Abstract

Lectures are not simply about listening, reading and writing. Lectures need many things to achieve goals, including learning methods and learning motivation given by lecturers,such as the lecturer of Fundamental Physics. This subject needs a practice to help with the implementation of Physics and needs learning motivation that can encourage students to attend the lectures effectively. Some researches have been conducted on the effect of virtual physics simulation learning method and the provision of learning motivation on the Physics learning achievement. the research is conducted on first-level students of Informatics in a private University in Jakarta. The research uses an experimental treatment method by level 2x2. Through virtual simulation learning method, it is expected that the comprehension of Fundamental Physics materials can improve in line with student’s learning motivation. The result of the research shows that the virtual physics simulation learning method can be used as an alternative to Physics Practice and that the learning motivation has an effecton the Fundamental Physics learning achievement.

Abstract

The teacher-centered learning in universities has been no longer inadequate and must be changed to the student-centered learning. There have been lately many easily accessible social media such as Facebook, Twitter, line, Instagram, Edmodo, and others. Those media can be used for educational purposes. The social media to be used in this research is Edmodo. The research is carried out to know the positive effect of the application of Edmodo social media on the results of basic physics learning. The research is conducted on first-year students of the 2018/2019 academic year at Universitas Indraprasta PGRI. The researcher uses a quantitative research method and a classical experimental design. The data analysis technique used is the Independent sample t-test using the SPSS 18. The research hypothesis to be tested is there is a positive effect on the application of Edmodo social media on the results of basic physics learning. The calculation results of the research have a sig value of 0.00 <0.05, indicating that there is a positive effect of the application of Edmodo social media on the results of basic physics learning. In conclusion, the results of the research show that there is a positive effect of the application of Edmodo social media on the results of basic physics learning

Abstract

Salah satu cara peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yaitu dengan peningkatan relevansi model mengajar. Model mengajar dikatakan relevan jika dalam prosesnya mampu mengantarkan siswa mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk dapat menyampaikan materi pelajaran kepada siswa dengan model yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Salah satu alternatif, yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Jigsaw. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 6 Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Bentuk desain quasi eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Metro yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu hasil t_hitung>t_tabel yaitu 1,870> 1,701. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 6 Metro.

Abstract

Producing qualified learners is inseparable part of education center we know by the term three centers of education; namely home education, school education, and environmental education (community). The three centers of education must be mutually related (support each other) because it is difficult to produce quality learners without paying attention to the three education centers. However, from the three education centers, it is home education creating more astsar (impact) on thedevelopment of learners. In Islamic terms, the activity of educating children is called hadhanah. Hadhanah is love of Allah for His servants by taking care of children who are born from the mother's womb. Parenting is one of manifestation of the various forms of glory Allah has given to humans who are the most glorious beings and is His gift to mankind not given to any other creature. This study istitled "Hadhanah in Religion (Parenting Rights in a home education sector)". The purpose of this study is to find out how a religion gives a concept of parenting so that the children get their full rights, namely getting physical and spiritual education from his parents. The qualitative method used in writing this study explores the concepts of parenting.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to study: 1) how prospective mathematics teachers plan character education in learning; 2) how prospective mathematics teachers carry out character education in learning; 3) how prospective mathematics teachers assess character education in learning. The research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects are IKIP PGRI Pontianak teachers, especially those in Mathematics Education study program. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that. 1) Prospective mathematics teachers plan well the character education, internalize it in the KKNI curriculum and design it according to the indicators set in the SNP-PT guidelines. 2) Prospective mathematics teachers carry out well the character education. 3) Prospective mathematics teachers assess very well the character education as an improvement in character in the study program environment

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini di antaranya untuk mengetahui hubungan antara minat belajar siswa dan prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia, mengetahui hubungan antara upaya guru dalam memotivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia, dan mengetahui hubungan minat belajar siswa dan upaya guru dalam memotivasi belajar siswa secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei. Sampel berjumlah 78 siswa yamg dipilih dengan teknik gabungan antara acak dan proporsional. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakn kuesioner, yaitu denagan skala Likert dan menggunakan teks dalam soal pilihan ganda. Siswa diminta memilih pernyataan yang sesuai dengan yang mereka alami dengan memilih SS untuk sangat setuju, S untuk setuju, R untuk ragu-ragu, TS untuk tidak setuju, dan STS untuk sangat tidak setuju. Soal untuk kuesioner minat belajar berjumlah 30 soal dan soal untuk motivasi belajar berjumlah 15 soal. Setelah dianalisis maka dihasilkan bahwa semakin baik persepsi atas upaya guru dalam memotivasi belajar siswa diikuti oleh semakin baiknya prestasi belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sampel siswa kelas XI sekolah menengah pertama swasta di Depok, yaitu SMP Gelora Depok.

Abstract

The tourist attractions developed in Depok are not only nature and heritage tourism, but also artificial tourism. For example, Mosque of golden dome (masjid kubah emas) is used not just for place or worship, but it is also used by visitors as a religious tourism. The visitors’ great curiosity about this mosque makes it one of favorite tourism destinations of people in Depok and Jabodetabek. The research is aimed at identifying the concept of community participation in the development of artificial tourism in Meruyung subdistrict (2) the concept of tourism development in Meruyung and its effects on economic life of surrounding community. The research applies a qualitative approach. The samples are taken using snowball sampling, in which the subdistrict head of Meruyung becomes the main resource person. The existence of the mosque as a religious tourism is an added value that can be experienced by visitors during their visit. Many visitors come with different reasons such as 1) to direcly see the mosque with a gold-plated dome 2) to perform prayer, 3) to sightsee, 4) to see the mosque architecture. Visitors and community agree to call the mosque of golden dome a tourist site , as seen in the percentage of answers showing that 98% (18% strongly agree and 80% agree) of the community agrees to call it a tourist site, and 97% (12% strongly agree and 85% agree) of the community agrees to have made this mosque a place to earn income, as seen from the result of questionnaires distributed to local vendors showingthat they are given opportunity by local vendor management to sell things in the area of the mosque of golden dome.

Abstract

Perception is always related to the symptoms and experience. The more experience and knowledge a person gains, the more and more perceptions he has. In addition to science and experience, perceptions are also influenced by factors of needs and psychology. Thus, one's perception of education differs from one another. This research aims to explain the perceptions of parents in the process of child counseling at home. It is a qualitative research using data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of this research are poorly educated parents just pay little attention to the student’s learning guidance at home, resulting in many students showing little learning interest and dropping out of school. Students with highly educated parents are more lucky because the learning guidance can be obtained from their parents at home even though their parents’s activities at times become constraints.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besarkah pengaruh kedisiplinan siswa dan seberapa besar motivasi siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa SMK Swasta di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di tiga SMK Swasta, yaitu SMK Islam PB Soedirman 1, SMK Islam PB Soedirman 2, dan SMK Islam Malahayati Jakarta. Secara bersama-sama, kedisiplinan siswa dan motivasi belajar berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil pengujian signifikansi yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai Sig = 0.000 dan Fhitung = 22,841, sedangkan Ftabel = 3,06 sehingga nilai Sig < 0,05 dan Fhitung > Ftabel. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh koefisien korelasi ganda adalah 0,487. Kedisiplinan siswa dan motivasi belajar secara bersama-sama memiliki koefisien determinasi sebesar 23,7% terhadap variasi prestasi belajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui persamaan regresi ganda ? = 45,536 + 0,063X1 + 0,316X2 yang signifikan. Kedisiplinan siswa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil pengujian signifikansi diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 1,987 > 1,65 , nilai sig = 0,049 yang berarti < 0,05. Motivasi belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil pengujian signifikansi diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 4,814 > 1,65 , nilai sig = 0,00 yang berarti < 0,05.

Abstract

The research is aimed at showing the effects of parental attention and achievement motivation on physics learning achievement. The hypotheses are 1) there are joint effects of parental attention and achievement motivation on physics learning achievement, 2) there is an effect of parental attention on physics learning achievement, 3) there is an effect of achievement motivation on physics learning achievement. The method used in this research is a survey method with multiple regression analysis. The population is students of class XI IPA of 2016/2017 school year in SMA Negeri in Kramat Jati, with 74 students from 2 SMA Negeri taken as the sample by applying the random sampling technique. The data are collected by distributing questionnaires and examining first-semester reports. The technique used in the data analysis is multiple regression F-Test and T-test. The data requirement test includes five classic assumption tests. In conclusion, the data analysis result shows that 1) there are joint effects of parental attention and achievement motivation on physics learning achievement, as proven by the value of Sig = 0.000 and FObserved = 17.953, 2) there is an effect of parental attention on the physics learning achievement, as proven by the value of Sig = 0.037 and tObserved = 2.125 and 3) there is an effect of achievement motivation on physics learning achievement, as proven by the value of Sig = 0.000 and tObserved = 5.053.
