Abstract

The background of this research is to know the ability of narrative writing in the elementary school in Jayamulya village, Semendawai sub-district, tribe III, East Oku district. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to write narrative texts for fifth grade students in Jayamulya Village, Semendawai District, III OKU Timur. This research is a qualitative research, namely research that has a naturalbackground, is descriptive, further improves the process, tends to analyze data, and focuses on meaning. The method of datacollection was carried out by means of a population andsamples taken from two elementary schools in JayamulyaVillage and obtained 21 students, it is known that of the 21 students studied they were less able to write narratives. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that all fifth grade students in Jayamulya Village are less able towrite narratives with the theme Aktivitas di Rumah Selama Pandemi Corona

Abstract

This study aims to describe the reading understanding of the sixth grade student of SD Negeri Nusa Tunggal. This type research is a qualitative researh using desriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out ussing the test procedure cloze as many as 5 readings were tested. The data analysis technique was carried qout using the test analysis procedure cloze in the form of a formula. The subjects in this study were all student of class VI SD Negeri Nusa Tunggal totaling 24 people. The results showed that the reading understanding of the sixth grade student of SD Negeri Nusa Tunggal was at the level of instruksional readers (medium). This is evidenced by the 5 readings tested, there are 3 readings that are at the level of instructional readers, namely, reading II as many as 13 students (54,16%), readings III as many as 16 (students (66,66%), and reading IV as many as students (45,83%) while 2 readings are at the level of frustrated readers, namely, reading I as many as 18 (75%), and reading V as many as 12 students (50%). This is evidenced from the percentage of student scores in table test results cloze showed the highest value cloze of each reading test. Thus, students reading ability in understanding reading is categorized as moderate or sufficient.

Abstract

The background of this research is the use of children's story media as CHYBK learning materials. This study aims to describe the characters in the stories contained in the book Shoes Sang Raja and other Beautiful Tales by Djokolelono as CHYBK material at SD Xaverius 1 Palembang and recommend character learning activities using children's stories. Data collection techniques in this study using document analysis. Document analysis in this study by means of character analysis. Character analysis focuses on the main character in each of the children's stories in the books of Shoes the King and other Beautiful Tales by Djokoleno. Based on the results of the data obtained, the research results were found in the form of character analysis, and the results of the identification of Competency Standards and Basic Competencies which would later be used to design the implementation of learning, the researcher recommended CHYBK RPP.

Abstract

Self efficacy is important for an inclusive primary school teacher. Self efficacy is able to assist teacher in preparing learning, teaching, and solving learning problems and facilitating learning in inclusive classes. This study aims to examine the self efficacy of inclusive primary school teachers and that factors that encourage the self efficacy of inclusive primary school teachers. This research is literature study by reviewing 18 articles from reputable journals about inclusive inclusive primary school teachers. The result of this study are the factors that influence the self efficacy of inclusive primary school teachers are the dynamics with students and teaching experience,mastery learning, teacher professionalism, positive belief in students, strategies for teaching methods and media, inclusive attitudes and outcomes of student achievement and motivation.

Abstract

The background of this study was to determine the ability to write descriptive texts of third grade students at SD Xaverius 3 Palembang. The purpose of the study was to determine the ability to write descriptive texts of third grade students at SD Xaverius 3 Palembang. This research is entitled "Analysis of the Ability to Write a Description Text of Class III B Students at SD Xaverius 3 Palembang". This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely to describe and analyze people's thoughts individually. There are two methods of collecting data, namely population and samples taken from research at SD Xaverius 3 Palembang and obtained 23 students in class III B. close of 23 students are less able to write descriptive text. From the results of the research and discussion, it can be said that all third grade students are less able to write descriptive text with the theme "Objects in class".

Abstract

Writing is one of the basic language skills that humans must possess in addition to listening, speaking, and reading. In general, exposition texts are divided into 6 types, namely definition exposition, classification exposition, illustration exposition, comparison exposition, report exposition and process exposition. In this study, the focus is on examining process exposition, namely explanations or written steps to explain how something happens. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the ability to write process exposition in fourth grade students of SD Baptist Palembang. The triangulation technique used by the researcher is the researcher's triangulation by giving the students' writings to the validator to be checked so that the data used by the researcher is truly valid. The data validity technique used triangulation of sources and methods. This study aims to determine the ability of the process exposition of fourth grade students of SD Baptist Palembang. Data collection techniques are by observation, interviews, and tests. The subjects in this study were grade IV students, totaling 23 students. The results of this study are: Students who get a score of 66.66 as much as 4% (1 student), a score of 75 as much as 23% (5 students), a score of 77.77 as much as 4% (1 student), a score of 83.33 as much as 14% (3 students), the value of 91.66 is 32% (7 students), the value of 100 is 23% (5 students). So from 23 students who got a score of 75 as many as 17 students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make a Match model assisted by multiplication board learning media on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class II students at SD Negeri 6 Cendono, Kudus. This study used a pre-experimental design with the One Group Pre-test Post-test Design model. Determination of the subjects of this study were selected using non-probability sampling with saturated sampling. The sample used was 10 students, while the instrument in this study used a data collection method in the form of description questions which had been validated to contain indicators for assessing the mathematical problem solving abilities of class II students. Data analysis was performed using a parametric statistical test, namely the Paired Sample T-test. The results showed that the significance value ? 0.000 <0.05. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. so it can be concluded that the use of the Make a Match learning model with the help of multiplication board media has a significant effect on the mathematical problem solving abilities of Class II students at SD 6 Cendono.

Abstract

Science subjects need accuracy in determining learning styles, so the teacher's role is very important in improving learning outcomes, especially science subjects, because science lessons are very closely related to nature. This study aims to determine the learning styles and the impact of learning styles visually, autiotorily, and kinesthetically for students of class V to SD 6 cendono. This type of learning style has problems with what the teacher explains, often forgets to do the assignments the teacher has given orally, and is always wrong in doing what the teacher orders, and has difficulty expressing what is thought. The teacher is able to place learning styles according to the material that students have studied, so that students are able to develop the value of their learning outcomes even more, especially in science subjects. Learning style is an aspect that needs attention. Learning styles are also an easy way for students to capture, organize, and process the information they receive.

Abstract

Study habits are techniques or ways that exist in students in receiving learning, doing assignments and managing time in completing an activity. This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between study habits and student achievement in mathematics class V SDN 6 Cendono. This type of research is quantitative research using correlational analysis techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses product moment correlation. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. Study habits data were obtained from the angle while learning achievement data was obtained through documentation. Data processing is carried out after the prerequisite test is carried out in the form of a data normality test. The results of this study showed that the correlation coefficient r calculated was -0.140 and the sig.(2-tailed) value was 0.429 > 0.05, so ????????was accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between study habits and student achievement in mathematics class V SDN 6 Cendono. In this study the relationship between the two variables is very weak and negative, which means they have a relationship that is not opposite or opposite.

Abstract

Speaking skills in Indonesian is a language skill that needs to be mastered well. This is because speaking skills are one of the most important indicators for student success in learning languages. Speech is one of the skills that must be mastered by students. The research focuses on the ability to make speeches seen from the structure of the speech. the structure of the speech, among others, opening, content, and closing. This study aims to describe the speech skills of Musi Charitas Catholic University students, seen from the structure of the building. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source is from tests conducted on students of Musi Charitas Catholic University batch 2021, totaling 84 students. The results of tests conducted on research subjects were then transcribed and became a source of data. The research instrument is a student's speech test by referring to the instruments that have been used previously. The results showed that 88.8% of the research subjects were able to produce the opening part, 80.4% of the research subjects were able to produce the content part, and 71.3% of the research subjects were able to produce the closing part.
