Abstract

In the sport of wrestling, a wrestling athlete needs strength endurance in all parts of the body, especially the shoulder muscles which will serve as a starting point for lifting and slamming opponents. But unfortunately, women's wrestling athletes still can't do that, so mistakes often occur. To support this, training with the right guidelines is needed so that the ability to increase physical condition can be achieved efficiently. One model of exercise that is currently popular is the kettlebell training model which has been proven to have various benefits. So this study aims to examine the effect of the kettlebell training model with the set system method on increasing the endurance of the shoulder muscle strength of female wrestling athletes. The experimental method with a randomized pretest-posttest control group design was used in this study. The samples of this study were eight KBB female wrestling athletes who were selected using total sampling from the population, which were then divided into two groups (experimental and control). The instrument used is The Shoulder Endurance Test (SET) which is used to measure the endurance of the shoulder muscle strength. Treatment in the form of a kettlebell exercise model with the set system method was given to the experimental group for eight weeks. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the kettlebell training model with the set system method has a significant effect on increasing the endurance of the female wrestling athletes' shoulder muscle strength. In addition, the kettlebell training model with the set system method provides a greater percentage increase in the endurance of the female wrestling athletes' shoulder muscle strength.

Abstract

The use of masks has to do for everyone who does activities outside the home. This applies when people perform physical activities outside the home. The study aims to determine the effect of using a mask on the leukocytes total when doing physical activity running. The research method used an experiment with a randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design. There are 5 participants. Data were collected through a running test. The data analysis technique used Paired Sample T-test and Independent T-test. The results of the paired t-test concluded that there was a significant effect (0.03 < 0.05) on the number of leukocytes between before and after doing a maximum activity without a mask. Meanwhile, participants who wore masks did not show any difference in the number of leukocytes before and after maximum physical activity (0.13 > 0.05). The results of the independent t-test concluded that there was no difference in the number of leukocytes before and after maximum activity without a mask with wearing a mask. The results of the study have implications for understanding various physical activities in increasing the number of leukocytes, but the use of masks does not affect maximum physical activity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of basketball passing learning outcomes through modification of the traditional fort and pushcart games for junior high school students. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research with Kemmis and Mc.Taggart models through 2 cycles with stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII.2 SMPN 1 Talang Kelapa and the research sample amounted to 32 people. The results showed that there was an increase in basketball passing learning outcomes through modifications to the traditional fort and pushcart games for junior high school students. The results of the pre-cycle of students who were able to achieve a completeness score were 13 people with a graduation percentage of 41%. After learning cycle 1 the number of students who achieved completeness scores was 23 people with a passing percentage of 71%. Meanwhile, after cycle 2, there were 29 students who achieved the completeness score with a percentage of 91%, which means that the target of classical learning success, namely 85% of students who passed, had been achieved. It can be concluded that the modification of the traditional game fortification and pushcart can be used as a learning model to improve basketball passing for junior high school students.

Abstract

Football skills are one of the fundamental aspects that must be possessed by football players. In addition, to support football skills, football players must be equipped with the ability to be in good physical condition. Based on theoretical studies, movement in football is dominated by dynamic movements so that dynamic balance is one of the important aspects in supporting football skills. This study aims to determine the relationship between dynamic balance and football skills. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of correlational research. The population of this study was the Junior Players of the Persati Aceh Tamiang Club, totaling 36 athletes (total sampling). The data collection techniques were as follows: (1) dynamic balance using the "Modified Bass Balance Test", (2) football skills were measured using David Lee test. Data analysis was carried out using simple correlation analysis techniques and multiple correlations. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is a significant relationship between dynamic balance and football skills (r= 0.65), and dynamic balance contributes 42.25% to football skills

Abstract

Football is a very popular sport in indonesia. Management is an important aspect in the organization of a football club. This study aims to determine the extent of the application of management functions in a football club. This study uses a qualitative research design with the type of case study research that aims to find out and find as much information as possible and an overview of the management of a football club. The subjects in this study were all components of the PSGL Gayo Lues club, namely club owners, coaches and football players. The data in this study were obtained based on the output of observational interviews, while secondary data were obtained through archives, documents, photos of activities and others. Data analysis consists of four components, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation or display, drawing conclusions or conclution drawings. Based on the results of the research and description of the data, it can be concluded based on the management functions as follows: (1) the planning function can be carried out properly in a football club management, the football club must have a Memorandum & Article of Association, (2) The organizing function will be carried out if the human resources in the football club organization have met the qualifications and competencies needed in an organization, (3)The actuating function will be carried out well if the leadership at the club can play an optimal role so that there will be a principle of leadership hierarchy, (4). The controlling function in the management of the football club organization will run optimally if each evaluation result can be followed up with a fixed target

Abstract

Basic competence of a good teacher is very important to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, but there are some problems of teacher competence that are very interesting to study and research, especially at the elementary school level. The problem in this research: How is the Pedagogic Competence, Personality Competence, Social Competence and Professional Competence of Physical Education Teachers in Sports and Health in elementary schools in East Ungaran Sub-district, Semarang Regency. The approach in this study is a qualitative research approach using qualitative data analysis techniques with interactive analysis models (Interactive Analysis Models), namely the components of data reduction and data presentation carried out together with the data collection process. After the data is collected, the three components of the analysis (data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing) interact with each other. This study uses two supporting data, namely primary data and secondary data. The number of informants is 20 public elementary schools in East Ungaran sub-district. The results of this study are the pedagogical competence of teachers of Physical Education, Sports and Health in the District of East Ungaran in the very good category reaching 10%, 80% good, and 10% sufficient. Personal competence of Physical Education, Sports and Health teachers is 40% in very good category, 50% is good, and 10% is sufficient. Social competence reached 45% very good, 50% good, and 5% enough. Professional competence is 10% very good, 70% good, and 20% quite. The conclusion of the study is that the pedagogic, personality, social and professional competencies of Physical Education and Sports teachers in East Ungaran District are good. Suggestions in this study are that increasing professional competence needs attention so that the quality of education in Indonesia in particular can increase.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has caused behavioral changes in accessing information related to various health information. Previous studies show that the physical literacy of young adult university students is still inadequate. This study aims to describe the health literacy overview of Sriwijaya University students during the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 764 (M= 191; F= 573) and 17-34 year’s old (19,22; ±1,76) students were participated in this study. This study used a cross-sectional survey using the HLS-SQ10-IDN comprehensive health literacy questionnaire consists of 10 items measuring health literacy. The results show that the health literacy level of Sriwijaya University students during the Covid-19 pandemic was good. The students could easily find information related to health, find out what medical action to take in the case of an emergency, and were aware of health threats. This study is limited to the general health literacy overview of Sriwijaya University students, future studies are suggested to examine several factors that may influence or associate with the health literacy of university students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for developing learning media based on android applications in volleyball game learning. This research method uses a survey through filling out questionnaires distributed via google form. The number of respondents in this study were 110 students of physical education and health study programs. The results showed that 100% of students stated that they needed varied learning media, 92.7% of students needed smartphones in volleyball learning, 80.1% of students stated that smartphones made it easier for students to support the volleyball learning process, and 92.1% students need an android application for learning volleyball games. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be seen that the development of learning media based on android applications in volleyball games is needed for learning volleyball games, which can later be used as one of the learning media in volleyball games.

Abstract

Maximum performance must be accompanied by structured and systematic training activities. In the training process, we know that four aspects must be considered, namely technical, physical, tactical, and psychological. This psychological aspect is often neglected in the training process, and Taekwondo (TKD) is no exception. A taekwondo athlete needs a variety of psychological components, including motivation, mental, self-confidence, concentration, anxiety, and others. All these psychological components must be following their respective portions, not less or even excess. The purpose of this study was to describe the psychological aspects of taekwondo athletes during training. The research method used in this study is a survey method with a research design using an ex post facto approach. The research instrument used is the Psychological Aspects in Training Phase Questionnaire (PATPQ) questionnaire which contains eight psychological aspects with 50 statements. The results showed as follows: aspects of motivation (82% = very high), mental toughness (81% = very high), self-confidence (76% = high), concentration (73% = high), fighting power (72% = high ), emotional control (66% = high) and anxiety (53% = moderate). So it can be concluded that the psychological aspects of taekwondo athletes in the training phase are still not optimal, but have led to the best performance as the training process goes on.

Abstract

Basic skills Shooting is the most well-known and most popular basketball basicand is a part of the trainer's training program. The NBA is a good competition and shooting is an important part of scoring points and winning, it is necessary to analyze the abilities of shooting the best ten athlete leaders NBA season 2020-202. The data obtained will be analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach. The conclusion of this study is that from the results of data analysis, the results of the data and discussion are the average ability of shooting1 point Ten Athletes Leaders NBA season 2020-2021 is 84.42%, average ability is shooting2 points Ten Athletes Leaders NBA season 2020-2021 by 50.02% and an average ability of shooting3 points Ten Athletes Leaders NBA season 2020-2021 by 39.38%
