Abstract

In this study, I undertake a comprehensive examination of developer and user activities as determinants in the variations of cryptocurrencies' market values. The metrics for developer activities are sourced from GitHub and include commits, open issues, closed issues, open pull requests, merged pull requests, and releases. For user activities, transaction on-chain metrics are employed, specifically active addresses, transactions, and wallet address. By utilizing these metrics, the study examines the relationship between these activities and both market capitalization and return in the context of cryptocurrencies. This study finds that these metrics explain the variation of the cryptocurrencies’ value in the market.

Abstract

The Community Social Care Management Program (PPKM) in Sengon Sari Village is an initiative launched to improve community welfare through various social interventions. This program aims to address fundamental problems such as lack of public facilities, health services, education, and community economic conditions. By involving donations from more affluent residents, PPKM focuses on providing assistance to underprivileged communities, including orphans, the elderly, and families in need of educational support. This study evaluates the effectiveness of PPKM by considering five main indicators: community understanding of the program, targeted assistance, timeliness of implementation, achievement of program objectives, and real changes in community life. Data were collected through interviews with the Village Head, PPKM Chair, and village community, and analyzed using NVivo 12 Plus software to identify key themes and patterns in the data. The results showed that although PPKM provided significant benefits in increasing access to education and improving public facilities, there were challenges that needed to be addressed. The main challenges included a lack of community understanding of the program, resistance to change, limited funds, and uneven participation. To address these issues, strategies such as increased socialization, use of local media, and transparency in fund management were implemented. This study recommends expanding socialization methods and increasing community participation to improve program effectiveness. In conclusion, PPKM in Sengon Sari Village has shown great potential in improving community welfare, but the success of this program depends on better understanding, active participation, and effective management. The results of this study are expected to provide a clear picture of PPKM implementation and offer recommendations for future improvements.

Abstract

Local government, through the Manpower Office, has implemented LTSA to enhance service efficiency for Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI). However, the implementation still faces challenges such as procedures that are not well-integrated between agencies, limited human resources, and technical issues in the SISNAKER service system. Furthermore, the prevalence of illegal departures of PMI underscores the need for public education on correct procedures and available protections. This research aims to provide an overview of the On The Spot One Get Service (LTSA) implementation at the Gianyar District Manpower Office. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with an inductive approach. The sample selection technique employs purposive sampling. Informants include the Head of the Gianyar District Manpower Office, the Secretary, the Head of the Manpower Placement and Job Opportunity Expansion Division, and the community. The results indicate that LTSA is currently limited to labor services and has not been integrated with other services such as population services, police services, immigration services, and health services. Budget constraints and infrastructure conditions are contributing factors. The Head of the Gianyar District Manpower Office plays a strategic role in LTSA implementation, overseeing service procedures aligned with the office's vision, mission, and goals. The office is focused on enhancing internal capacity through improving staff competencies and proposing budgets for integrating LTSA services and upgrading technical infrastructure.
