Abstract

Kemendikbud has been compiling e-books of folktales from various regions since 2016, which are used as media to enhance students' literacy skills of early childhood into high school levels. The aim of compiling these books is to introduce the diverse ethnicities, cultures, and languages of Indonesia to the younger generation. This cultural introduction in the education sphere is commonly referred to as multicultural education. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with discourse analysis of literacy using several e-books of folktales published by Kemendikbud. The study presents findings and observations regarding the variety of vocabulary and readability in these books. The analysis results indicate that, in terms of readability, some of the folktales published by Kemendikbud are suitable for the intended readership, while others are less suitable. This is evidenced by the Fry readability graphs of two different books. Meanwhile, concerning vocabulary diversity, there are elements of local culture and language incorporated, indicating that these folktale books support the implementation of multicultural education. The e-books as media and learning resources for students represent a manifestation of multicultural education. They serve as a means to introduce and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Indonesia, fostering an inclusive learning environment that respects and values different ethnicities, cultures, and languages.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low analytical skills of students in quantitative research, especially among those with low initial ability levels. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in enhancing students' analytical skills in quantitative research. The research was conducted on students enrolled in the quantitative research methods course during the 2023/2024 academic year in the Educational Administration Study Program at FKIP Universitas Jambi. The research methodology employed a Quasi-Experimental quantitative analysis. The results indicate that PjBL has a significantly positive impact on students' understanding and application of methodological concepts in research projects. Policy recommendations include integrating PjBL into the Quantitative Research Methods curriculum, training lecturers and teaching staff, developing relevant learning materials, and providing supportive facilities and resources. Continuous evaluation of PjBL implementation and dissemination of results and best practices are crucial to strengthening learning effectiveness. With these recommendations, it is expected that students will be better prepared to meet the increasingly complex demands of the workforce, equipped with strong analytical skills and the ability to independently apply quantitative research concepts.

Abstract

Scientific reasoning ability is an important aspect in learning so that students are able to apply the scientific method. In fact, research on students' scientific reasoning is still rare. STEM-PjBL is learning through projects to achieve certain results contextually by mastering several STEM concepts that are currently widely implemented. This research aims to analyze students' scientific reasoning ability in learning physics dynamic fluid material through the implementation of STEM-PJBL. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach carried out at SMAN 4 Jember in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 school year with a research population of one class XI. The subjects in this study amounted to 36 students who were divided into 6 groups. Scientific reasoning ability has six indicators that are measured during the learning process of dynamic fluid through STEM-PjBL. The results of this study indicate that the indicators that are categorized as very good are indicators of probabilistic reasoning and hypothesis-deductive reasoning. Indicators that are categorized as good include indicators of conservation reasoning, proportional reasoning, and correlation reasoning. The indicator that is categorized as very poor is the variable control indicator. This shows that students' scientific reasoning ability can be analyzed with the STEM-PjBL model. With STEM-PjBL, most students' scientific reasoning skills are good. However, it needs to be improved again, especially in the ability to control variables.

Abstract

This article aims to test and determine the effectiveness of the PjBL (Project-Based Learning) model in enhancing the creative thinking ability of class V students in learning IPAS in Elementary Schools. This research uses quantitative methods with pre-experimental type One Group Pretest - Posttest Design designs. The sample selected for this study was a student of V class SDN Z City of Tasikmalaya of 30 students who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The study uses a test-shaped instrument with an open description of 15 questions in the form of a pretest and a posttest. Further, the data analysis is carried out through statistical tests of validity, reliability, normality, paired sample t-test, and n-gain. Based on the data obtained, the test instruments used in this study are valid and have a very high level of reliability. Based on the results, the project-based learning model is effective in improving creative thinking ability in learning IPAS students in the fifth grade of Elementary School.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the religious activity strategies implemented at SMKN 4 Malang to form students' religious character. Using a qualitative approach, this research examines various aspects of strategies involving a holistic approach, active student participation, innovation in learning, collaboration with parents and the community, strengthening ethics and morals, as well as continuous monitoring and evaluation. The research was conducted using descriptive analytical research with qualitative research, while for data collection techniques, the researcher used observation and interview methods. The research results show that SMKN 4 Malang has succeeded in combining these elements to create an integrated approach to forming students' religious character. A holistic approach ensures that religious learning is not limited to the classroom but is also integrated into extracurricular activities and the overall school environment. Students' active participation in religious activities helps build personal involvement and a deeper understanding of religious values. This research also highlights the importance of continuous monitoring and evaluation to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of this strategy in shaping students' religious character. Thus, the implementation of religious strategies at SMKN 4 Malang makes a positive contribution to the formation of a young generation that is morally and spiritually responsible.

Abstract

This article aims to conduct a need analysis to teachers and grade IV students as a reference in order to produce augmented reality-based interactive learning media on the material of plant parts and functions, using qualitative descriptive methods and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data were obtained from 28 4th grade students of SDN Kejambon 10 as research respondents on May 8, 2024. Information collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the results of the needs analysis, it was found that students have difficulty in understanding science subjects, especially the material on plant parts and functions, so they need interactive learning media based on augmented reality that is interesting and facilitates their understanding, such as learning media for Plant QR-Tet Cards integrated with augmented reality which offers easy access, flexibility of time and place of learning. interesting and interactive display with visualization, attractive and interactive with visualization, flexibility of time and place of learning, Attractive and interactive displays with visualization, audio, video, and animation that can increase the interest and understanding of students, as well as the presentation of material in the form of quartet card games that are more interesting and increase the motivation of students to learn, so that overall the Plant QR-Tet Card is an innovative learning media that utilizes augmented reality technology to present material in a more interesting and interactive way.

Abstract

This study analyzes and explores the role of anti-corruption education in shaping character and raising anti-corruption awareness among students, as well as identifying the challenges in integrating anti-corruption values at Institut Ilmu Al-Qur'an An-Nur Yogyakarta. Students are seen as potential agents of change in the fight against corruption, but they need to be equipped with a deep understanding of the dangers of corruption and the importance of integrity in social life. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of anti-corruption education in building student character at Institut Ilmu Al-Qur'an An-Nur Yogyakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with an observational and interview-based approach. The results indicate that anti-corruption education is effective in shaping student character and increasing anti-corruption awareness in higher education environments. Concrete steps, such as integrating anti-corruption values into the curriculum and providing active moral guidance, can significantly contribute to building a more dignified and integral generation. Students not only have theoretical knowledge of corruption but are also capable of implementing anti-corruption values through real actions around them, both on campus and in the broader community.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the contribution of parenting patterns applied by parents and learning independence to PAI learning outcomes at SMAN 99 Jakarta. This type of research is quantitative with variables including the contribution of parenting styles, the contribution of independent learning and PAI learning outcomes. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study are 328 students in class X at SMAN 99 Jakarta. The sampling technique used 77 students using several data collection methods; questionnaires, documentation, observations, interviews and listerature studies. The data analysis technique used to answer the research hypothesis is multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that parenting styles contribute and have a positive relationship to the results of Islamic Religious Education at SMAN 99 Jakarta with a significant correlation coefficient value of t = 2.769 which is greater than t table of 1.992 and a significant level of Sig = 0.031. Learning independence contributes and has a positive relationship to Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes at SMAN 99 Jakarta, with a significant correlation coefficient = 2.264 which is greater than t table = 1.992 and a significant level of Sig = 0.042 and parenting style and student learning independence contribute together. on Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes at SMAN 99 Jakarta with a correlation coefficient value of fcount = 3.565, meaning it is greater than ftable (2.68) and the significant level is Sig. = 0.000.
