Abstract

Literacy is the language skills a person has in communicating, such as reading and writing, listening and speaking, carried out differently according to the purpose. The problem that is often faced related to literacy and numeracy is that students cannot read and cannot even recognize letters, due to frequent changes in unfinished curriculum. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach by searching for data directly, so as to obtain primary data. There are many obstacles encountered by students in mentoring, such as students working at home to help their parents, and students also playing with gadgets too often.

Abstract

This research aims to, (1) determine the process of internalizing civic disposition values through PPKn learning at SMA Negeri 30 Bone, (2) determine the inhibiting factors in internalizing civic disposition values through PPKn learning at SMA Negeri 30 Bone. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive research method. The data processed is the result of interviews with PPKn teachers and students at SMA Negeri 30 Bone. The data collection methods used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation, where the author directly sees the situation in the field. The results of the research show that: (1) The process of internalizing civic disposition values through PPKn learning at SMA Negeri 30 Bone is carried out through teaching and learning processes in class which are carried out directly or indirectly by PPKn teachers which are developed through teaching modules or RPPs which are used in accordance with applicable curriculum. To internalize the values of civic disposition through PPKn learning is also carried out using various methods, namely the habituation method, conversation method, exemplary method and reward and punishment method. (2) The inhibiting factors in internalizing civic disposition values through PPKn learning at State High School 30 Bone are the lack of enthusiasm of students in participating in the learning process, the influence of the family environment which has not been maximized in instilling civic disposition values, the influence of the environment around students such as student interactions. which is difficult to control and the influence of peers, and the negative impact of technological developments, such as the use of social media and digital entertainment or online content.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore and describe students' mathematical representation abilities based on their level of mathematical ability. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 25 students, 13 male students and 12 female students. Then 3 students with high, medium and low abilities were selected. The research results show that highly skilled subjects can re-present information or data from certain representations in the form of visual representations, can express mathematical equations and write down steps to solve mathematical problems in words. Subjects with moderate abilities only present information or data from certain representations in the form of visual representations and express mathematical equations. while low ability subjects can only solve problems involving mathematical expressions or equations. Basically, mathematical representation skills are very important and needed by students to understand the material provided and solve problems. If mathematical representation skills are lacking, it causes a lack of student understanding of the material provided so that students find it difficult to understand and work on the questions provided.

Abstract

Technological advances have caused numerous changes in every aspect of human life, including the languages used in communication. Indonesia is one of the countries with a multitude of languages, so in general, the Indonesian population communicates in more than one language. However, Indonesian serves as the national language that unites the nation amid the various regional and foreign languages that exist. The position of the Indonesian language should be prioritized over others because it is used as the national language and for communication in public spaces. However, over time, the existence of the Indonesian language has begun to erode. To preserve its existence, a campaign for the Indonesian language is necessary, and this can be achieved through the creation of educational stickers using Canva as a medium. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The production of stickers through Canva is expected to be one of the efforts to preserve the Indonesian language and its status as the national language for communication in public spaces.

Abstract

Mathematics learning achievement in elementary school (SD) tends to be lower than other subjects. This is because in mathematics learning activities teachers still use teacher-based learning and there is no innovation in mathematics learning. The choice of a teacher-centered learning model is one of the causes of the low motivation and achievement of students' mathematics learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the TPS (Think Pair Share) Cooperative Learning Model on Increasing Motivation and Mathematics Learning Outcomes for Class VI SDN Sombek with a total of 24 students. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The instruments used in this research are motivation questionnaires and test sheets. Questionnaires were used to collect motivational data and test sheets were used to collect learning outcomes. The data analysis technique uses quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that students' motivation and learning outcomes in mathematics subjects increased after learning using the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the factors influencing students' motivation to learn English as a foreign language (EFL) and their impact on academic performance. The study uses qualitative methods, including interviews and questionnaires, with a sample of grade 7 junior high school students in West Jakarta. The results show that intrinsic factors, such as interest in learning English and self-desire to achieve high academic achievement, are more motivating. However, extrinsic factors, such as teacher praise or parental expectations, can also influence intrinsic motivation. Thus, intrinsic factors have a more significant influence on students' motivation, while extrinsic factors also play a role. Understanding these factors can help build learning independence and improve students' academic performance.

Abstract

Research has been carried out entitled Digital Learning Media in Learning to Write Poetry for Middle School Students. This research aims to determine the influence of digital learning media on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 02 Woja. This type of research is quantitative research using the Quasi Experimental Design method, especially the non-equivalent control group design type. From the learning results obtained before treatment, both the experimental class and the control class showed the same abilities. Next, the posttest value data was tested. The results of the posttest analysis show that the average score for the experimental class is 51.21, while the average score for the control class is 41.70. Based on inferential statistical analysis of the posttest scores, it was found that the calculated t value (t_count) was 1.99 greater than the t table value (t-table) of 1.669. This shows that H0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and H1 (alternative hypothesis) is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze managerial competency policies in supporting ASN career development in Kotamobagu City. This is to meet the competency needs of the apparatus in order to realize local government bureaucratic reform through a competency development policy strategy at the Kotamobagu City Education and Training Staffing Agency. This research method uses qualitative data and is described descriptively in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Data collection techniques through direct observation and interviews with research subjects. The results showed that the level of education with indicators of structural training and leadership experience is dependent (has a strong relationship). This shows that the implementation of structural training (Pim 4 to Pim 1) and leadership experience (Echelon 4 - Echelon 1) has been carried out based on the classification of educational levels at the Kotamobagu City Education and Training Personnel Agency.

Abstract

The method used is descriptive qualitative which describes how a technique for guiding students with the method is applied and how the desired results can be achieved.The implementation of KSN Economic guidance and coaching through Kongsi Man will be carried out from 2018 to November 2021. Kongsi Man can set boundaries and determine the steps that need to be taken, the resources needed to achieve them, and achievements that show progress throughout the process. The advantage of the Kongsi Man strategy for students is that they are more confident, learn to build the will to compete positively, increase experience, improve self-quality, help assess one's strengths and weaknesses and become more diligent.
