Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to produce a module of Indonesian language learning material with mind mapping in writing paper ability which are valid, practice, and effective to be used by the XI grade students of SMA/MA. This research tends to research and development research by using 4-D model of development. Development activities are started by identification, design, and development. Data of this research belongs to quantitative that is got by assessment of valuator, Indonesian teacher, students, and the result of students in learning Indonesian. Based on the analysis and discussion of data, the writer gives many conclusions. First, validation of module of Indonesian language learning material with mind mapping in writing paper ability at the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru tends to very valid with 94,89. Second, practicability of the modul can be said as very practice with 81.71. Third, effectiveness of the module tends to very effective with 86,74 from students and completeness show the result of learning is good category or 76.85 (34 students from 39 students). Therefore, it can be concluded that the module which is developed can be used as learning material in the school, especially for the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru in writing paper ability. Abstract

Abstract: The pourpuse this study were to describe the values of education in Story script of Randai titled “Malangga Sumpah” written by Lukman Bustami. The research data was collected by qualitative data, The result of this study is four values of education values in randai script ”Malangga Sumpah” in by Lukman Bustami there are believe and religious, integrity, caring, and honesty. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research was the problem at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan about advertisement writing skill. The problems were less precise to make title creation, to made advertisement text,  to made picture visualization, and giving slogan. To solve this problem, it needed learning module which was developed based contextual approach. The type of this research was development by applying 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate) Instrument of this research used the module validity questionnaire, the module practicality questionnaire for teacher and students, and test sheet for task. Module had been tested to the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan which had been previously validated. The data analyzing technique used descriptive statistics to get percentage practicality and effectiveness of learning module.The result of this research was a module development based contextual in advertisement writing subject where: (1) designed module was valid, it was categorized “very valid” which include valid in terms of content, language, presentation and graphics (2) designed module was practically to be used which include practically in terms of easy and time (3) designed module was effective in increasing students’ activity and students’ motivation in advertisement writing subject, it could be seen from students’ activity and students’ achievement by using test performance. Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to produced the module based context model of writing review material. The development of the modul model were grounded by a crucial problem, students have a low ability in writing the review by productive teaching facility or the teaching material, the teacher tend to deliver the material based on memorize context, not a synthetic thinking, so that the students fell bored and annoyed, and the teaching material was not focused in increasing students ability. Kind of this research is research and development. Research procedure used ADDIE model is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluasi. Module draft developed then validated by three expert judgement. After module in validated, the module stride was tested on student at Class IX SMP 7 Padang Bolak. The data obtained to be analyzed descriptively. This research found that (1) module based context of writing review material which was developed, (2) module based context of writing review have been practice to use in writing review leraning, and (3) module based context of writing review have been effective in increasing student activities and motivations on studied writing learning. Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed at describing the process of inquiry-based module design development on essay editing subject that is valid, practical, and effective in achieving the learning goal for class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Sirombu Kabupaten Nias Barat. The type of this research is Research and Development/R&D with 4-D research design (define, design, develop, disseminate). This research uses quantitative approach. The data type of this research is quantitative data that consist of three types of data which are data validated by expert, data from practitioner’s assessments, and effectiveness data in form of learning results and student’s activities. Based on the result of the research, it reveals that the module design falls into category valid, practical, and effective. This could be seen in the validity of the module with a score of 90,41 which falls into very valid criteria. The practicality of teacher’s module is very practical with a score of 94,44 and the practicality of student’s module is 91,56 which falls into very practical criteria. The effectiveness of module, which consists of student’s learning results have average result of 81,05 which is qualified as Good (B) and the activities of students got a score of 81,48 with classification very active. Abstract

Abstrak: Folklore is a culture that has been attached to a community group. Become part of the folklore of wealth and assets that need to be documented and preserved. A society can be identified by knowing their identity and know they have folklore. One of folklore found in Indonesia is one who knows the song of one who knows-wedding Angkola Batak tribe. Folklore is the property or assets located in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. In order folklore can be maintained continuity, required documentation. One of the efforts is the implementation documentation of this study. In addition, this study aimed to describe more specifically the values ​​of religious educational, toughness, caring, and honesty. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Object of this study is Nyanyian Onang-onang at the wedding of Batak Angkola’s tribe. Data collection was done by recording and recording. The data of this study are the lyrics to Nyanyian Onang-onang at the wedding of Batak Angkola tribe in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. Once the data is obtained and collected in accordance with the method of the study, followed by describing and interpret research results. Based on the results of the data analysis, the results of this study can be obtained in the form of educational values ​​in Nyanyian Onang-onang the following, namely: (1) the values ​​of religious educational indicators peercaya to Almighty God, obedient to the commands of God Almighty, away prohibition of God, and thankful, (2) the values ​​of educational discipline indicators degan toughness and ductile, (3) educational values ​​of caring and compassion with the indicator (4) educational values ​​of honesty with responsibility indicators. Based on the data and discussion of these results, it can be concluded that in the song lyrics of Nyanyian Onang-onang there are four educational value. Of the four educational value can be dimplikasikan the formal world, especially in local content.

Abstract

Abstract: The important problem in this research is the weakness of argumentation writing skills of grade X.3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh, as a result a media is needed in order to increase student’s argumentation writing skills. The purposes of this research are as follows (1) describe the increasing process of grade X.3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh argumentation writing skills using Mind Mapping, and (2) describe the increasing result of grade X.3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh argumentation writing skills using Mind Mapping. This research is a Classroom Action Research using analytic descriptive method. The subjects of this research are 30 grade X.3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. Based on the data analysis and the result of the research, some conclusions are made as follows. First, teaching and learning process of argumentation writing using Mind Mapping can increase student’s learning process in grade X.3 SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. Second, teaching and learning process of argumentation writing using Mind Mapping can increase student’s learning result, the students got 55,6 in pre-phase become 75 in first phase and 81,5 in the second phase. Along with these conclusions, the researcher can recommend two things, first, grade X.3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh argumentation writing skills should be increase through intensive exercise. Second, the argumentation writing skills need to be grown up among students.   Kata Kunci: keterampilan menulis, tulisan argumentasi, media peta pikiran

Abstract

Abstract :This research conducted based on the students’ inability to express ideas in poetry Writing. This could be seen from the average score of their learning achievenment  which was under the Minimum Standard of Achievement (KKM). This was a classroom action research which was conducted in order to explain the process of improving Al-Qur’an translation based learning in poetry writing through modeling approach in class X-1 of MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan. There were 28 students involved as the subject of this research. The data was collected by using qualitative approach and supported by the quantitative one. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet, field note and interview. This research was conducted in two cycles and four meetings. In conducting this research, the research collaborated with one of the Indonesia Language teachers. The research findings showed that the use of modeling approach could improve the students’ ability in poetry writing. In the first cycle, their average score in poetry writing was 61,34 and then it became 73,82 in the third cycle. The improvement involved all of indicators in poetry writing. Based on the research finding, it can be concluded that (1) the application of Al-Qur’an translation-based learning process can improve the student’s learning achievement in poerty writing in class X-1 of MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan, (2) there are some factors that affect learning process, some of them are (a) teachers’ strategy in adapting the method and the learning materials, (b) the changing of students’ behavior in poetry writing in which there is an interaction between the students and the teachers in learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted due to some misunderstanding occurring between the students and the teachers. It derived from the students who did not understanding the function and purpose of the teacher’s discourse. They were not well understood by thee students as the forms and strategies applied were inappropriate to the situation and condition which the utterances produced.The purpose of this research was to describe and analyze the directive speech acts teacher’s in the learning process in MTs Riadhus Sholihin, Koto Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung in terms of form, speak strategies, and students responses to the speech act. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collected through observation interviews, and recording on the discharge of duties of teacher’s in MTs Riadhus Sholihin, Koto Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung. Analyzing data is descriptively. The research data in the form of a directive speech acts teacher’s in the learning process of teachers in MTs Riadhus Sholihin, Koto Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung. The research data were analyzed by using a Unitied Padan Ekstralingual Method. Based on the research result of directive speech acts teachers in the learning processes in MTs Riadhus Sholihin, Koto Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung concluded the following. First, the speech acts that are found are (1) send, (2) begging, (3) demanding, (4) advice, and (5) challenging. Second, the strategy speech spoken in realizing directive by the teacher in the learning process in MTs Riadhus Sholihin, Koto Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung there are three kinds namely (1) strategy frankly speak directly, (2) strategy speak francely with pleasantries and positive politeness, and (3) strategy vaguely recalled. Third, student responses related to the student’s responses to speech act of teachers. Student’s responses in MTs Riadhus Sholihin, Koto Baru, Kabupaten Sijunjung to the speech act of teacher’s are more likely to respond verbally positive connotation. Abstract

Abstract: The research begins with the problem in the use of vocabulary and diction by students in writing poetry. The purposes of this research are as follows (1) describe the increasing process of grade X.3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh in writing poetry using pictures, and (2) describe the increasing result of grade X.1 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh in writing poetry using pictures. The subjects of this research are 30 students of X.1 in SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. The subjects of this research are 30 grade X.1 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. Based on the data analysis and the result of the research, some conclusions are made as follows. First, teaching and learning process in writing poetry using pictures can increase student’s learning process in grade X.1 SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. Second, teaching and learning process in writing poetry using pictures can increase student’s learning result, the students got 59,69 in pre-phase become 69,33 in first phase and 82,6 in the second phase. Along with these conclusions, the researcher can recommend two things, first, grade X.1 students of SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh in writing poetry should be increased through intensive exercise.
