Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a four-level critical thinking skills assessment that is valid and reliable. The assessment was developed based on four factors of critical thinking skills, namely explanation, analysis, conclusion and evaluation. This research is classified as development research (R&D). The research sample was 52 students in class XI of Nahdlatul Ulama High School, Tegal City. Data analysis methods include: expert validation, construct validity, and assessment reliability. Expert validation by two lecturers and two physics teachers, construct validity test with factor analysis consisting of: One-Sample K-S Test, KMO MSA test, correlation between variables (Anti-Image Correlation), communality, and Total Variance Explained. The results of the expert test analysis obtained an average questionnaire score of 78.8% with high validity criteria. The results of the One-Sample K-S Test for critical thinking skills assessment were 0.261, so it was concluded that the data was normally distributed. The results of the adequacy test via the KMO MSA value are 0.000, so factor analysis can be carried out. The results of the Total Variance Explained analysis in the scree plot diagram obtained 4 points where the eigenvalue was greater than 1.00, so that 4 factors were obtained which proved that the assessment had 4 component aspects of critical thinking skills as assessment factors. The reliability test of the assessment obtained a Cronbach's alpha coefficient value of 0.693, so it was found that the diagnostic assessment of critical thinking skills developed was reliable. The assessment developed is not only able to describe students' critical thinking skills, but is also able to provide an overview of how each aspect of critical thinking skills supports each other. The assessment developed is suitable for use as an instrument to measure critical thinking skills and the relationship of each aspect of students' critical thinking skills to kinematics material.

Abstract

One of the independent learning programs organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture is the Teaching Campus. The aim of this research is to implement various campus teaching programs for grade 7 so that students' interest in literacy and numeracy increases. Data collection in this research used qualitative descriptive methods using observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Ploso over a period of 4 months. The target of this research is grade 7 students. The results of the research show that the Teaching Campus program such as teaching assistance, the use of the words traffic and touch me as learning media, the application of watching educational films (NOKASI), and the existence of technological adaptation are able to improve students' learning abilities. interest in literacy and numeracy. However, there are still challenges in its implementation, especially in terms of classroom conditioning.Kata Kunci:Kampus Mengajar, Literasi, Numerasi

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach which aims to determine the description of students' mathematical problem solving abilities in flat shapes material based on Gender Class VIII MTs Ar-Rahman Kaju which is arranged based on indicators of problem solving abilities, namely indicators of understanding problems, planning solutions, resolving problems and examining return. The data obtained is the result of interviews with 2 male students and 2 female students. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and problem solving ability tests. The results in this study show that female students are better at solving mathematics problems than male students. It can be seen from this research that female students completed all four indicators of mathematical problem solving ability, while male students were only able to complete two of the indicators of mathematical problem solving ability.

Abstract

This type of quantitative research using a comparative causal method was carried out by comparing the perceptions of class teachers and PJOK teachers to determine the sedentary behavior of elementary school students spread across Turen District. Data was collected via an online questionnaire/questionnaire (google form) with 5 Likert answer scales and analyzed using a single mean versus criterion test (one sample t-test) and an independent group mean difference test (independent sample t-test). IBM SPSS Statistics 25 is used to make it easier to calculate analysis results. The findings of this research are (1) The physical activity of elementary school children according to the class teacher has not met the adequate criteria set, (2) The physical activity of elementary school children according to the PJOK teacher has not met the adequate criteria set, and (3) There is no significant difference in mean. between the class teacher's perception and the PJOK teacher's perception of the sedentary behavior of elementary school age children.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the learning process is in class using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model. TGT is a learning model that is carried out by learning and playing at the same time which actively involves students so that the learning process is effective and not boring. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The researchers carried out data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation studies. Researchers observed the students' learning process using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) learning model. Based on the results of the research at Medan Methodist Middle School 9, the learning process in class looked more enjoyable. TGT invites students to think critically and quickly, students are trained in speed and alertness in completing games in the TGT learning model because the teacher also gives a time limit for working on questions using the TGT learning model. Teachers and students are both active in implementing the TGT model in order to obtain maximum student learning outcomes.

Abstract

In essence, social studies learning innovation is an effort to continuously improve the quality of the educational process, to meet the development of society's demands for education. In this way, innovation in social studies learning will be effective, if indicated by the results of evaluation and research in the field of social studies learning. Learning can be done in joint study groups, which emphasizes group learning. So far, it has been felt that it has not been deliberately developed in the learning process, therefore it is a challenge and demand for learning innovation. If done, it will be able to overcome the weaknesses of learning that has been carried out in the field. And the social studies teacher adaptation process is carried out by applying the Pancasila student profile in learning and attending several trainings to improve teacher abilities. The obstacles to this transition lie in human resources, teacher ability, lack of access to learning, as well as differences in students' understanding, thoughts and ways of thinking in understanding the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. Developments in the 21st century influence the development of the world of education, education has a very important role and responsibility to be able to overcome and answer problems that arise.
