Abstract

ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus with diabetic ulcers can cause complications, namely susceptibility to infection, pulmonary tuberculosis, and infections of the feet. Chronic complications include diabetic feet with the risk of foot ulcers (diabetic ulcers) and resulting in amputation, these diabetic feet can develop into gangrene. This study aims to analyze the effect of wound healing on diabetic ulcer patients who are given ozone bagging therapy. The research design used a quasy-experimental design with pre-test and post-test with control group design. Population 30 respondents. The number of samples taken is 26 respondents. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with the Simple Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sheet. Statistical test using Man-Whitney test with (a=0.05). This research has been carried out Ethical clearance tested by the KEPK STIKes Ngudia Husada Madura. The results showed that based on the Man-Whitney statistical test with test results (p= 0.021) < (a = 0.05). So it can be concluded that there were differences in wound healing in diabetic ulcer patients in the control group (without ozone bagging therapy) and the treatment group (with ozone bagging therapy). It is suggested that this research can be used as a reference regarding wound healing in diabetic ulcer patients who are given ozone bagging therapy and can motivate patients with diabetes mellitus in controlling blood sugar levels, as well as serve as information about one way that can be done in controlling blood sugar levels daily. Abstract

Pregnancy is a physiological process, however, a normal pregnancy can develop into pathology. WHO estimates that 15% of pregnant women develop complications. Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication that can harm the mother and the baby. Gestational weight gain during pregnancy can result from overweight or pregnancy obesity, which is a risk factor of preeclampsia. The goal of this literature review is to determine the correlation between gestational weight gain and the risk of preeclampsia. This research methodology employed a Systematic Mapping Study, in which the article is selected based on the protocols and filters determined at the outset. The articles were investigated between 2016 and 2020 using the Google Scholar, PubMed, and DOAJ databases. The total population of 311 research articles and 7 sample articles describe the correlation between gestational weight gain and the risk of preeclampsia. 57% of 7 articles indicated that pregnant women had excessive weight gain, 71% of 7 articles indicated that women with preeclampsia have gestational weight gain and 43% of 7 articles indicated that there is a correlation between gestational weight gain and the risk of preeclampsia. Midwives are expected to improve the quality of antenatal care services to prevent preeclampsia by providing preeclampsia information and education, as well as screening for early detection.

Abstract

Stunting becomes a very serious problem because it is associated with a greater risk of pain and death, obesity, and future non-communicable diseases, short adults. Stunting is an intergenerational problem in the world. This study is a meta-analysis study and a systematic study. Researchers defined the feasibility criteria using the PICO model: the population of children is 6-59 months, intervention is non-exclusive breastfeeding, comparison is exclusive breastfeeding and outcome is stunting. The articles used were obtained from several electronic databases including PubMed, Science Direct and google Scholar. The articles used in this study are articles that have been published from 2018-2022. The process of searching for research data using the search words Exclusive breastfeeding AND Stunting AND 6-59 months AND Cross-Sectional AND Adjusted Odds Ratio Articles were collected using prisma diagrams and analyzed using the Review Manager 5.4 application. The results of the meta-analysis study in this study there are 3 articles consisting of the State of Ethiopia. Breastfeeding cannot exclusively increase the risk of stunting in children (aOR= 1.20; CI 95%= 0.49 to 2.91; I2= 89%) exclusive breastfeeding affects the incidence of stunting in children aged 6-59 months.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Premenstrual Syndrome was an increase in emotional tension and it was a factor that usually starts one week to a few days before the onset of menstruation and disappears after menstruation comes, although sometimes it continued until menstruation stops. Premenstrual Syndrome was influenced by several factors, including nutritional status. From this observation, it was found that there are still many women who experience Premenstrual Syndrome (60%). This study aims to analyse the relationship between the nutritional status of female16-18 years with the incidence of premenstrual syndrome in Sooko Village - Mojokerto. This study used observational analytical research methods. With a population of 50 and a sample of 40 respondents using simple random sampling, data obtained from young women who experienced and did not experience Premenstrual Syndrome were processed by frequency tabulation and then analysed by contingency coefficient test using SPSS. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 23 students (57.5%) had Premenstrual Syndrome with normal nutritional status, while 11 students with underweight nutritional status, of which 9 students (27.5%) had premenstrual syndrome. Then from the results of the Contingency Coefficient Test, it is known that there is a relationship between the nutritional status of female16-18 years old with the incidence of premenstrual syndrome with a value of sig = 0.000. So it can be concluded that students who have underweight nutritional status have the most premenstrual syndrome and will reduce or disappear by improving nutritional intake in a balanced manner. Meanwhile, those who have normal nutritional status also continue to experience Premenstrual Syndrome because their age 16-18 years old is included in the age category of high risk of developing Premenstrual Syndrome. From the results of the research above, it is expected to be able to develop conceptual insight in providing Health Education to young women so that they do not experience severe premenstrual syndrome. Abstract

Stroke is a major cause of long-term disability resulting in the inability to perform daily activities (ADL). Various daily activity assessment scales have been used for stroke patients including the Barthel Index. This study aims to determine the level of dependence of stroke patients based on the Barthel index score in daily living activities. This research is a descriptive study, where the research sample is stroke patients in the working area of the Kedundung Public Health Center, Mojokerto City, totaling 60 people using a consecutive sampling technique. Data collection using the Barthel index instrument to assess the ability of ADL. Data were analyzed using frequency distribution. The results showed that most of the respondents had mild dependence, namely 78.4% and 13.3% of respondents were independent in ADL abilities. The severity of the respondent's dependence on performing ADL ability also depends on the severity of stroke symptoms. Patients with mild stroke may also experience ADL dependence in daily life. Appropriate and effective evaluation of ADL in stroke patients can be used as a basis for decision-making in treatment, rehabilitation, and nursing actions.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease is a failure of kidney function to maintain metabolism, and balance of fluid and electrolytes due to the progressive destruction of kidney structure. Increased fluid volume must be limited. If there is excess can cause edema, tightness and decreased consciousness. Therefore, patient motivation is needed to control changes of Interdialytic Weight Gain (IDWG). The aim of this study is to prove the relationship of patient motivation with changes of IDWG in CKD patients. The design of this study was correlational analysis with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling type purposive sampling, 40 CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy at the RSUD Bangil were enrolled in this study. Data collection was using a questionnaire. Data analysis was using Spearman rho statistical test, which showed a significance value of 0,000 that was smaller than alpha (0.05), so it can be concluded that there was a significant relationship between patient motivation and IDWG changes of CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Strong motivation to undergo hemodialysis is important because hemodialysis has become a necessity for him, a treatment must be undertaken by patients with chronic kidney disease.
