Abstract

Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) (2021) reports that Indonesia is ranked 18th in Asia with COVID-19 cases. The number of COVID-19 cases as of May 5, 2021 in Indonesia is 1,686,373 confirmed cases, 1,541,149 patients recovered, and 46,137 people died. Most of the transmission of COVID-19 occurs due to negligence in the use of PPE. Baiturrahman Islamic Boarding School is located in Bojong Rancakole Village, Ciparay District, Bandung Regency, but when conducting an observation survey on February 5 in the Baiturrahman Islamic Boarding School environment there are still many who do not comply with wearing masks. The use of masks is part of a comprehensive series of prevention and control measures that can limit the spread of certain viral respiratory diseases, including COVID-19. Masks can be used either to protect a healthy person (worn to protect themselves when in contact with an infected person) or to control the source (worn by an infected person to prevent further transmission). Busur Creative Community is a community in the Baiturrahman Islamic boarding school engaged in acting and has been present at the Baiturrahman Islamic Boarding School since 2001. This community has made this role-playing specialization one of the "Islamic Da'wah Programs" in Baiturrahman Islamic Boarding School. This specialization was formed as a form to express the Islamic artistic spirit of the students and as a form of Islamic da'wah through the Performing Arts. The Busur Creative Community has a drawback, namely that it has not presented health education yet. With this, we want to assist the Busur Creative Community in making educational media regarding the use of masks in Islamic boarding schools. There was an increase in knowledge for the Busur Creative Community after providing assistance related to making educational videos, and there was an increase in knowledge and attitudes towards awareness of using masks for students of the Biaturrahman Islamic Boarding School after watching videos made by the Busur Creative Community . Abstract

Posyandu Remaja UPT Puskesmas Ibrahim Adjie is one of the realizations of the government program, where the implementation of activities takes place every Saturday and Sunday in the first week of each month. Technically, the implementation is integrated with various other activities such as posbindu, PPKS, youth organization meetings, or other youth activities. This activity has been running since 2018. The problem of partners raised in the Community Service Activity program is that the role of cadres in the implementation of adolescent posyandu is not optimal, as well as the many problems in adolescent reproductive health. The methods that have been carried out include; 1) conducting free health checks, giving Fe Tablets and reproductive health counseling, and 2) conducting training for adolescent posyandu cadres. The results of this service stated that a significance value (2tailled) of 0.000 <0.05 indicated a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. This shows a significant increase in knowledge in adolescent posyandu cadres after training on Islamic holistic reproductive health. The conclusion of this activity is very successful and is expected to have an impact on increasing the effectiveness and participation of adolescents in youth posyandu activities

Abstract

Bojonegoro Regency has a very high potential for developing laying hens. This is based on the consumption needs of purebred chicken eggs, most of which are imported from other cities, including from Blitar and Kediri. Efforts to increase egg production in Bojonegoro Regency need to be carried out by mobilizing farmer groups. Increasing the interest of novice breeders to raise laying hens and also increasing production capacity or population for breeders who are already engaged in laying hens require encouragement from the government, private sector, and academia. One of the causes of the low desire of farmers to raise laying hens is the fluctuation in the selling price of eggs and unproductive chickens, which are often not commensurate with operational costs, especially feed. It is necessary to optimize the income of laying chicken breeders so that the passion for raising livestock is needed to achieve purebred chicken egg production in Bojonegoro Regency which can meet the needs of the Regency. Post-harvest management of laying hens is a solution to increase competitiveness in the sale of laying hens. Products from laying hens can be eggs and discarded chickens. These two products can be managed through product processing to increase added value and managed in groups through layers of laying hens to achieve an integrated management of laying hens. Empowerment through this group of laying hens is expected to be able to boost the interest of farmers in laying hens so that egg production increases and the need for eggs in Bojonegoro Regency can be met independently.

Abstract

Micro and small businesses have an important role in the economic structure in Indonesia so that the products produced need to be increased in selling value and competitiveness. One method to increase it is halal certification. This is necessary to provide guarantees of product halalness to consumers amid the risks that threaten to change the status of halal to non-halal. To facilitate the halal certification process so as to encourage more micro and small businesses to obtain halal certificates, the Government facilitates the submission of halal certification based on the statements of business actors as stated in the Decree of the Head of the Halal Product Assurance Agency No. 33 of 2022. This community service aims at to carry out halal verification by the halal product process assistant (pph) who has been registered by the Halal Product Assurance Administration Agency (BPJPH). The verification process was carried out on 4 (four) micro and small business actors in the Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. Verification by the PPH assistant is carried out online through the ptsp.halal.go.id system. The verification stage by the PPH assistant is carried out in 3 (three) stages, namely the administrative verification stage, field verification and verification. The results of the verification activities in the 3 (three) stages indicate that micro and small business actors have met the requirements in applying for halal certification and obtained STTD (Document Receipt Letter).

Abstract

A correctional institution is a place to guide individuals who violate the law. Policies in correctional institutions include restrictions on the fulfillment of human rights, which all convicts experienced. This issue will almost certainly have an impact on his biological, social, and spiritual well-being. Health issues involving physical and psychological complaints are difficult to distinguish, making it difficult for nurses in correctional institutions to determine the appropriate treatment. Physical complaints that are experienced repeatedly without any improvement become a debate between physical and psychological issues. Due to time constraints and a limited number of assessors, nurses face difficulties in conducting assessments. Early detection is one of the initial assessment efforts to identify problems so that appropriate interventions can be chosen. Based on the problems listed above, an early detection assessment method using the 2-minute method can be used to help nurses quickly make a diagnosis and determine the best referral path

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the prevalence of HIV/AIDS is rising in all age groups. Members of KPA Bandung City who have HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) have psychological issues. PLWHA's main problems include feeling sad and angry with God, frequently crying, and believing they are dying (feeling depressed). The psychological consequences of HIV/AIDS can have an impact on the survival of HIV-positive adolescents. As a result, it is critical to recognize and treat these psychological symptoms, one of which is the use of emotion regulation strategies.People suffering from chronic illnesses, which are sometimes fatal, rely on their faith and religious practices to find support and acceptance for their suffering. As a result, more attention must be paid to the management of emotion regulation. Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) can help adolescents with HIV/AIDS improve their emotional regulation strategies and religious coping. Through bibliotherapy, the Youth Empowerment Program with HIV/AIDS aimed to improve the emotional regulation. This community service activity is conducted by assisting PLWHA youth through the use of bibliotherapy. Activities for up to 5 PLWHA will be carried out at the KPA office. Community service is performed by asking PLWHA to read a book on the topic of PLWHA once. Furthermore, bibliotherapy is given to PLWHA for one session by asking them to read a book with the theme of becoming successful HIV AID patients. People living with HIV are able to capture the meaning of every event that occurs in the reading during the stages after reading. There was a change in the regulation of PLHA's emotions after being given bibliotherapy, namely being positive.

Abstract

Shallots one of a leading vegetable commodity in Central Java. However, the shallot farming industry is frequently confronted with the issue of decreasing yields due to the presence of plant pests. Onion plant pests include the butterfly (Spodoptera exigua) and the leafminer fly (liriomyza). There are two approaches to dealing with this pest problem: pesticides/insecticides and light traps. In terms of organic farming methods, the use of light traps is more profitable. However, the operational costs are quite high because farmers must have a generator to generate electricity, diesel fuel to turn on the generator, oil to lubricate the engine, operators, or must connect to the PLN electricity network. So, we used a solar-powered pest trap lamp system with Li-ion batteries as the energy storage medium to solve this problem. In Srimulyo village, Gondang district, Sragen regency, community service activities such as installing pest trap lights to control pests on shallots were carried out. The onion farmer group association is the service activity's partner (Gapoktan). This activity was well received by shallot farmers because the presence of this light trap can reduce pest attacks.
