Abstract

In this research paper, we have studied procedures applying for documentation and institutionalization of learning and good practices for policy advocacy replication scaling up and public awareness. It also consists issue regarding health consciousness toward chronic diseases about whom rural people are unaware of and don’t have understanding about the procedures of prevention.

Abstract

This study carried out has the aim of developing and testing Smart Flashcard learning media in the context of the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) curriculum for fifth-grade students at SDN Bandar 03 Batang. The background of this research is based on the need for a innovative approach in teaching to enhance students' learning outcomes more effectively. Things to home of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Smart Flashcard media in improving students' understanding of complex natural resource materials. The research method involves collaboration with subject matter experts and media specialists in the development process, as well as testing this media with small and large groups of students to obtain valid and reliable data. The findings of this study indicate a rapid improvement in students' learning outcomes, particularly in understanding previously challenging natural resource materials. This research concludes that is the applicatioan of the Smart Flashcard learning media is effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes in the IPAS curriculum. These findings provide a strong foundation for the development of innovative interactive learning media in the future to create a more engaging, interactive, and effective learning environment for students in the learning process.

Abstract

Non-formal education serves as a tool for training and developing human resources to enable individuals in need of education to acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and competitiveness they require. In addition to formal education, after-school learning is crucial for building future-ready people resources, which will be the cornerstone of Indonesia's development. The purpose of this study is to determine how Kumon raises student learning standards. In this qualitative case study that included income analysis, research informants included three student parents, two tutors, and one supervisor. The data for this study was gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this investigation show that the Kumon approach, when used independently and at suitable discount rates, enhances.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Digital Flipbook-Based Picture Storybook media as an effort to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Purwoyoso 04 in IPAS subjects. The type of research method used is Research and Development (RnD) with a research design referring to the Borg and Gall model which is applied in this study until the eighth research stage of the ten stages of implementation. Data collection was carried out through test techniques in the form of pretests and posttests and non-test techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires and documentation and using qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The subjects in this study were 28 fifth grade students as large group product trials with sampling techniques, namely saturated sampling techniques and 6 fifth grade students as small group product trials with purposive sampling techniques. The results of this study are 1) the development of a Digital Flipbook-Based Picture Story Book media design developed based on the needs of teachers and students in learning, 2) the feasibility of this media gets a percentage value of 95% from media experts with the criteria “very feasible” and a percentage value of 89% from material experts with the criteria “very feasible”, and 3) the effectiveness of this media shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes with an average pretest to posttest score of small group product trials of 35 (53 increased to 88) with an N-gain value of 0.7382 with “high” criteria and an increase in the average pretest to posttest score of large group product trials of 35 (55 increased to 90) with an N-gain value of 0.7948 with “high” criteria. The results obtained from the use of Digital Flipbook-Based Picture Storybook Media have a high effectiveness value on improving the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Purwoyoso 04 in IPAS subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Al-Bidayah method book in improving sharf learning for students of Madrasah Diniyah Darut Taqwa. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The sample of this study amounted to 20 fourth grade students of Madrasah Diniyah Darut Taqwa in Pasuruan. The results showed that the Al-Bidayah method book was effective in increasing the memorization of sharaf, with an increase in the average post-test score by 18.15 points compared to the pre-test score. This study successfully proved that the use of learning theory from the Al-Bidayah method book is effective in improving students' understanding of sharf science, with consistent and statistically significant results.

Abstract

Limitations in providing innovative learning media and in accordance with advances in science and technology provide limitations for students in understanding the material, lack of desire to learn, and low learning outcomes. The purpose of the research is to develop Virtual Reality learning media based on the Artsteps application that can be used to teach students the material of the supporting elements of dance in grade V Elementary School. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study collected data through test and non-test techniques, the instruments used included questionnaires, interview sheets, expert validation sheets, and pre-test and post-test questions. Data analysis was done through normality test, T-test and N-gain. The results developed in the media in the form of music contained in each dance painting. Material expert validation shows an average score of 97% with "very feasible" criteria, while media experts get a percentage value of 93% with "very feasible" criteria. The effectiveness of using Virtual Reality learning media based on the Artsteps application shows 0.001 for the small-scale T-test and 0.000 for the large-scale T-test, both of which are included in the "High" criteria, indicating a change in behavior and for the N-gain test the average value for the small-scale test is 0.8918 and the average value for the large-scale trial is 0.8612, both of which are included in the "High" criteria. These results indicate that the Virtual Reality learning media based on the Artsteps application is very feasible to use.

Abstract

Problems in learning IPAS in primary schools often arise, especially in the use of monotonous teaching methods and media that do not support active participation of students so that they can cause misconceptions in students. These problems need to be overcome by using the right learning model and media. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Pictorial Riddle learning model with Qreatif application on students' concept understanding and learning activities. The type of research used is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental design of the Non-equivalent Control Group Design type. The study population was 51 third grade students of SDN Wonosari 01. The sample was obtained through saturated sampling technique. The experimental class used Pictorial Riddle model and Qreatif media, while the control class used conventional model and Canva PPT. Data were collected through test and non-test techniques. Data analysis techniques included normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test (t-test), and N-gain test. The t-test results showed a significant difference in concept understanding between the experimental and control classes with a 2-tailed sig value of less than 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05) and a t-count value of 7.340 > t-table 2.009. The number of students who completed the KKM in the experimental class was greater than the control class (88%> 46%) this indicates a difference in understanding the concepts of the control and experimental classes. The mean N-Gain value of the experimental class is higher than the control class (65.60% > 42.05%). Analysis of student activeness scores showed that the experimental class was higher than the control class (observation: 84% > 66%; questionnaire: 81% > 66%). In conclusion, the Pictorial Riddle learning model with Qreatif application is effective in improving students' concept understanding and learning activities.

Abstract

The research aims to develop media design, feasibility and effectiveness of smart booklet learning media to improve learning outcomes for class V students at SD Negeri 01 Sampiran. This research uses the Borg and Gall Development model. The research population was 45 people, consisting of 9 class V students as small-scale test subjects and 36 class V students at SD Negeri 01 Sampiran. Data is collected through tests (pretest & posttest) and non-tests such as observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Validation by material experts reached 80%, while media experts reached 96%. The research results show that smart booklet learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes, as evidenced by an increase in the average score from 67 to 91, as well as an N-gain test value of 0.713. This shows a high increase in learning. Positive responses were also seen from the questionnaires distributed to teachers and students. In conclusion, the product in the form of smart booklet media is suitable and practical for use in science learning.

Abstract

Preliminary research obtained data that there were fifth grade elementary school students who had levels of critical thinking and reading literacy in the low category. These two abilities are very important for students' academic development, so they need to be improved. The aims of this research are: 1) improve critical thinking skills; 2) improve reading literacy skills; 3) know the value of increasing critical thinking skills, and; 4) know the value of increasing reading literacy skills. The research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method with the Stringer model. The research was carried out over two cycles through 3 stages, namely look, think, and act. The number of samples in cycles I and II was 26 children. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests and non-tests, while the instruments were in the form of questions and questionnaires. The research resulted in: 1) students' critical thinking skills and reading literacy increasing; 2) Critical thinking skills in cycle I had an average of 68 or in the medium category and the average in cycle II was 75 or in the high category; 3) Reading literacy skills in cycles I and II each have an average of 70 in the medium category and 78 in the high category; 4) students' critical thinking skills reach a minimum of 54% in the high category; 4) students' reading literacy skills reach a minimum of 65% in the high category. These data have reached indicators of research success, thus confirming that the discovery learning model with the CRT approach is able to improve critical thinking skills and reading literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a clear and appropriate direction for the implementation of moral faith learning through the contextual teaching and learning model so that it can increase students' learning motivation. The character of students in the contemporary era demands learning innovations that accommodate their needs so that they can survive in the era of globalization. This study uses a type of qualitative research with primary data through interviews with teachers of moral beliefs in MAN 1 Kendari. Data is collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques, then described, reduced, selected, and analyzed. The results of this study show that the innovation of learning moral beliefs in MAN 1 Kendari through the contextual teaching and learning model can activate students, provide learning through the process of acquiring and adding new insights that can encourage students to analyze every problem presented by the teacher so that they do not just memorize the material but reach the level of understanding and application in life on a daily basis. The learning of the contextual teaching and learning model in the subject of moral beliefs is organized through reflection journals, research projects, case studies, open-ended questions, and group discussions.
