Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of teachers in increasing student literacy through reading corners. The research method used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Based on the research results, it shows that literacy has increased through reading corners at MI Negeri 1 Banjarnegara as evidenced by the availability of reading corners in all classrooms and a complete collection of non-study books. Increasing literacy requires the role of teachers. The teacher has a facilitator role in that the teacher provides a representative and comfortable class so that students are able to grow their literacy skills. Teachers are also motivators and inspirers for students, in the sense that through reading corner activities teachers participate in assisting students in improving literacy. Through the reading corner, students are expected to improve their reading skills so that they have insightful knowledge and can easily access information.

Abstract

The development of technology has brought a significant impact in education, allowing the use of more interactive and effective media in the learning process, including video, audio, and images. Technology also supports distance learning, providing flexibility for students to learn from anywhere and at any time, overcoming accessibility and mobility issues in education. This study used descriptive qualitative method with a focus on students of PGMI 3A class at UIN Walisongo. Data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentation to get a picture of learning activities.Wordwall, as a web-based digital platform, is explained as a tool to create interactive learning. The platform provides quiz-based educational game templates to measure learners' understanding. In the context of music learning, Wordwall can increase interest in learning and provide variety in student evaluation. This research underscores the importance of technology integration, particularly Wordwall, in learning to create a more engaging and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

This research aims to determine efforts to increase students' divine values ​​by implementing divine values. The application of divine values is an awareness and is designed to prepare students in terms of knowledge and understanding, life and practice, and to help them believe in the religion that is part of them. This research uses the literature study method. The literature study method is a series of activities relating to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials. . This writing uses an approach by utilizing facts and supporting sources, such as ebooks, articles and a number of related journals. The results of the research show that implementing divine values ​​can increase the tolerant character of students at school. Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of digital technology development on the education of primary school children, focusing on the formation of technological ethics. In this context, the study identifies key issues such as children's lack of understanding of the negative consequences of technology use and the potential loss of control over usage time. The research methodology employed is a literature review, analyzing findings related to technological ethics among primary school children. The results indicate that despite most children having access to digital devices, their understanding of technical ethics is limited. This includes a low awareness of online privacy, data protection, and communication ethics. The implications of the research underscore the urgency of digital education and the crucial roles of parents and schools in guiding children toward responsible and ethical use of technology. These findings provide a foundation for future collaborative efforts in shaping accountable and honest digital citizens.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi di segala bidang, terutama perkembangan media sosial yang semakin canggih. Di masa pandemi Covid-19, siswa diharuskan memegang ponsel untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang berani sehingga siswa yang awalnya menggunakan media sosial Tik tok sebagai hiburan akhirnya menjadi kecanduan. Yang mengkhawatirkan bagi masa depan pelajar khususnya di media sosial adalah banyaknya unggahan yang tidak pantas untuk ditonton dan dapat merusak semangat pelajar. Penelitian ini disebut penelitian ex post facto atau penelitian terhadap peristiwa yang sudah terjadi. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara terstruktur dan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru, orang tua dan siswa kelas IV, V, VI SD Negeri Suruh Dlingo Bantul Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media sosial Tik tok oleh siswa SD Negeri Suruh cukup tinggi. mayoritas pelajar mempunyai telepon seluler pribadi sehingga akses membuka media sosial sangat mudah. Orang tua hanya memiliki sedikit kendali atas penggunaan media sosial ini, meski ada beberapa orang tua yang masih mengontrol anaknya. Pengaruh media sosial tik tok terhadap perkembangan moral anak di SD Negeri Suruh lebih banyak memberikan pengaruh negatif seperti tidak sopan terhadap orang tua dan guru, bahasa yang digunakan siswa juga cenderung tidak sopan, berani membantah, kurang peduli terhadap orang lain. lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: To improve the ability to read beginning Indonesian language through syllabic method in class I MI Yaa Bunayya. This type of research is a class action research of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were first grade students of MI Yaa Bunayya. Data collection techniques using observation. The existence of early reading skills is indicated by an increase in the attitude of students when participating in learning in each cycle. In cycle I got a total score of 165 with a percentage of 55% including the category of poor beginning reading ability. In cycle II, it got a score of 240 with a percentage of 80% including the category of excellent beginning reading ability so that there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II

Abstract

Ekstrakulikuler seni musik angklung merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan di luar jam pelajaran menggunakan alat musik angklung yang terbuat dari bambu. Regulasi diri merupakan usaha individu untuk meraih tujuan yang telah direncanakan dengan melibatkan aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui pengaruh ekstrakulikuler angklung terhadap regulasi diri siswa (2) mengetahui faktor penghambat dan pendukung ekstrakulikuler seni musik angklung dalam menumbuhkan regulasi diri siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah seni musik angklung dapat meningkatkan regulasi diri siswa terutama bagi siswa yang memiliki tingkat intelegensi yang tinggi. Kondisi siswa yang lelah dan sulit berkonsentrasi siswa hanya bisa konsentrasi maksimal 15 menit setelah itu siswa susah fokus dan harus di pancing dengan motivasi dan apresiasi supaya dapat kembali fokus kepada pembimbing ekstra, dalam kegiatan ekstra angklung ini dijumpai kelemahan salah satu diantaranya yakni keterbatasan jumlah angklung dan ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SD Muhammadiyah Biak serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam proses tersebut. Berdasarkan observasi awal, ditemukan bahwa beberapa siswa menunjukkan kurangnya minat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, yang ditandai dengan perilaku seperti seringnya meminta izin keluar kelas untuk menghindari pelajaran atau berbicara dengan teman sebangku selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan guru wali kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa meliputi penggunaan metode pengajaran yang beragam, pemberian motivasi verbal, penghargaan (reward), serta penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi guru, seperti kurangnya minat siswa terhadap pelajaran, pengaruh buruk dari teman, serta minimnya perhatian dan pengawasan dari orang tua. Strategi-strategi ini diharapkan dapat diterapkan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa, sehingga tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai dengan lebih baik

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the education and coaching system at the Darul Istiqamah Islamic Boarding School in Makassar, as well as the role of Kiai and teachers in managing students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method involving interviews, observation, and documentation to obtain in-depth data regarding aspects of education in Islamic boarding schools. The research results show that the Darul Istiqamah Islamic Boarding School applies a holistic approach to developing the character and religious knowledge of its students. The role of Kiai and teachers is very significant in directing and guiding students through interactive and participatory teaching methods. In addition, this research identifies the challenges faced in the student admission process and in structuring their social life. The conclusion of this research confirms that the Darul Istiqamah Islamic Boarding School is committed to improving the quality of education while maintaining local religious and cultural values, as well as adapting to current developments. The existence of this Islamic boarding school not only contributes to religious education but also to the formation of the character of students who have noble morals and are ready to make a positive contribution to society.

Abstract

This study analyzes the teaching module on the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum at Al-Anshor Pagaralam Elementary School, which aims to determine the function and influence of the teaching module in assisting the flexible and contextual teaching and learning process. the method used is descriptive qualitative, through data collection by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the study state that the teaching module helps teachers organize learning based on student needs, provides creative learning, and helps improve the profile of Pancasila students. However, obstacles are still faced, such as the lack of teaching guidance and learning facilities. this study discusses the importance of continuous training for teachers when improving effective and relevant teaching modules. the authenticity of local values in teaching modules can be suggested to develop the relevance and meaning of learning. these findings provide important insights for the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum in various educational units.
