Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan meningkatkan persepsi pembelajaran digital mahasiswa menggunakan aplikasi Googleclassroom pada mata kuliah Kimia Fisika II dan Dasar Kimia Analitik. Sampel penelitian adalah 51 mahasiswa semester IV dari dua kelas yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang dilakukan adalah one-group pretest-postest design. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji-t dengan bantuan program SPSS 21 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan persepsi pembelajaran digital mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Googleclassroom yang meliputi (1) adanya peningkatan persepsi terhadap pendidikan tanpa menggunakan kertas (Paperless Education); (2) adanya peningkatan persepsi terhadap pembelajaran bervisi kimia hijau (Green Chemistry) (3) adanya peningkatan persepsi terhadap literasi digital individu (Individual Digital Literation); dan (4) adanya peningkatan persepsi terhadap stimulus lingkungan pembelajaran (Learning Environment Stimulus). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pemangku kebijakan institusi pendidikan menengah maupun tinggi dalam memanfaatkan Googleclassroom sebagai penunjang pembelajaran digital di era pendidikan berbasis teknologi informasi. Abstract

Understanding concepts is not enough just to provide information from the teacher, but students must be able to construct their knowledge and understanding of the knowledge they have and apply it to everyday life, including colloidal material. This research was conducted to analyze the chemical concepts associated with making surfactants from sugarcane bagasse. The research method is qualitative descriptive research on 6 Chemistry Education Lecturers at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. The method used is random sampling. The instrument used in the form of rubrics that contain chemical concepts related to the manufacture of surfactants from bagasse with grading scale of 1-3. The implementation consists of: (1) Preparation stage, namely the creation of context content analysis instruments relating to surfactants, and research permits; (2) Research stage, covering all activities at the research site, namely research instrument testing and data collection; (3) Stage of completion, including data processing. The results of the analysis are then calculated the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI). CVI value of 0.72 was obtained, which means that the content is highly related in the production of surfactants from sugarcane bagasse. The results of the analysis of chemical concepts related to the manufacture of surfactants from bagasse, in general have been contained in curriculum books, literature, journals, articles. This shows that the concept in making surfactants can be used in chemistry learning in high school students. The implications of this study make it easier for students to know the chemicals involved in making surfactants. Keywords Chemical concepts, surfactants, bagasse, colloids

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya minat siswa dalam membaca buku sehingga dibutuhkan suatu media yaitu video pembelajaran yang mampu membantu siswa dalam memahami pelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendesain video pembelajaran dengan bantuan software wondershare filmora pada materi asam basa yang valid berdasarkan validitas ahli mteri, ahli media, uji praktikalitas guru dan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang meliputi tahapan (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan bentuk awal produk, (4) uji lapangan awal, (5) revisi produk. Uji lapangan awal dilakukan di SMA IT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru terhadap peserta didik kelas X IPA Ikhwan. Hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi diperoleh nilai sebesar 91,25% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Uji praktikalitas guru mendapatkan hasil sebesar 95,13% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan uji praktikalitas peserta didik mendapatkan hasil sebesar 82,7% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Abstract

This research was instigated by the importance of learning facility technology based for students on Chemistry Subject. It was aimed at knowing the validity and practicality of media that was designed. This research was conducted to the eleventh-grade students of MIPA 6 at State Senior High School 1 Pekanbaru in the Academic Year 2019/2020, and they were 12. It was Research and Development with Borg and Gall modified model. The techniques of collecting the data were observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The final product was in the form of instructional media that was valid. POE (Prediction, Observation and Explanation) based Electronic Book on Reaction Rate lesson had been tested valid by experts of media and material with 90.13% mean percentage (very valid), and practical by 2 Chemistry subject teachers and 12 students with 91.41% mean percentage (very valid). Based on the result, it could be concluded that POE based Electronic Book on Reaction Rate lesson was valid and practical, so the next phase could be tested. Abstract

This research is motivated because the low scientific literacy of Indonesian students based on PISA. The purpose of this research in order to understand the influence of a Problem Based Learning (PBL) using Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) learning context on students’ scientific literacy abilities. This research was conducted at SMAN 28 Kabupaten. The method used in this study was quasi experimental design, with research design nonequivalent control group. Population of this study were all the student of XI science classes. The data were collected through essay test consisting of 13 items related to scientific literacy abilities. The data obtained were analyze by independent sample t-test. The test result of independent sample t-test show sig < 0,05 at significance 5%, then H1 is accepted. The result indicated that Problem Based Learning (PBL) using Socio Scientific Issues (SSI) learning context had a significance effect on students’ scientific literacy abilities in acid base topic. Abstract

One of the factors directly related to learning activities that affects the level of students' scientific literacy is the use of textbooks. Given the importance of mastering the ability of scientific literacy by students, the learning process of students needs to be supported by the use of textbooks that are able to provide science literacy content. The purpose of this research to know the science literacy level on chemistry textbook for 11th grade XI based on indicators of science literacy. The indicators are knowledge of science, investigative nature of science, science as the way of thinking, and interaction among science, technology and society. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The analyzed books were books that used in State Senior High School in Bogor country. The instruments used is observation sheet containing an analysis table of science literacy indicators. The result of the research is showed the level of science literacy that apperas is 45,51% for knowledge of science indicator, 41,03% for investigative nature of science indicator, 8,33% for science as the way of thinking indicator, and 5,13% for interaction among science, technology and society indicator. From the result, it can be conclude that, generally, the chemistry textbook for 11th grade State Senior High School that analyzed more present knowledge of science and less present science as the way of thinking. Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan berdasarkan pentingnya penilaian berbasis online di abad ke-21dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi Quizizz sebagai media penilaian online berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem periodik unsur. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 2 dan X IPA 5 di SMAN 1 Tangerang Selatan sebanyak 84 orang. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah quasi experiment dengan nonequivalent control group design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Quizizz sebagai media penilaian online memberikan hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan metode paper test. Abstract

Student misconception is one of the important concerns in educational research because it is disturbing students to understand the scientific concepts in learning. Misconceptions often occur in Chemistry learning, one of them on the concept of Buffer Solution. This study aims to identify students' misconception on the concept of Buffer Solution using Four-Tier Multiple-Choice (4TMC) test instrument in SMA Negeri South of Tangerang. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The study was conducted on 07 August to 05 September 2019. The subjects of this study are the students of XII grade MIPA program in SMA Negeri South of Tangerang academic year 2019/2020 with the number of samples 134 students taken from four classes using the technique of Cluster Random Sampling. The research data was obtained from the students' answers on the 4TMC test questions. The data is processed based on the pattern of student answers are then grouped into the category of student understanding that is misconception, lack of knowledge, error, and understand the concept. The results showed that there was a misconception with a percentage (48,51%), and significant misconceptions identified in 2 of 5 subconcepts of Buffer Solution investigated, they are the subconcept of Buffer Solution Calculation (14.92%), The Role Of Buffer Solutions In The Body Of Living Things (15.67%). The result of the identification of student misconception is expected to identify misconceptions that occur in the students to be handled more quickly so as not to impede the students in learning. Abstract

This study aims to examine the feasibility of interactive multimedia by stimulating spatial-visual intelligence in terms of validity in covalent bonding material. This research refers to the Research and Development model according to Sugiyono's model which is only limited to design revisions. The validity results obtained interactive multimedia on covalent bonding material consisting of material that is in accordance with the curriculum and the material in accordance with learning material that has an average value of 80.00% validity with valid criteria. While the construct validity which consists of media indicators as multimedia, interactivity, the ability to stimulate visual intelligence, spatial competitiveness contributes to the average validity percentage of 81.33%, 82.22%, and 86.67%. Abstract

This study aimed to determine student’s knowledge and science competence based on socio-scientific issues (SSI) of colloidal system material. A total of 313 class XII students in four schools representing South Tangerang City High School participated in this study. Sampling was done using cluster random sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with survey research. The instruments used were 22 essay questions. The obtained quantitative data were analyzed by scoring and converted into percentages. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the scientific literacy ability of students on aspects of science knowledge and competence is in quite good category with the percentage of achievement obtained respectively at 58.39% and 57.89%.
