Abstract

Salah satuf aktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya produksi kedelai adalah karena rendahnya produktivitas tanaman sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi kedelai, salah satunya dengan pemangkasan pucuk dan pemberian pupuk kimia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemangkasan pucuk dan pemberian pupuk kimia terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan tanaman kedelai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah plastik di Desa Demangan Kecamatan Sambi Kabupaten Boyolali pada bulan Februari sampai Mei 2022. Rancangan lapangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama, pemangkasan pucuk : tanpa pangkas pucuk, pemangkasan pucuk fase vegetatif V2, pangkasan pucuk fase vegetatif V5, pemangkasan pucuk fase generatif R1. Faktor kedua, takaran aplikasi pupuk kimia dengan 50%,75%, dan 100%. Parameter yang diamati adalah Indeks Luas Daun, Durasi Luas Daun, Laju Asimilasi Bersih, dan Laju Pertumbuhan Tanaman, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa waktu yang paling menguntungkan untuk pemangkasan pucuk kedelai adalah pada saat fase generatif awal atau saat tanaman mulai berbunga (Fase R1). Pemangkasan pucuk berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah polong hampa, sedangkan komponen hasil lainnya tidak. Dosis pupuk kimia tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil panen kedelai. Interaksi pemangkasan pucuk fase R1 dan aplikasi pupuk kimia 100% adalah yang paling menguntungkan

Abstract

The aim of organic farming are to make high-quality and nutritious products, safeguarding environmental health, and sustainable soil ecosystems. SOP-GAP is a right and proper way to raising land, the selection of seeds, fertilizer, pesticides, tools, planting, plant maintenance, fertilizing, irrigation, controlling organisms that annoy plants, and harvesting. The purpose of the study is to identify the relationship between the economic conditions of farmers and the implementation of SOP-inbakes in the village of Senden, Selo district, Boyolali. This “Argoayuningtani” Farmer Group has received a certificate from the office of the Seloliman certification (LESOS) and has received a certificate consistently meeting the requirements of the SOP sni manual and Internal Control System (ICS). documents The analytical methods used were the formulas for values calculations, the spearman ratio correlation, and the testing of hypotheses. Based on the appraisal of the value for polite application, a value of 77.06 percent would be included in a high percentage. From the calculation of a correlation of the rating between the economic condition of the farmers and the implementation of sop-gap, it is known that the value of rho < 0.05, which indicates that there is a correlation between the farmer's socioeconomic conditions and the implementation of SOP-GAP. Then the corelation value varies between 0,440-0,923, which means it has a moderate, strong, and very strong corelation. From tha analysis, there are several unrelated socio-economic factors, including farming experience with pesticides, and land ownership with land cultivation, selection of seeds, fertilizers, presticides, planting, plant maintenance, irrigation, cultivation, and harvesting.

Abstract

The obstacle in producing cayenne pepper plants is the decreasing level of soil fertility caused by the continuous use of inorganic fertilizers, decreased agricultural land productivity and environmental pollution. To overcome these obstacles, efforts can be made to increase the yield of cayenne pepper plants, namely by improving cultivation techniques through fertilizing with organic fertilizers such as cow compost and PGPR. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness and best dose of compost and PGPR fertilizer application on cayenne pepper plants. The research started from October to December 2023, and was carried out on community land in Landungsari Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang Regency, East Java Province, with an altitude of ± 540-700 meters above sea level. The research was carried out using Factorial RAK with two factors and 3 replications. Factor 1, namely cow dung compost which consists of 3 levels: 0; 7.5; and 10 tonnes/ha. Factor 2, namely PGPR consists of 3 levels: 0; 300; and 450 ml/tan. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per plant, production yield and disease resistance. The results of the research showed that there was an interaction between the treatment of cow compost 10 tonnes/ha and PGPR 450 ml/tan on the observation parameters of plant height aged 7, 14 and 28 dap, number of fruit and weight of the second harvest at 77 dap, and disease attacks. The best dose was found in the K2P2 treatment (Compost 10 tonnes/ha + PGPR 450 ml/plant), with plant height of 26.23 cm, flowering age of 34.33 DAP, number of fruit of 70.53, fruit weight of 67. 27 grams and production of 2,415 tons/ha. Diseases that attack cayenne pepper plants are leaf curl and fusarium wilt. Giving PGPR 450 ml/tan can suppress leaf curl disease attacks by 6.67% when compared to the control treatment of 46.67%. Meanwhile, fusarium wilt disease when given PGPR 450 ml/tan was 0.00% compared to the control treatment of 33.33%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bahan baku dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang panjang pada budidaya hidroponik sistem tetes. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Mayang, Kecamatan Gatak, Kabupaten Sukoharjo pada bulan April sampai Mei 2024 dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAKL) dengan 2 faktor yaitu bahan baku pupuk organik cair dan konsentrasi pemberian POC. Faktor pertama yaitu bahan baku pupuk organik cair terdiri dari 3 taraf batang pisang, jerami, alang-alang. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi pupuk organik cair terdiri dari 4 taraf: 1,5%, 2%, 2,5%, 3%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak berbeda nyata pada parameter pertumbuhan meliputi tinggi tanaman, hari berbunga, berat brangkasan segar dan berat brangkasan kering, maupun parameter hasil meliputi bahan jumlah polong, panjang polong dan berat polong. Berat per polong terbaik adalah interaksi bahan baku alang-alang dengan konsentrasi 2% (P3K2) sebesar 85,66 gram.

Abstract

Temperatur udara termasuk dalam komponen iklim mikro yang berpengaruh temperatur air hidroponik. Petani hidroponik mengatasi temperatur air yang tinggi dengan menggunakan paranet, peletakan tandon di dalam tanah, atau melindungi tandon dari sinar matahari untuk menjaga air tetap dingin. Beberapa penelitian mengaplikasikan sistem otomatis untuk mengatur temperatur air hidroponik. Namun, peralatan yang digunakan cukup rumit dan mahal sehingga perlu alternatif yang dapat diterapkan petani dengan mudah dan terjangkau. Penggunaan water heater sebagai pengatur temperatur air akuarium banyak digunakan tetapi hasil riset pada tanaman hidroponik masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan data dan informasi pertumbuhan serta hasil panen berdasarkan perbedaan temperatur air hidroponik yang diatur menggunakan water heater. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 9 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan menggunakan sistem Nutrient Film Technique (NFT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa water heater tidak mampu mempertahankan temperatur air sesuai perlakuan yang ditentukan (22, 24, 26 dan 28°C). Temperatur air yang relatif seragam (29.54 – 30.42°C) dapat menghasilkan berat segar serta berat kering tanaman dan akar yang berbeda. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kondisi temperatur air (temperatur daerah akar) dan udara yang seimbang, mampu menghasilkan berat segar tanaman yang maksimal.

Abstract

Household waste is a major problem in Semanggi Mojo, Surakarta. This densely populated region faces challenges in waste processing, but composting can reduce them. This research aims to measure the level of knowledge of the community in Semanggi Mojo, Pasar Kliwon District regarding the practice of independent waste composting and the relationship between this knowledge and the amount of household waste in the area. This research was conducted using a survey method, the research location was deliberately determined in Semanggi Mojo, Pasar Kliwon District, Surakarta City. The total research sample was 51 respondents. Sample determination was carried out using a proportional random method. Data collection was carried out in August-September 2023. The results showed that X2 (Skills) and X3 (Economy) had a relationship with Y (Amount of Waste), while other variables were not related. Public awareness of waste composting is quite good, with skills reflecting the ability to manage waste and economic problems related to management. Social and cultural factors also influence household waste management.

Abstract

Lettuce vegetable production increased during 2015-2018, but there are several cultivation constraints, especially in the lowlands, which can result in decreased crop quality. The use of mulch, particularly rice straw and rice husk, was identified as an imporplantt strategy to increase and maintain soil moisture. Rice straw mulch and rice husk, not only inhibits weed growth, but also increases the value of agricultural waste, and contains soil organic matter. The aim of this study is to investigate and undersplantd the impact of different levels of straw and rice husk mulch thickness on the growth and yield of red lettuce plants. The research was conducted from March to May 2024. The research was carried out in Pandanwangi sub-district, Blimbing District, Malang City, East Java Province. The research was conducted using a non-factorial design method and was designed using a Randomized Block Design. The research consisted of 7 treatments and was repeated 4 times. The results showed that the 6 cm rice husk mulch treatment gave higher plant height, number of leaves and dry weight compared to the treatment without mulch. The treatment of 4 cm thick rice straw mulch and 6 cm rice husk produced fresh weight of consumption of 15.25 and 17.26 t ha-1, respectively, 24.49 and 40.89% higher than the treatment without mulch.

Abstract

Penggunaan fly ash batu bara belum banyak digunakan dalam budidaya pertanian. Fly ash ash dapat digunakan sebagai bahan amelioran tanah yang dapat dikombinasikan dengan pupuk guano, sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea mays L. Saccharata Sturt). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kombinasi fly ash dan pupuk guano paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman Jagung Manis pada tanah Ultisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan milik Perusahaan Percetakan Uang Republik Indonesia (PERURI) pada bulan November 2023 sampai Januari tahun 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktor tunggal dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 36 unit percobaan terdiri dari : A (Kontrol), B (Pupuk Guano 6 ton/ha), C (Pupuk Guano 12 ton/ha), D (Fly ash 15 ton/ha), E (Fly ash 15 ton/ha + Pupuk Guano 6 ton/ha), F (Fly ash 15 ton/ha + Pupuk Guano 12 ton/ha), G(Fly ash 20 ton/ha), H(Fly ash 20 ton/ha + Pupuk Guano 6 ton/ha), I (Fly ash 20 ton/ha + Pupuk Guano 12 ton/ha), J (Fly ash 25 ton/ha), K (Fly ash 25 ton/ha + Pupuk Guano 6 ton/ha), L (Fly ash 25 ton/ha + Pupuk Guano 12 ton/ha). Hasil percobaan akan diuji dengan uji F, apabila berpengaruh nyata maka akana diuji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perlakuan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman. Perlakuan L (fly ash 25 ton/ha dan pupuk guano 12 ton/ha) memberikan hasil tertinggi untuk tinggi tanaman (199,2 cm), jumlah daun (14 helai), dan diameter batang (29,60 cm).

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kelompok tani terhadap produktivitas komoditas bawang merah. Pada penelitian ini peran kelompok tani dibagi menjadi tiga yaitu (1). ruang belajar, (2). tempat kerjasama dan (3). unit produksi. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Kelompok Tani Agroayuningtani, Kecamatan Selo, Kabupaten Boyolali. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasi dan kualitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan cara sensus dari seluruh anggota kelompok tani. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa peran kelompok tani sebagai tempat kerjasama (2) dan unit produksi (3) memiliki hubungan yang paling kuat dengan produktivitas bawang merah. Sedangkan peran kelompok tani sebagai ruang belajar (1) memiliki hubungan sedang dengan produktivitas. Bentuk kerjasama dan unit produksi yang dijalankan di lokasi penelitian salah satunya melalui penyaluran subsidi input dan penyedia bibit untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kelompok tani sangat berperan penting dalam menentukan produktivitas hasil bawang merah

Abstract

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is a vital food crop in Indonesia's economy. It is grown in both irrigated and rainfed rice fields. However, rainfed rice fields have low nutrient content, requiring significant fertilization. To reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers, agricultural technological advancements are necessary, including the use of endophytic bacteria. The research aimed to assess the impact of an endophytic bacterial consortium on rice rooting and yield under various nitrogen and phosphorus doses in suboptimal rainfed land. The study was conducted in Demangan Village, Sambi District, Boyolali Regency, from March 2023 to June 2023, using a factorial Complete Group Design. The research consisted of two factors , each repeated three times. The first factor was nitrogen fertilizer, with four levels: no urea, 100 kg/ha urea, 200 kg/ha urea, and 300 kg/ha urea. The second factor iwas phosphorus fertilizer, with four levels,: no phosphorus, 80 kg/ha phosphorus, 160 kg/ha phosphorus, and 240 kg/ha phosphorus. The observed parameters included fresh root weight, dry root weight, root volume, root length, root diameter, root surface area, weight of 1000 grains, grain weight per plant, and grain weight per plot. The results revealed no significant effects of nitrogen, doses, phosphorus doses, or interactions between nitrogen and phosphorus doses on any of the observed parameters. In conclusion, the application of an endophytic bacterial consortium can reduce the need for nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers in rainfed rice fields.
