Abstract

Karanganyar Village is a village that produces traditional children's toys with toys based on coastal environmental structures. This traditional children's toy is one of Jepara's superior products that has not been developed by the Department of Industry and Trade and MSMEs in Jepara. This results in the underdevelopment of superior local products and local cultural wisdom compared to children's toy developers in other areas such as Purwakarta and Yogyakarta. The service program is a regional superior product development program in traditional children's toy producing centers, especially at Mekar Maju MSMEs. The specific objective of this program is to assist partners in developing superior local products in Karanganyar Village in the form of traditional children's toys so that they have a variety of toys with educational value and child-friendly and helping partners develop technology-based business management patterns. The main priority in this program is solutions to problems in the production process, product design, and marketing management. The results of this service activity can help MSMEs in (1) improving the business climate, (2) increasing access to productive resources, (3) developing products and marketing for MSMEs, (4) increasing the competitiveness of HR and MSMEs

Abstract

Bengkulu city has abundant solar energy that has not yet been utilized to optimize. Bengkulu people, especially the Muara Bangkahulu district, do not yet have the skills and knowledge to use solar panels to meet their daily electricity needs. In this activity, the workshop was carried out on the use and solar panel installation technique that could be used as an alternative source of electricity. Participants were the residents of RT.20/01, Pematang Gubernur sub-district, Muara Bangkahulu district, Bengkulu City. The workshop consisted of three main parts; they were filling out the questionnaire, presentation, and practice of installing a solar panel. The questionnaire was given at the time before and after the material and practice were done. Some household products that are using solar energy were delivered during the presentation. The next step was the installation practice of solar panels and their components. The questionnaire result shows that participants are attracted to use the solar panel as alternative electric energy. In addition, the community who initially has a limitation of knowledge to install a solar panel, after the workshop is carried out, they have the skill for that installation.

Abstract

This service program focuses on developing competitive and cultured superior village tourism, with the leading partner as the latar omah art of kaki langit village tourism. This service is carried out with an empowerment approach (active participation) through training, mentoring, and facilitation. Some of the programs carried out are (1) training and practice of painting fire for the community of mangunan and surrounding areas, which aim to support the fire painting program and improve human resources in the field of crafts; (2) excellent service training for culinary and homestay managers, homestay managers are expected to have practical, friendly, professional homestay management; (3) facilitation of fire painting tools as a medium for innovating craft tourism; (4) tourism packaging and promotion as a means to introduce and develop tourism villages in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

As social beings, humans always interact with each other, this is what is always done by every individual. In interacting emotions always appear in someone's, then bring up an attitude and mind to act according to his circumstances. The ability to act then raises an emotional expression. One of them is the expression of angry emotions, this is one of the problems that arise in every teenager (student). This training took place in MuhammadiyahYunior High School Palangkaraya on the grounds of the results of observations and interviews from class teachers and school counselors, based on the results of a questionnaire about the knowledge of angry emotions in pretest is in a low category, no similar training had been conducted at school. The results of this training activity show that there is an increase in the average value of students' understanding of recognizing angry emotions. This means the pretest score is 91.8 (medium category) and the posttest average is 127.28 (high category).

Abstract

Alumni of High Education is expected to be not only job seekers but also job creators. The role of the business world in employment is enormous, both large businesses, medium businesses, and MSMEs. The absorption of labor by SMEs is far greater than others. However, the development of MSMEs is still hampered by several obstacles, including limited knowledge in the field of production technology, limitations in reading the market, marketing technology is always simple, not thinking about strategic plans both short and long term and others. Universitas PGRI Palangka Raya tries to play a role in increasing employment through the establishment of new entrepreneurs and technology-based through Business Incubator of Universitas PGRI Palangka Raya. The novelty of the approach developed in developing this Entrepreneurial Business Incubator is the application of Human Design to detect potential and weaknesses of tenants so that a business that is suitable for the tenant can be determined. The Human Design approach will help provide direction for tenants to start their own business. The selection of tenants starts from the Entrepreneurship Seminar, which is then followed by a one-week Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp. During the Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp, tenants will be shown their potential and weaknesses with the Human Design approach. After the Entrepreneurship Training Bootcamp, tenants are asked to perfect their business plans and are still given Entrepreneurship Coaching. Until the end of the first-year program, eight successful independent entrepreneurs have been formed.

Abstract

This Community Service is entitled Microgreens Farming Business Training for Housewives in Sukabumi. The empowerment of housewives is intended to produce the potential of housewives, in addition to being able to carry out domestic or domestic duties. Housewives are also able to be active and productive in public activities and economic activities. Microgreens are vegetable seeds that are harvested very young, 7-14 days after germinating and young leaves appear. The method used in this service is the training method; namely, before carrying out direct practice, participants understand through theory first. The training participants were housewives from several women's organizations in Sukabumi. This community service is the acquisition of skills of housewives in farming microgreens and the increasing role of housewives in family welfare through the provision of healthy vegetables for the family.

Abstract

We currently live amid the rapid development of communication systems and the media's tightness, which makes everyone aware of any information conveyed. The coverage of lies or hoaxes is the focus of attention, especially in online media. Hoax is information that is engineered to cover up real information. Based on the Community Service Team's interviews and observations with partners, PCA members and administrators are acting as consumers of mass media, especially TV and internet media, namely WA, as daily information media. In its management activities, media literacy has never been carried out, even though media literacy needs an empowered and information literate society. Thus, Community Service will be carried out through this community service activity in the form of Empowerment of Aisyiyah Ngampilan Branches through Healthy Media Literacy. The method carried out by the community service team is workshops related to the importance of media literacy in dealing with hoaxes; media literacy assistance in dealing with hoaxes; digital-based "Tabayun on information to be smart as a media literate person"; making a guide book for Healthy Media Literacy; Smart As Media literate individuals face hoaxes"; providing facilities for the Aisyiyah Ngampilan Branch office that can be used to support management activities of the Aisyiyah Ngampilan Yogyakarta Branch. This Muhammadiyah-based community service is the increased ability of the board and members, especially related to healthy media literacy in dealing with hoaxes.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs today is the lack of skills possessed by students. During this time students are required to excel cognitively and are less aware of the importance of having hand skills and following extracurricular activities. Through the assistance of hand skills, making crafts from simple materials can improve an independent and creative person. Through extracurricular activities of mentoring in the field of religion (call to prayer) and mentoring using Microsoft word helps students prepare themselves to face the development of science and technology very quickly, train students to communicate in writing, and be able to improve religious values. The targets in this service are children/students in the Orphanage in Palangkaraya City. Community service activities are carried out from November to December 2019 at the Ayah dan Bunda Orphanage, the Trans Kalimantan Road, and Berkah Orphanage, G.Obos XXIV. The implementation of this service received positive responses from the participants with high enthusiasm. There is still a need to do similar, more innovative service activities on an ongoing basis to shape personality according to these goals. This community service still needs to be carried out similar activities continuously to get personality according to these goals.

Abstract

The purpose of community empowerment activities is a caring action from the Implementation Team of Ciputra University Surabaya towards the community to increase knowledge and carry out easily with direct practice. These community empowerment activities use lecture methods, group discussions, entrepreneurship training, FGDs, and the practice of operating facilities and infrastructure. First, about the importance of raising betta fish and an easy way to prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), so that public health factors become better and the possibility of contracting DHF is relatively slight. Statistical data in the city of Surabaya shows a significant decrease in DHF sufferers. Second, after being given entrepreneurship development training, it is hoped that the community individually can become a home-based business opportunity as well as making it an effort to empower the citizens' economy, bearing in mind that raising betta fish can have additional income for the community. Third, the location factor of Putat Jaya Village is very strategic, so that it becomes a business opportunity for the Putat Jaya community, especially for prospective consumers from inside and outside Surabaya to reach locations to get betta fish more efficiently.

Abstract

Pelambuan is a sub-district in West Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan Province. Part of the Pelambuan area is still a slum area because there is no drainage, garbage problems, sanitation, etc. So it needs awareness and the role of community members to love the environment and live healthily. Thus, the residents must be given an understanding of the integrated environmental drainage system (ecodrain) in residential areas to maintain and create a healthy environment. In principle, ecodrain is a program to restore and improve the quality of urban drainage flow from pollution caused by garbage or wastewater due to the indiscipline of urban residents who throw garbage or wastewater into channels or rivers that cross urban areas. Handling of drainage, which is carried out in an integrated manner by handling waste and wastewater with an environmentally sound concept (ecodrain), can be carried out in the following ways: installation and operation of waste filters, application of proper waste management with the 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) community-based, community-based sanitation improvement (Sanimas), river water quality restoration through bioremediation, construction of rainwater catchment wells to reduce the volume of rainwater runoff that will flow into drainage channels and rivers.
