Abstract

Penciteraan suatu destinasi erat kaitannya dengan ketersediaan 4 A di suatu destinasi yang merupakan atribut menarik yang dimiliki,yang berperan menarik wisatawan untuk berkunjung. Keberadaan atribut destinasi merupakan reaksi yang terjadi akibat adanya permintaan yang direspon melalui penawaran. Merupakan tugas pemasar dalam memahami kebutuhan wisatawan tersebut untuk dipenuhi melalui pengembangan produk dengan pendesainan yang otentik bekerja sama dengan pihak pengusaha untuk mempehitungkan kebutuhan wisatawan. Permintaan wisata spiritual semakin bertambah, dan ini peluang bagi Bali untuk siap dalam menawaran kegiatan wisata sejenis dengan dukungkan dari keberadaan atribut pendukungnya.

Abstract

Polytechnic as a higher educational institution trains students to be capable of becoming independent human. It is also responsible for equipping students with competence to compete in the workplace. Sport serves as a means of character and life skills development in students. It is well supported by the infrastructure management in Polytechnic. Based on the formulation of the problem mentioned above, the general purpose of this study is to determine the effect of infrastructure management on sports development in the State Polytechnic of Bandung. This study employed quantitative approach with survey method to obtain data from questionnaires and physical fitness test. The participants of the study are 77 students from two state polytechnics in Bandung. The result from data processing and analysis showed that 95.7% of sports participation rate is influenced by infrastructure management and the rest of 4.35 is influenced by other unexplainable variables, which means that facility and infrastructure management give positive influence on sports participation. In addition, other results showed that 93.0% of physical fitness figures are influenced by infrastructure management and 7.0% is influenced by other unexplainable variable, which means that infrastructure gives significant influence on physical fitness. It shows that if sports infrastructure is managed well, then it will greatly influence sports development.

Abstract

The research was inspired by the increasing number of competition among Tourist Destination or DTW in Badung because nearly all areas have a beautiful nature, a remarkable cultural heritage, and hospitality of its people is quite a potential tourist attraction. Badung has the potential diverse tourist attractions, agro tourism in the North and beach tourism in the Southern areas. Pandava beach is one of the tourist areas in the village of Kutuh. The purpose of this research are to investigate what factors are considered by tourists visiting the Pandava Beach and Which is the most dominant Factor into consideration of domestic tourists visiting the Pandava Beach. The determination of the criteria of research from respondents uses a Likert scale to measure the nature, the opinions and perceptions of a person or a group of people about a social phenomenon with a number of sample as many as 85 people. Analytical tool used in this study is the analysis of the factor with the help of SPSS version. 17. From the test results of the four factors influencing tourists to visit the Pandavas Beach: beach beauty and strategic location, which is composed of natural beaches, recreational facilities, recreational facilities and the condition of its strategic location; Price and access to the beach Pandavas, which consists of the price of food and beverages, recreation rents, large parking area, access to which is smooth, safe and friendly community; Responsiveness and hygiene, the variables that make up the service guides are good, responsive coast guard, coastal environmental hygiene; Promotions and services, which consists of a variable where to eat in coastal areas, promotion and service personnel, it was found that the most dominant factor affecting the interest of tourists to visit the beach Pandavas are factors beach beauty and strategic location. It can be seen from the eigenvalues value equal to 7.704 which is the highest value of the total value of eigen value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bentuk-bentuk ungkapan perintah bahasa Jepang dalam teks percakapan Yan-san to Nihon no Hitobito (1994), Minna no Nihon-go (1999), dan Erin (2009). Penelitian ini menerapkan teori tindak tutur tentang tindak tutur dalam praktik penggunaan bahasa dan teori kesantunan berbahasa, Sementara itu, analisis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif dan penyajian tabel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa bentuk ungkapan perintah bahasa Jepang yang digunakan oleh penutur pada ketiga sumber data tersebut terdiri dari kata seru, kata benda, kata sifat, kata keterangan, dan kata kerja. Bentuk-bentuk ungkapan perintah bahasa Jepang tersebut dituturkan dalam tuturan ungkapan perintah bahasa Jepang kasar, biasa, sopan, dan halus. Pengkajian bentuk-bentuk ungkapan perintah bahasa Jepang mengacu pada apa yang dikemukakan Kashiwazaki (1993: 32-34). Penggunaan tuturan ungkapan perintah bahasa Jepang oleh penutur membuat mitra tutur tidak mempunyai pilihan untuk menolak permintaan penutur, membuat keuntungan bagi penutur dan mitra tutur, memberi keuntungan hanya bagi penutur, dan membuat keuntungan hanya bagi mitra tutur.

Abstract

The educational policy in higher vocational education particularly aims at accommodating the workplace requirements both in the area of practical and soft skills. Self-management, collaborative skill and problem solving are among sought-after soft skills needed to be acquired by the students. Project-based learning provides the incorporation of those skills as it involves series of phases which require students to perform self-directed or autonomous learning. This article presents results of the study concerning the impact of project-based learning implementation to students’ writing achievement. Participants were 64 second semester students from three different classes enrolled in a three-year undergraduate program in Informatics Management. Students were involved in series of project-based learning phases until the final products, i.e., essay with multiple effects and infographic were uploaded into students’ social media account. This classroom action research applied quantitative design and the data including pre-test and post-test scores were analyzed using SPSS statistic 21. Paired-sample t-test was used to analyze whether or not there was a significant difference in students’ English writing achievement before and after being taught using PBL. The study revealed that students gained higher mean score in their second essay and there was a strong impact of PBL in improving students’ achievement in writing. Considering the positive result of this study, PBL is recommended to be applied in teaching English for students in higher vocational education as it gives beneficial impact on students’ content learning and soft skills.

Abstract

Dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris, mahasiwa membutuhkan sebuah metode yang efektif yang bisa membantu mereka mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Pengajar memberikan sebuah metode yang efektif yang bisa mempermudah mereka dalam belajar. Penulis tertarik dengan sebuah metode yaitu metode mind mapping, yaitu sebuah metode pemetaan pikiran yang bisa diterapkan pada mahasiswa.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pemberian metode mind mapping ini berpengaruh terhadap nilai presentasi mahasiswa. Adapun yang dijadikan objek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester VII kelas A D4 Manajemen Proyek Konstruksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan statistik. Dari olah data yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian mind mapping dalam pembelajaran membawa pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan presentasi bahasa Inggris mahasiswa. Ini ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan presentasi bahasa Inggris sesudah pemberian mind mapping yakni masing-masing sebesar 79,65 dengan standar deviasi 5,86 dan sebesar 77.00 dengan standar deviasi sebesar 4,79

Abstract

This study was answering some questions about the obstacles encountered by the students in studying English, concerning motivation and support by the parents for their children in studying English, the constraints faced by the English teachers at school and the conditions of English teaching facilities and other supports. On the basis of data processing and analysis the following conclusion can be drawn: (a) The students face any significant obstacles. Although most of them admitted that English was difficult subject, they said that their English was good enough. (b) On the whole, their parents gave their children not enough motivation. However, the facilities for the teaching and learning were not adequate. (c) Not all of the teachers had a syllabus, 4 out 6 of the respondents said that they had difficulty in understanding and translating general educational objectives into specific educational objectives. All of the teachers had English education background. However,experiences in participating in training on the teaching and learning process and syllabus were insufficient. (d) All of the school had libraries, but they had not yet had language laboratory facilities (they were still making an effort to make them available).

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari Buku Ajar Bahasa Inggris Terapan berbasis kompetensi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada program studi D4 Akuntansi Politeknik Negeri Bali. Sebagai sampelnya dipilih dua kelas yang mahasiswanya memperoleh hasil pretes yang hampir sama. Mahasiswa itu dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil pretes ini juga sekaligus digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya buku ajar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan ini, penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian post tes control group design. Data berupa hasil belajar bahasa Inggris selama eksperimen diperoleh dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa tes. Hasil tes selama eksperimen kemudian dihitung dan dibandingkan dengan hasil pretes untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari buku aja. Untuk mengetahui signifikansi efektifitas, hasil perhitungan ini dimasukan kedalam tabel kontingensi 2 x 2 lalu diuji dengan Chi Kwadrat dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05.. Hasil uji Chi Kwadrat menunjukkan bahwa nilai x2 lebih tinggi dari pada nilai kritis x2. Nilai x2 hasil uji Chi Kwadrat adalah 7,487 sedangkan nilai kritis x2 pada tarap signifikansi 5% adalah 3,841. Hal ini berarti bahwa buku ajar secara signifikan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris mahasiswa.

Abstract

Communication is a form of interaction between the communicator and the communicant, requiring certain media in order for the message to be conveyed well. Kulkul as a communication medium has a significant role and several functions as a means to unite the community. For the people of Bali, kulkul has a high spirit of togetherness. Every time the sound of kulkul is heard, the residents will be present at the place previously agreed upon. With the power of its sound, kulkul is able to create unwritten rules. It is obeyed by all members of the community. It does not matter whether they are officials, farmers, caste people or ordinary people, all of them have to gather when they hear kulkul. This is because the sound of kulkul is a significant order that must be obeyed by the members of the community. The development and advancement of information and communication technologies in various forms of digital media, which make all activities more effective and efficient cause kulkul function as a traditional communication medium in an intense pressure from electronic media. Abstract

An understanding of cohesion and coherence greatly helps one writer in writing a good and correct discourse. In theory, cohesion and coherence are different, but after practicing these terms it is quite difficult to distinguish. Therefore, it is very important to do real action, namely learning to master the language, especially writing, through regular training and continuous. So there are two things that are necessary to achieve the writing skill of writing knowledge and practicing writing because writing is an integrated language skill aimed at producing something called writing. In the discourse, in addition to the presence of marker cohesion, also tucked in support of keherensi. A discourse does not have to be explicitly loading a grammatical tool (conjunction) that can connect one idea in other words, the logical relationship between the parts in the discourse can be created without the grammatical tool.
