Abstract

Watching is one of the daily activities carried out by all levels of society, young and old to children. In the digital era, many children do not understand what they are watching and receive harmful information. The fact is that watching activities provide many benefits, such as getting information anywhere and anytime easily. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to students through digital literacy that there is a lot of learning that can be taken from watching activities and developing writing, understanding, and listening skills. The method used in this activity is Video Based Learning which is the delivery of learning through video by showing films. The results showed that the percentage level of video eligibility was 75% with good qualifications. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Video Based Learning method is feasible to use in the learning process

Abstract

This research was conducted on Employee Students of the Management Study Program at Pembangunan Panca Budi University, Medan. The research objective is to identify and analyze the effect of part-time work, work stress, learning environment and learning motivation on academic achievement. The population in this study was 431 respondents who were Friday and Saturday Employee Class Students for the period 2020 to 2022. The number of samples taken in this study were 82 respondents. The sample size is determined by the Slovin formula with an error tolerance of 10%. This study uses quantitative data processed with the SPSS application with multiple linear regression analysis models. The data source used is primary data taken directly from the respondents. The results showed that part-time work, work stress and learning motivation had a positive and significant effect on academic achievement. While the Learning Environment has no effect and is not significant on Academic Achievement. Simultaneously Parttime Work, Work Stress, Learning Environment and Learning Motivation have a positive and significant effect on Academic Achievement. The magnitude of the influence contribution of all variables is 31.0% and the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the work environment, commitment, personality of  UMKM  on HR loyalty through UMKM performance. The research was conducted in Kelambir Lima Kebun Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is associative research with quantitative descriptive method. The number of samples studied in this study were 50 respondents who were UMKM actors. Data analysis was carried out through PLS-SEM using the SmartPLS v. program. 3. The results of direct effect research show that the work environment, commitment and personality of  UMKM  have a positive and significant effect on UMKM performance. The personality of UMKM has a positive and significant effect on HR loyalty. The work environment has no positive and insignificant effect on HR loyalty. UMKM performance has a positive and significant effect on HR loyalty. While the results of the indirect effect research show that the work environment, commitment and personality of  UMKM  have a positive and significant effect on HR loyalty through UMKM performance.

Abstract

The objective of this descriptive qualitative study was to find out the keynote speaker to participant in online webinar by using zoom application. A keynote speaker has been conducted as a participant. To examine keynote speaker to participant, observation in zoom application were be used. The observation was be used to find out the keynote speaker™s interaction to participant. Then, the results were be analyzed to identify form of keynote speaker™s interaction. The results were 1) There were 3 forms of interaction used by keynote speaker to participant in online webinar, namely initiation move (I-Move), response move (R-Move), and Feedback Move (F-Move), and 2) The Initiation move (I-Move) was the most dominant interaction form used by keynote speaker to participant in online webinar and the least form was feedback move (F-Move).

Abstract

Mesin Bubut adalah suatu Mesin perkakas yang digunakan untuk memotong benda kerja yang diputar. Proses pembentukan benda kerja yang dilakukan dengan cara memutar benda kerja kemudian dikenakan pada pahat yang digerakkan secara translasi sejajar dengan sumbu putar dari benda kerja. Gerakan putar dari benda kerja disebut gerak potong relatif dan gerakan translasi dari pahat disebut gerak umpan. Mesin bubut juga telah dilengkapi berbagai kelengkapan tambahan yaitu keran pendingin, lampu kerja, bak penampung beram dan rem yang berfungsi untuk menghentikan mesin dalam keadaan darurat. Pelatihan ini bertujuan melatih siswa SMK Teknik Mesin untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam melaksanakan proses permesinan produksi. Hasil dari pelatihan ini mendapat respon yang antusias dari peserta dimana peserta mampu menghasilkan menggunakan mesin produksi dan menghasilkan produk sesuai dengan instruksi narasumber.

Abstract

Thematic Field Practice (PLT) is a compulsory subject at the Faculty of Languages and Arts and is a direct teaching and learning process that puts into practice the knowledge learned in lectures. Students must acquire knowledge and skills and apply them in their community, whether in the school community, industrial community, institutional community or general community, depending on their field of study. In implementation of thematic field practice activities requires responsibility, discipline, thoroughness or accuracy and high patience in follow social norms in society, as well as in steps learning in teaching activities, training and mentoring children elementary school. This teaching practice provides a direct description of how the learning process works, how to interact with Sunday school children, how to convey material well and with understanding, as well as how to understand their very different characteristics. With this English class and this music art class, Sunday school children not only learn Indonesian but also learn foreign languages and learn music with their enthusiasm the first time they learn English and music, it is hoped that students will be able to hone and continue learning , English language training and music art training in order to improve human resources which will always increase with the times.

Abstract

(Thematic Field Practice/PLT) is a required course for students of English Literature. This PLT implementation is a forum for each student to apply and improve the knowledge they have acquired in the fields of English Literature and Musical Arts in their community. In particular, through PLT he targets Sunday school children and youth in HKBP Parmonangan.This research can be classified as a type of descriptive research using qualitative methods, judging by the scope and results to be achieved. The survey was conducted with teenagers and Sunday school children from HKBP Parmonangan Church on Jl. Surya No. 12, Ex. IndraKasih Medan Tembung, North Sumatra. The activities of the author are as follows. (Thematic Field Practice/PLT) is a compulsory subject for students majoring in English Literature. The implementation of this PLT is a forum for all students to apply and enhance the knowledge gained in the field of English Literature to the community, especially Sunday School children at HKBP Parmonangan through the PLT. Based on the results of the discussion and on the data obtained from the actual work at the HKBP Parmonangan Church, the authors can make conclusions and recommendations that may be useful to all parties involved. deal with a problem, namely: Students learn more and can understand faster when they enter the world of work directly, Practical students acquire a wide range of knowledge in industrial practice, both theoretically and practically, Being able to know how to solve various problems directly, efficiently and effectively because they are linked to existing systems reduces errors and Can know how to work together between developers, distribution of tasks, means of communication and kinship created in PLT.

Abstract

There is a change in how teachers teach and students learn, which was initially done face-to-face at school, but now can be done online. The use of interactive learning media still needs to be improved due to the need for mastery of technology owned by teachers. Many teachers still need to understand practical learning applications for teachers and students. Students become less interested in participating in distance learning activities due to the limited use of various applications. So PKM activities were held as training workshops for making Edpuzzle-based teaching materials. The workshop was held for four days and involved 236 participants from various regions in Indonesia, such as Samarinda, Pekanbaru, and several areas in West Java. The activity method is divided into three steps: 1) preparation, 2) implementation, and 3) evaluation. Evaluation results based on questionnaire data show that 71% of teachers are assisted in monitoring student learning progress, and teachers can implement their work into learning.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengurusan jenazah dalam agama Islam sangatlah penting, namun masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengurus bahkan enggan jika berinteraksi dengan jenazah salah satu permasalahannya adalah kurangnya pemahaman, kesadaran, dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang pengurusan jenazah, begitu yang dihadapi oleh beberapa dosen dan tenaga kependidikan di Unisba. Untuk membantu mengatasi permasalahan itu maka diselenggarakan kegiatan pelatihan pemulasaran jenazah bagi dosen dan tenaga kependidikan Unisba. Metode yang dilakukan melalui identifikasi masalah, ceramah, diskusi, dokumentasi dan praktik. Hasilnya bahwa pemahaman, kesadaran, dan keterampilan para peserta pelatihan meningkat.  Abstract The corpses management in Islam is very important, but there are still many people don™t care and are even reluctant to interact with corpses. One of the problems is the lack of understanding, awareness, and community skills regarding the corpses management, as faced by several lecturers and education staff at Unisba. To help this problem, a corpse recovery training activity was held for Unisba lecturers and education staff. The methods carried out through problem identification, lectures, discussions, documentation and practice. The result is the understanding, awareness, and skills of the trainees increase.

Abstract

Astronomy is a science that persons who like it very little. Most assume that it contains more astronomical calculations are quite complicated elements. Even now, these calculations can be solved with some simple program that can be applied easily. Learning astronomy would be more pronounced if done early, especially for children, such as Ramadhan Star Camp (RSC) at Imahnoong Observatory. The agenda packed with œeduwisata concept makes children don™t feel bored when presented celestial objects, and other astronomical instruments, also to provide practical astronomy, alteration of the mindset that learning is not difficult. Descriptive analysis method used in this paper, which the data obtained from the questionnaires given to the participants, then processed, classified, and at the final stage concluded. Finally, most of the members are very pleased with the RSC, and they can learn astronomy practice, combined with a series of exciting and fun activities in the concept of œeduwisata
