Abstract

This research aimed to produced the module based context model of writing essay. The development of the modul model were grounded by a crucial problem, students have a low ability in writing essayby productive teaching facility or the teaching material, the teacher tend to deliver the material based on memorize context, not a synthetic thinking, so that the students fell bored and annoyed,and the teaching material was not focused in increasing students ability. Kind of this research is research and development. Research procedure used 4-D model is Define,Design, Development, and Disseminate. Module draft developed then validated by three expert judgement. After module in validated, the module stride was tested on student at class X SMA1Rantauprapat. The data obtained to be analyzed descriptively.This research found that (1) module based context of writing essay which was developed, (2) module based context of writing essay have been practice to use in writing essay leraning, and (3) module based context of writing essay have been effective in increasing student activities and motivations on studied writing learning

Abstract

This study aims to produce an inquiry learning model on Indonesian subjects. This model emphasizes the discovery of meaning contained in a text. This inquiry learning model was developed through the Plomp model (2013) which consisted of the preliminary research stage, the prototype stage, and the assessment stage. This model is validated by experts in terms of substance aspects, presentation, language, and graphics. This model was tested in class XII of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak to see the practicality and effectiveness. This study shows that the inquiry learning model in Indonesian language subjects in class XII of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak is valid, practical, and effective. The validity of the inquiry learning model seen from the results of content validation and constructs with a score of 3.70 is a very valid category. The practicality of the inquiry learning model can be seen from the results of the practical sheet filled by students of 84.5 with a very practical category, while the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model seen from the increase in student learning outcomes by 94.65 in the very effective category.

Abstract

Abstrak-Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masalah kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam menilai pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu keterampilan yang amat penting untuk dinilai adalah keterampilan berkomunikasi sebagai pondasi bagi siswa dalam arus perkembangan teknologi semakin canggih. Hal ini perlu dirancang sebuah model penilaian yang tepat digunakan oleh guru untuk menilai keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Objek penelitian ini guru bahasa Indonesia Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Gunungtua Padang Lawas Utara kelas XI yang terdiri atas dua kelas, yaitu XI-A dan XI-B yang berjumlah 90 orang siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket validasi model, angket praktikalitas model, angket efektivitas model, pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan tes. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model penilaian untuk menilai keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa kelas menengah atas valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan oleh guru bahasa Indonesia.

Pengembangan modul didasarkan pada masalah krusial, siswa memiliki kemampuan menulis yang rendah dalam menulis resensi dengan fasilitas pengajaran yang produktif atau materi ajar, guru cenderung memberikan materi berdasarkan konteks hafalan, bukan pemikiran sintetis, sehingga siswa merasa bosan dan lelah, dan materi pengajarannya tidak terfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan model ADDIE adalah Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Rancangan modul dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh tiga penilaian ahli. Setelah modul di validasi, langkah modul diujikan pada siswa Kelas IX SMP 7 Padang Bolak. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa (1) modul berbasis pendekatan kontekstual dalam menulis review material telah dikembangkan, (2) modul berbasis kontekstual telah diujikan dalam penulisan resensi, dan (3) modul berdasarkan pendekatan konteks dalam menulis efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar belajar menulis.Kata kunci: Modul; menulis bahan resensi; ADDIE model.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid, effective, and practical context-based review writing model that can be use. The development of this model is motivated by a crucial problem where students are still low in writing reviews. This is due to less productive teaching materials and teachers tend to convey material at the rote level, not yet touching on synthetic thinking. As a result, students become bored and uncomfortable in learning to write reviews practically. This type of research is research and development using the ADDIE model is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This context-based review writing model was developed through stages starting from the prototype stage, expert validation, to evaluation. Testing of this model was carried out on grade XI students of General High School 7 Padang Bolak. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observations, and in-depth interviews. The data obtained is done by analyzing descriptively. The findings of this study are a valid, practical, and effective context-based review writing model that can increase students' motivation in learning to write reviews.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the correlation of integrated principals' transformational leadership on the performance of teachers at SMA N 1 Medan City. The problems found in the field are the low ability of school principals in motivating teachers to work and innovate. This type of research is quantitative research using a survey method involving 80 teachers as respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to teachers, structured interviews, and in-depth observations. Data were analyzed by t test and f test. Data analysis was carried out by simple regression to determine the relationship of each variable X to Y, then using multiple regression formulas to determine the contribution of X1 and X2 together to variable Y. Before testing the hypothesis, the classical assumption was first tested, which consisted of from the normality assumption test, heteroscedasticity test, serial correlation test and multicollinearity test, and the second is regression analysis test. The findings of this study are that the principal's transformational leadership can improve the performance of teachers to be creative and innovate.

Abstract

This study provided about the acquiring language in three years old boy in small family scope. The main point of this research was Batak Angkola boy who spoke Indonesian in Padangsidimpuan. The data which were used for this analyzing was authentic had got by making observation. These data were also analyzed based on three main features is analyzing based on the sentence structure; analyzing based on sentence pattern, and analyzing based on the quantity of data utterances in each utterances. The acquisition language in three years old boy was founded that the sentences were not complete yet in his utterances and it was usually simple sentence. Based on the number of utterances for each speech turn, it is proven that a three year old child in speaking only answers questions from the interlocutor. This study is still far from perfect. The scope of the discussion which was originally deliberately used to limit this study, is not impossible, but it is actually dwarfing the scope of the discussion.
