pollute them. Slowly but surely, the water condition will worsen if we continue to let it be. This evokes my empathy, emotion, and hope about a healthy river confluence as a mission that I wanted to convey through the creation of this painting. This creation model becomes a cultural expression as a medium for increasing public appreciation to raise the spirit of ecological resilience over the problem of water pollution. This creation is based on research, where the method consists of two parts, namely the research method and the creation method. The research method uses an anthropological approach, especially related to ethnography. Meanwhile, the creation method passes through three stages: exploration, improvisation, and the embodiment of the work, which is preceded by a study of similar works of art and literature review.

Abstract

The creation of this final project is based on knowledge about changes in human relations with rivers, especially the Bengawan Solo river, whose impact can now be felt by living things that live around the Bengawan Solo River and its tributaries. The purpose of this Final Project is to create a silk screen work that takes inspiration from changes in human relations and the Bengawan Solo river, which indirectly explains the concept of creation, the process of creation, and the aesthetics of the shape of the created silk screen work. The creation of this Final Project provides more insight into the tools, materials, and techniques of working on work. The results obtained from the creation of this Final Project are silkscreen and the deepening of the concept of changing human relations and the Bengawan Solo river, which is expected to be useful for writers and other people who appreciate the works of this Final Project.

Abstract

The relief print technique is one of the 4 types of printmaking techniques (the categorization is based on the process of its creation, namely the relief print technique, intaglio, flat printing, and silkscreen printing). The character of the engraver in high printing techniques tends to be firm, masculine, rigid and difficult to achieve plasticity. This is because the matrix/cliché material used is usually hard. In addition, the tapping tool used is in the form of iron / steel metal with a blade formed arch, so that the resulting carved lines are wider and larger, and it is more difficult to make curved lines, small, thin (as thin as a pencil or pen scratch). However, in the printmaking work of M. Fadhlil Abdi was able to achieve a realistic form using the woodcut technique. Fadhlil is a painting artist from Palembang who is active in art and exhibits both at home and abroad. Fadhlil's paintings are more of a realistic portrait. The purpose of this study is to examine the electrical technique of the works of printmaking of M. Fadhlil Abdi. How Fadhlil applies realistic drawing is usually applied by drawing/painting directly on the canvas, but here using printmaking techniques that are relatively more difficult to be able to achieve characters with subtle light dark gradations. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative using the phenomenological theory approach.

Abstract

Relief print is a printmaking technique that is quite well known among the public. Relief print is considered static. This creation research aims to produce novelty by combining wood waste, references/matrixes in woodcut and Aja Dumeh's Javanese philosophy with artistic creation process methods: experimentation, reflection and creation of works. The creation of this matrix or reference is expected to be able to combine wood waste, reference/matrix in Relief print with Aja Dumeh's Javanese philosophy so that the resulting work is able to campaign about the importance of protecting the environment and also preserving culture, especially Javanese culture, so that it is expected to be able to compete in the international world. The results of this creation research have creations and innovations in the form of references/matrixes used in woodcut which come from Javanese philosophy conceptually and wood waste materially

Abstract

The author often hears complaints from the farmers about their declining agricultural yields and some even reached crop failure.  Factors that affect the decline in crop yields are various, such as plants that are attacked by planthoppers, changes in climate that occur  getting hotter, decreasing soil fertility. The purpose of this painting creation report is to describe the creation of the painting that has been created.  the foundation that  used in the creation of paintings using the opinion of Dick Hartoko  about art that refers to reality.  The statement then  created in a work of art with the visualization of a deformed shape stylized with decorative style.  The stage of creation refers to the opinion that  presented by L.H.  Chapman explains the stages of creating a work of art. First, find the initial idea.  Second, the refinement process,  development, and consolidation of these initial ideas.  Third, the stage of visualization into the media, namely how the artist  visualize into the medium.  The result of the creation of the final project  Includes, We're Friends  Not Opponent, Seeking Cover, Coexistence.
