Abstract

The materialists tried to convince others that the cause of the growth and prevalence of materialism during the 18th and 19th centuries was the emergence of scientific theories and that it was the spread of science and technology that resulted in humanity being attracted in that direction. Muthahhari rejected this view. The growth of science or education has nothing to do with materialism. Materialism took the form of a school of thought during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It was then that materialist ideas took the form of ideologies and many embraced them eagerly.

Abstract

The general objective of this analysis is to identify Imam Al-Ghazali's definition of Islamic religious education. The specific objective of this analysis is to understand al-Ghazali's views on science and Islamic educational theory. Study. The literature review method is used in this literature research, which includes theories related to the conditions of analysis. This structure of analysis conveys that happiness in the world and beyond can be obtained from knowledge. When compared to other creatures, science will change humans to create noble and dignified individuals. Al-Ghazali's views on the idea of Islamic education. First, the educational aspects of Islamic education, namely a) the Qur'an and Hadith are used as the main educational foundation because the main goal of education is the happiness of the world and the hereafter; b) An educator must have the initial goal of bringing students closer to God, being an example for them, and proficient in teaching; c) Students must study with the intention of getting closer to Allah, refraining from committing crimes because insight is pure and does not need to be conveyed to the immoral, respecting mentors, and diligently seeking knowledge through studying the knowledge conveyed; d) The study program as a means of teaching must be balanced through the individual needs of students; e) Students must avoid negative friendships because negative areas will have an impact on their development, especially in the family, school or community environment. Second, the development of educational organizations that incorporate elements of Islamic education into their study programs, such as midday prayers, reading the holy verses, and congregational prayers mark the implementation of educational values from al-Ghazali's point of view in the modern era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ekspresi beragama yang dilakukan kaum milenial yang tergabung dalam komunitas Majelis Rasulullah Provinsi Lampung. Penilitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian lapangan (field research) yang datanya diperoleh dari literatur dan wawancara langsung dengan pengurus Majelis Rasulullah Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Majelis Rasulullah Lampung merupakan komunitas yang berisi kumpulan umat Islam Bumi Ruwa Jurai. Dalam beragama, mereka berpaham Ahlus Sunah Wal Jamaah. Praktik keagamaan mereka tidak mengarah kepada ekstrimisme dan radikalisme. Di bawah kepemimpinan Habib Abdurrahman bin Ahmad Alydrus, baik pengurus dan anggota selalu menjaga ukhuwah Islamiah. Dalam dakwah, mereka mengutamakan cinta dan kasih sayang, melembutkan hati dan keluhuran budi pekerti, menggunakan metode dakwah bil lisan berupa ceramah, tabligh, khutbah baik di mimbar maupun melalui media sosial. Dalam setiap majelisnya selalu menanamkan nilai-nilai kebaikan seperti cinta kepada Allah dan Rasul, berbakti kepada orang tua, moderat dalam beragama dan mempererat persaudaraan.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state . Character is the universal valuesof human behavior that includes all human activities, both in the context of relating to God, with oneself, with fellow humans, as well as with the environment, which are manifested in thoughts, attitudes, feelings, words, and actions based on norms. Religious norms, laws, etiquette, culture, and customs of Madrasas play a role in producing students who are smart in science, but also in character and personality. Through the example of Islamic figures and scholars discussed in Islamic Cultural History learning, especially the patience, persistence, and fortitude of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, his companions, scholars, and great figures in Islam so that some characters are built for students such as: religious, honest, disciplined, responsible, independent, social care and hard work.

Abstract

Some assumptions regarding high-level thinking are something that allows it to be obtained. In fact, this ability cannot be obtained, but must be trained and applied repeatedly. In this article, the ability to think at a high level is connected with several approaches, namely philosophical, pedagogical, psychological, and social. The culmination of higher-order thinking skills is being able to communicate well with society. this preposition is based on the findings of an analysis that leads to the ability of humans to classify and overcome problems. Psychologically, the ability to think high helps humans in determining the right decisions in taking actions.

Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia sangat terkenal dengan adat istiadat dan kebudayaanya. Dalam segala aspek kehidupan baik berkaitan dengan ritual ibadah atau ritual muamalah apapun sangat erat sekali kaitanya dengan adat istiadat yang sudah ada secara turun temurun diwariskan oleh nenek moyang bangsa Indonesia. Terutama masyarakat Jawa yang sangat erat dengan adat istiadat dan budaya yang telah dianutnya. Sebagai contoh adat istiadat yang masih terjaga sampai saat ini adalah menetukan hari baik melangsungkan akad nikah menggunakan metode perhitungan hari pasaran yang berkaitan dengan hari lahir (weton) pasangan calon pengantin. Hal demikian jika dikaitkan dengan pernikahan didalam Islam seringkali menimbulkan polemik terkait hukum menentukan hari baik pernikahan berdasarkan rumus hitungan Jawa.

Abstract

Soroush is a Muslim and comes from a society where political discourse and political debate are still struggling to resolve religious relations with politics and therefore the types of arguments and concerns he gives to secular liberal democracy mainly come from that background. Moreover, the implication of Soroush's political theory is that God was ruled out, not because of social evolution and the ability of human beings to manage their lives based on his own knowledge and collective rational consensus, but by deliberate political decisions to expel him from sociopolitical life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana integrasi islam dan sains dalam ranah ayat-ayat muzizat. Sejauh ini, telah banyak ilmuwan yang berusaha mengharmoniskan Islam dengan Sains, sebut saja Nidhal Guessoum, Ian Barbour, dan Maurice Bucaille. Terlepas dari segala kontroversinya, penulis berusaha memperkaya diskursus dalam bidang tersebut. Metode dalam kajian ini adalah riset pustaka dengan pendekatan tafsir maudui. Pendekatan tafsir maudui merupakan metode tafsir yang berusaha mencari jawaban al-Qur'an dengan cara mengumpulkan ayat-ayat al-Qur'an yang mempunyai tujuan yang sama. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh dianalisi mengunakan analisis isi. Beberapa poin penting dalam kajian ini adalah ayat-ayat sains memerlukan interpretasi dan pendekatan secara interdisipliner. Sebagaimana ayat yang menjelaskan tentang bahrain, membutuhkan pendekatan dan kepakaran dari bidang sains kelautan.

Abstract

The role of parents in educating their children is pivotal (highly important) and more specifically in cultivating the faith values. This article is intended to examine that individual faith values development and its responsibility on each stage by analyzing the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him (PBUH) which explain about the issue, and then describe and exemplify those faith values activities that could be done by parents on each individual development stage. Maudhu'i method is used to completely examine this issue.
