Abstract

Children's education in the family is an inherent obligation and cannot be ignored. The success of a child's education is closely related to the educational patterns that first shape a child's character. This research aims to find an Islamic concept of children's education for parents and educators in educating children. This research uses library research methods, conducted in July-December 2023, the primary data source is the Al-Qur'an Surah Luqman: 12-19, and the secondary data sources are tafsir books, fiqh and relevant articles or journals, Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis techniques. This research concludes that the concept of children's education according to Luqmanul Hakim is as follows: children's education must be based on wisdom from their educators, using mau'izhah and testament as a method of delivering material, fostering a sense of gratitude, giving birth to an attitude of filial piety towards both parents, fostering an attitude of responsibility and independence for children in various aspects, enjoining good deeds and prohibiting being haughty and arrogant.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the quality or ability to complete gap text as a strategy for understanding information. The research method uses a descriptive-inferential quantitative approach. The research sample was 28 students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau University, which was carried out in 2022. The data collection technique was a test on gap text. Data analysis techniques included scoring and assessing the results of respondents' entries through descriptive statistics and decision analysis through normality tests and one-sample t tests. The results of the analysis of completing incomplete text as a strategy for understanding information were an average of 71,50 with the independent category. The normality test had a normal distribution through the Shapiro-Wilk value of 0,949 at a significance of 0,187, the t test obtained ttable -1,704 < tcount 0,125 < ttable +1,704 and a significance value of 0,902 > 0,05. The test results provide a conclusion that the quality of completing incomplete text can help in understanding the information in a text. Significantly, the quality of completing incomplete text had a positive impact on strategies for understanding information in the text.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the empirical assistance of the problems of PAI learning in the development of Islamic youth morals in global issues. This research uses descriptive qualitative research using the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Then, the data collection technique consists of 1) data reduction; 2) Data Presentation and Analysis; 3) Drawing Conclusions. Based on the results of data collection, at least 19 research articles were found that were relevant in answering the 3 research questions (RQ) as follows: 1) RQ1. What are the Empirical Facts of Islamic Teenagers' Akhlaq?; 2) What is the influence of Behavioral Modernization on the Morals of Islamic Youth; 3) What is the Role of PAI as Learning in Islamic Youth Management? The results of the study show that there are three typologies of behavioral modernity towards the development of Islamic youth morals, namely 1) Demoralization; 2) Teacher Reorientation and Failure to Implement Ideal Learning Designs; 3) There is a Need for Innovation of Learning Instructional Design as the Role of PAI. Thus this research can be an empirical basis for the development of PAI learning in the future to be better and in accordance with the needs of students.

Abstract

This article is written to reveal; trends in online music learning, innovations in online music curriculum, challenges in online music learning, issues of teaching quality and evaluation of online music learning, and the success of online music learning programs. The method used in this research is qualitative type, using data analysis of Miles and Huberman's theory which consists of four pillars namely; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show; (1) Trends in online music learning have a good impact in creating exciting opportunities for music learning, as well as presenting new ways of understanding and creating musical works. (2) Innovations in the online music learning curriculum form a new culture in music teaching, this can be seen from the use of the cloud as a shared archive service to access every material and upload assignments, the presence of collage music features that facilitate remote music collaboration for students, and the emergence of digital music applications, making music learning more efficient. (3) Problems or challenges that arise in online music learning are generally caused by poor internet connection. As a result, the music learning that is delivered becomes intermittent. (4) teaching quality issues and evaluation problems of online music learning can be described as follows, the uneven ability of teachers who master the features of online music learning and at the evaluation stage, the potential for cheating can certainly occur, especially with the limitations of monitoring students' activities during the learning process. (5) in general, online music learning is dominantly effective and successful, this can be traced from other supporting research.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the efforts made by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling the value of religious pluralism in senior high schools (SMA), especially in Dampit. Religious pluralism is a concept that encourages recognition and respect for diverse religious beliefs and views. In the context of education, understanding and applying the values of religious pluralism can help form a young generation who is tolerant and appreciates religious differences. This study used qualitative research methods by interviewing a number of PAI teachers at a high school. The collected data was analysed using a thematic approach to identify concrete efforts made by PAI teachers to instill the value of religious pluralism. The research results showed that PAI teachers adopt various strategies, such as using a dialogic approach and in-depth understanding of various religions. This research was conducted between January and July 2023 with the aim of providing a deeper understanding of the role of PAI teachers in developing an understanding of religious pluralism among high school students. The implication of this research is that religious education can be an important understanding in promoting inclusive attitudes and mutual understanding in a multicultural and multireligious society.

Abstract

Citizenship education is an integral part of the education curriculum, especially at the elementary school level, playing a crucial role in shaping students' characters. This research aims to identify the influence of citizenship education learning on students in their daily lives. The research method used is literature review with a descriptive approach. The findings of this study reveal how citizenship education learning can impact students in their real-life experiences. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a better understanding of the importance of citizenship education in shaping students' characters and behaviors.

Abstract

The relationship between time management practices and academic results in the field of Fiqh (Islamic Law) for grade 11 students at MAN 21 Jakarta. This research, which specifically focuses on the subject of Fiqh, aims to understand how effective time management can improve academic performance. Data was collected from Class XI students using a case study methodology to investigate their time management habits and corresponding academic success in Fiqh. This research adds to our understanding of the factors that influence academic success in Islamic studies, especially in the educational context at MAN 21 Jakarta. This study adopted a quantitative approach and used correlational methods. Likert scales for time management and multiple choice tests for learning outcomes are among the research instruments. This research was sparked by the phenomenon of modern youth preferring to engage in online games on their devices rather than focus on their studies, resulting in a decline in academic performance. Student time management is crucial and has a significant impact on their learning outcomes. Prioritizing essential activities becomes difficult if a student's time management is ineffective, resulting in decreased academic performance. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between time management and learning outcomes in Islamic Law (Fiqh) among grade 11 students at MAN 21 Jakarta.

Abstract

The development of teaching materials for professional ethics of optical refractionists/optometrists for fifth semester students at the LEPRINDO Optician Refraction Academy is expected to produce efficient and effective teaching materials for students and lecturers, thus it makes easier for lecturer in carrying out the lecture process. The development practices programmed model, which is arranged in a systematic order based on a theoretical foundation, by describing the problems that arise in learning, namely Dick and Carey Model. The products can be used as learning resources, as evidenced by expert validation and feasibility tests results. Some students show that the teaching materials for the Refractionist Optimist professional ethics are very feasible with a percentage of 75% and are in accordance with the existing theory.

Abstract

Learning media based on local potential is very important in improving student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the use of local potential-based biology learning media and its effect on learning outcomes. The research method used meta-analysis by reviewing articles related to local potential-based biology learning media published in national and international journals. Data were analyzed qualitatively narrative. The data sample analyzed 21 articles that present data on the effect of local potential-based biology learning media on learning outcomes. The results showed that the local potential of the region (plantae, Animalia, gene diversity, species, and mangroves), plants (tuberous food plants, mosses, reeds, traditional medicinal plants, and coffee plants), fungi, animals (gold snails, fish, coral reef waste) and exisitems (hills and green valleys,). Learning media that utilize local potential are visual and audio visual media. Visual media consists of pictures, posters, modules, booklets, textbooks, hand outs, props (analog), identification cards, and infographics. While audio visual is flash media macro. Local potential-based learning media affects learning outcomes with an effect size value of 1.15 (high). It is concluded that the learning media biology learning media based on local potential has a high effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Character education is an important issue in the world of education today. One of the Islamic thinkers who paid great attention to character education was Imam Al-Ghazali. In his view, character education is an essential aspect of forming a complete human being. This article examines the role of school management in and most importantly in realizing character education from Imam Al-Ghazali's perspective. Al-Ghazali, as one of the great Islamic scholars, emphasized the importance of morals and character in education. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach to analyze Al-Ghazali's view on character education and how it is implemented in school management. The aim of this research is to provide practical recommendations for school principals, teachers, and other stakeholders in implementing holistic and sustainable character education based on the principles taught by Imam Al-Ghazali. Successful implementation of character education in schools can contribute to the formation of a better society. Therefore, it is important for every school to continue improve the quality of character education through effective and innovative school management.
