Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of Quality of Work Life and Presence of Career Calling on teachers' intrinsic work motivation in private secondary schools X and Y. Quality of Work Life refers to working conditions that include aspects of work-life balance, social support, recognition of contributions, and a supportive work environment, while Presence of Career Calling reflects the extent to which teachers perceive their work as a calling that has deep purpose and meaning. This research is expected to provide valuable insights for school management in developing strategies to increase teachers' intrinsic motivation, so as to contribute to improving the quality of education in both schools. This study aims to determine the effect of Quality of Work Life and Career Vocation on teachers' intrinsic work motivation in two private secondary schools. Using quantitative methods and total population study techniques, this study obtained the participation of 87 teachers as research samples. Data collection was conducted through an online survey using a validated questionnaire. The results of this study showed a significant effect of Presence of Career Calling on intrinsic work motivation, while Quality of Work Life did not have a significant effect on intrinsic work motivation. This finding is consistent with previous research regarding calling variables increasing intrinsic motivation but differs in the case of Quality of Work Life which shows no effect.

Abstract

SR disclosure is a type of business action that entails notifying all stakeholders involved about an entity's performance in order to encourage sustainable growth. This paper examines how SR disclosure in the bank sectorlisted on thepIndonesiaxStock Exchange (IDX) between 2019 and 2021 is impacted by business size, foreign ownership, and independent boards of commissioners. Several disclosure results within the same sub-sector indicate that banks have not taken part in CSR efforts. Foreign ownership, foreign scale, and the use of an independent board of commissioners are all utilised as criteria to encourage the publishing of sustainability reports. In this study, 30 samples from the BEI listed bank sub sector from 2019 to 2021 were used. This studywuses panelpdata with cross-sectional and time-series data. Sustainability reports and annual reports were used to gather the data for this study, which was then processed and evaluated using statistical tools like Eviews 12. The research reveals that the only factors that affect SR disclosure are firm size, independent board of commissioners, and foreign ownership.

Abstract

The swift and progressive technological progress in Indonesia has resulted in notable advancements, namely in the financial sector, with the rise of financial technology (fintech). The objective of this study is to examine how the user experience and trust in fintech services impact word-of-mouth recommendations, with user stickiness serving as a mediating element. The utilized research methodology is a quantitative approach. The researcher distributed a questionnaire to collect data, employing a Likert scale for measurement. The study's sample was selected from the community of digital wallet application users in Indonesia. The researcher managed to gather responses from 103 participants, and the data was analyzed using the SmartPLS application. The research findings suggest that Fintech User Experience does not exert a substantial influence on Fintech User Stickiness. Nevertheless, the impact of Fintech User Experience on Word of Mouth is substantial. User trust in fintech has an enormous effect on both user stickiness and word of mouth in the fintech industry. The characteristic of Fintech User Stickiness has a substantial influence on Word of Mouth. Fintech User Stickiness does not act as a mediating variable in the link between Fintech User Experience and Word of Mouth. In contrast, Fintech User Stickiness plays a crucial role in influencing the connection between Fintech User Trust and Word of Mouth.

Abstract

This research uses Abraham Maslow's (1954) humanistic theory to examine Tom's struggle for love in the movie "500 Days of Summer" from a personal psychology standpoint. The study looks into how Tom's emotional journey, interpersonal relationships, and romantic problems are portrayed in the film. The analysis looks at significant conversations, scenes, and psychological facets of Tom's character using a qualitative methodology. The findings show that Maslow's hierarchy of requirements, which places a strong emphasis on social connection and self-actualization, is in line with Tom's struggle for love. The impact of Tom's romantic struggles on day-to-day living is also covered in the study, eliciting thoughtful comments on interpersonal connections, perspectives on love, and emotional fortitude. All things considered, "500 Days of Summer" provides not just a sophisticated love tale but also a window into the protagonist's emotional and psychological development.

Abstract

Rupat Island is one of frontline islands in Riau Province. North Rupat district is one of islands that has a mangrove ecosystem covering 12,784 hectares. North Rupat’s geography, bordering and directly facing the Malacca Strait, makes it subject to abrasion, which frequently harm the mangrove environment that defends it. The objective of this study was to use a qualitative approach and SWOT analysis to examine the actions, opportunities, and difficulties faced by the outermost small island settlements in North Rupat District in mangrove conservation. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs). Purposive sampling was used to identify informants. The findings showed that five groups of outermost small island villages in North Rupat District conserve mangroves through the following actions: 1) raising awareness of the importance of mangroves, 2) conducting mangrove rehabilitation activities, 3) monitoring, and 4) developing ecotourism opportunities. Opportunities to assist the operation of the outermost small island community group movement in North Rupat included the potential for ecotourism in mangrove environments, which was able to increase the community’s economic level and have received BRGM support through nursery and planting programs. The obstacles faced included limited environmental knowledge and community participation, as well as the danger of abrasion disasters
