Abstract

The field study was used in this study to test the diamond cheating theory presented by Wolf and Hermanson as a means of detecting fraud in the use of the village budget in villages in Guntur Subdistrict, Demak Regency. The theoretical contribution of this research as information and consideration for related parties in managing the village budget. This theory results from the development of fraud triangle theory developed by Cressey's with the addition of the capability element. The village head and all his apparatus in the Guntur District as the population in this study. Each village 10 respondents were taken as the study sample. The results found that the pressure and opportunity variables did not significantly influence fraud detection. Variation rationalization and capability significantly influence the detection of fraud in the use of village funds in Guntur District. The limitation of this study is that the object of the research is different from previous studies, where the respondents are actors in the use of village budget funds in Guntur District

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh store atmosphere terhadap minat berkunjung ulang pada Break Time Kota Bima. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah asosiatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari : store atmosphere (X) dan minat berkunjung ulang (Y). Seluruh variabel diukur dengan menggunakan skala Likert. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 responden. Pengujian instrumen dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana dengan SPSS versi 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukan garis regresi sebagai berikut : Y= 7,312 + 0,239X+ e. Nilai R (Koefisien Korelasi) yang diperoleh sebesar 0,359 atau 35,9% dan nilai R Square (Koefisisen Determinasi) sebesar 0,129 atau 12,9%. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa store atmosphere berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian yang dibuktikan dengan nilai t hitung 3,725 > t tabel 1,985 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

This article aims to observe the Lubuk Layang SDN 08 School Lteration Movement Program. This type of research is a qualitative approach in the form of descriptive. The research location is SDN 08 Lubuk Layang. Research subjects are the principal, administration, and students. The interview instruments used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: (a) The implementation of the Literacy Movement program at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang has been carried out since one year ago until now, (b) interest in reading at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang is quite high, when the library is open, students run to the library to read, (c) the impact of the School Literacy Movement at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang is the increase in students' interest in reading. It can be seen from the increase in academic learning and the attitude of confidence to appear and tell stories in front of the class, and (d) the observations of students in class III and V namely, the holding of the School Literacy Movement, students are confident enough to read the results of their literacy and dare to appear in front of the class. Thus, the evaluation of the School Literacy Movement at SDN 08 Lubuk Layang needs to be upgraded to the development stage by involving various considerations and facilities

Abstract

This research aims to find out: 1) The influence of work motivation on the performance performance of Patra Hotel and Convention Semarang employees. 3) Effect of work environment on the performance of Patra Hotel and Convention Semarang employees. 4) The effect of work discipline on the performance of Patra Hotel and Convention Semarang employees. The population in this study were 150 employees of Patra Hotel and Semarang Convention. The sample of Patra Hotel and Convention Semarang employees 2) The influence of leadership on the of this study were 60 employees of Patra Hotel and Convention Semarang. The results found that: 1) Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance (β) 0.388 with a sig value of 0,000 <0.05. 2) Leadership has a significant effect on employee performance (β) 0,277 with sig value 0,001 <0,05 3.) Work environment has a significant effect on employee performance of (β) 0,256 with sig value 0,000> 0,05. 4) Work Discipline has a significant effect on employee performance of (β) 0.382 with sig 0.002 <0.05.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the effectiveness of picture story books on increasing reading interest in dyslexic children in Muhammadiyah Pauh IX Slb. This type of research is a qualitative approach in the form of descriptive. The research location is in Muhammadiyah Pauh IX. Research subjects were teacher and dyslexic children. The interview instruments used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that: (a) dyslexic children need to be taught the concept of space before children recognize letters. The concept of space itself is the initial foundation of dyslexic children to be able to recognize letters, (b) the effectiveness of picture books for dyslexic children is very helpful to foster reading interest in dyslexic children, (c) solutions to dyslexic children to picture story books very much support children not to be lazy reading (d) the observations found that children love to use picture story books. This is very influential on reading interest in dyslexic children. If this is applied, the child can recognize letters well. Thus, picture books need to be introduced to children with dislection to assist in letter recognition.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Diversity Management terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior karyawan di institusi pendidikan tinggi. Pentingnya kehadiran Diversity Management dalam memainkan peranan dalam perilaku karyawan di dalam organisasi, di mana organisasi yang menjadi obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah institusi pendidikan tinggi. Diversity Management (Manajemen Keberagaman) memainkan peranan yang cukup penting dalam perilaku karyawan di lingkungan kerja yang dalam konteks ini khususnya pada institusi pendidikan tinggi. Dengan demikian Diversity Management memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dalam perilaku karyawan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini bahwa pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini telah menunjukkan hubungan yang positif dan signifikan diantara variabel penelitian ini. Dampak yang positif dan signifikan dari Diversity Management yang berpengaruh pada Commitment Affective, Normative Commitment, Work Engagement dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior di institusi pendidikan tinggi notabenenya merupakan tempat bekerja para karyawan non tenaga kependidikan yang menjadi responden pada penelitian ini. Pada akhirnya Diversity Management memiliki dampak yang positif terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior karyawan di institusi pendidikan tinggi

Abstract

Performance is a very important factor for the company. This study aims to test and empirically prove the effect of female gender on the Board of Directors on the financial performance of studies in companies included in the Kompass 100 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2015. This research is a regrosi associative research. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The periodization of the study population was from 2014-2015. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method. The number of samples selected in this study were 83 companies. Data collection is done through documentation. The data analysis technique used is regression analysis. Testing is done through the help of the computer program Eviews version 9.0. Hypothesis testing is done through t test, F test, and determination test. The results showed that Gender had a significant effect on company performance. Tests prove that the research hypothesis is accepted, namely "the proportion of women on the board of directors has a positive relationship with financial performance in the 2014-2015 period".

Abstract

Work engagement affects several aspects of the company. Work engagement is the latest issue in managing human resources (HR). Work engagement is the latest issue in managing human resources (HR). Work engagement is defined as a positive and satisfying mental state related to work characterized by vigor, dedication, and absorption. One maximal work attitude in contributing as a predictor of institutional performance is engagement. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of job demands on work engagement through burnout as an intervening variable. The sample of this study was 100 respondents. Sampling using snowball sampling is a sampling technique that first starts with a small amount and then enlarges. Data analysis using multiple linear regression models, simple linear regression and sobel tests. The results of hypothesis testing job demands negatively affect the work engagement, burnout negatively affect the work engagement, job demand positive effect on burnout, job demand affect the work engagement through burnout

Abstract

The population in this study is the entire sales team at the Kadokayuku company, amounting to 400 people. Then the sample is drawn using the Slovin formula into 80 samples. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is an influence of distribution channels on sales volume. This can be seen from the tcount of 3.296> t table 1.991 or p-value = 0.001 <α 0.05. (2) there is no effect of price on sales volume. This can be seen from the tcount of 0.359 <t table 1.991 or p-value = 0.721> 0.05. (3) there is the effect of promotion on sales volume. This can be seen from the tcount of 2.283> t table 1.991 or p-value = 0.025 <0.05. (4) there is an influence of distribution channels, prices, and promotions that together have a positive and significant effect on sales volume. This can be seen from the value of fcount 13.909> ft. 2.72 and p-value <α or 0,000 <0.05. Distribution, price and promotion channels need to be considered, because based on the results of the study, the three variables together have a considerable influence on the sales volume of the Kadokayuku company by 32.9%. Based on the magnitude of the influence it is expected that Kadokayuku companies can increase the number of distribution channels, carry out more effective and innovative promotions and in determining the selling price of products, the company does not only pay attention to profits and cover production costs, but must also look at the selling prices of competing products in order to compete with prices selling other companies so that they can increase the sales volume of the Kadokayuku company.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif untuk mengungkap motif dan etika Premature Sign-Off dari auditor independen. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan responden utama dari KAP “ABC” di Kota Semarang, serta responden pendukung dari unsur auditor dan auditee. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap pemahaman auditor terkait fenomena Premature Sign-Off serta motif dan etika yang melatarbelakangi tindakan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian fenomenologi. Data yang dianalisis adalah hasil wawancara dengan responden utama, responden pendukung (Auditor dan auditee). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fenomena Premature Sign-Off menjadi fenomena yang masih terjadi dilapangan, karena sebagian auditor masih menganggap hal tersebut sebagai hal yang wajar, walaupun secara teknis tindakan Premature Sign-Off dianggap dapat menjadi celah timbulnya salah saji material. Menurut responden (auditor) motif tindakan Premature Sign-Off adalah untuk dapat menerbitan laporan audit pada waktu yang disepakati, dan disisi etika auditor, tindakan Premature Sign-Off masih dilakukan karena dianggap tidak menimbulkan salah saji material pada laporan audit
