Abstract

Desa Sungai Nyirih is located in Jawai District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. This village is a coastal with the potential for mangrove forests and a diversity of biota such as snail (mollusks: gastropods). Snails are one of the biota that are consumed in various ways by the local community. Gastropods play an important role in the food chain. Apart from that, this biota is a bioindicator of the quality of the waters. Data collection on snail species in the mangrove ecosystem of Desa Sungai Nyirih Village is not yet available. Therefore, this research aims to identify the types of snails (Gastropoda) found in Desa Sungai Nyirih, Sambas. Snail samples were collected using an exploration method throughout the mangrove ecosystem. The species of sample was identified. They were Cassidula aurisfelis, Cassidula nucleus, Pirenella cingulata, Cerithidea obtusa, Ellobium sp., Neripteron violaceum, dan Littoraria melastonoma, Littoraria albicans, and Littoraria scabra. Keywords: gastropods, Cassidula, Pirenella, Cerithidea, Neripteron, Ellobium, Littoraria Abstrak Desa Sungai Nyirih secara adminitrasi terletak di Kecamatan Jawai, Kabupaten Sambas, Kalimantan Barat. Desa ini merupakan salah satu desa pesisir dengan potensi hutan mangrove dan keanekaragaman biotanya, salah satunya adalah keong (moluska: gastropoda). Keong adalah salah satu biota yang dikonsumsi dengan pengolahan yang beraneka ragam oleh masyarakat setempat. Gastropoda berperan penting dalam rantai makanan. Selain itu, biota ini merupakan bioindikator kualitas suatu perairan. Pendataan jenis keong di ekosisten mangrove Desa Sungai Nyirih belum tersedia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis keong (Gastropoda) yang ditemukan pada Desa Sungai Nyirih, Sambas. Pengumpulan sampel keong dilakukan dengan metode eksplorasi di seluruh ekosistem mangrove. Sampel kemudian diidentifikasi jenisnya. Genus yang ditemukan adalah Cassidula aurisfelis, Cassidula nucleus, Pirenella cingulata, Cerithidea obtusa, Ellobium sp., Neripteron violaceum, dan Littoraria melastonoma, Littoraria albicans, dan Littoraria scabra. Abstract

Watching is one of the daily activities carried out by all levels of society, young and old to children. In the digital era, many children do not understand what they are watching and receive harmful information. The fact is that watching activities provide many benefits, such as getting information anywhere and anytime easily. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to students through digital literacy that there is a lot of learning that can be taken from watching activities and developing writing, understanding, and listening skills. The method used in this activity is Video Based Learning which is the delivery of learning through video by showing films. The results showed that the percentage level of video eligibility was 75% with good qualifications. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Video Based Learning method is feasible to use in the learning process

Abstract

Assistance in preparing the vision. The mission, goals, and objectives of the Cooperative are one of the solutions to the problems faced by the Cirebon Millennial Saung Tani Cooperative, namely the lack of understanding of the mechanism for preparing VMTS. The purpose of this activity is to improve understanding and skills regarding the steps of preparing and determining the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the cooperative. The method of implementing this activity is mentoring carried out by modern cooperative expert assistants in 2022. The partner in this mentoring activity is the Saung Tani Millenial Cooperative, Cirebon Regency, West Java. The evaluation is carried out by looking at the percentage of completion of VMTS, where it is composed only up to the cooperative mission. So it is stated that the achievement is 50%.

Abstract

Padang lamun merupakan ekosistem laut dangkal yang didominasi oleh vegetasi lamun. Ekosistem padang lamun memiliki peran penting dalam ekologi kawasan pesisir, karena menjadi habitat berbagai biota laut yang menjadikan tempat mencari makanan (feeding ground) bagi penyu hijau, dugong, aneka jenis ikan, Echinodermata dan Gastropoda. Berbagai aktivitas manusia dan industri akan memberi dampak terhadap ekosistem padang lamun, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Mengingat pentingnya lamun, maka perlu segera dilakukan upaya-upaya pengelolaan yang tepat dan konservasi lamun. Dalam upaya menjaga ekosistem padang lamun tersebut maka perlu dilakukan pengenalan tentang pentingnya menjaga dan melestarikan ekosistem lamun sejak usia dini. Kegiatan MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kepada anak-anak tingkat Sekolah Dasar tentang sejauh mana mereka mengetahui ekosistem tersebut. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dari 1 April sampai dengan 12 Mei 2023 yang berlokasi di SDN 13 Desa Jeruju Besar. Kegiatan ini meliputi penyampaian materi pengenalan ekosistem lamun yang berupa video animasi dan mewarnai gambar ekosistem lamun. Tingkat pemahaman siswa-siswi sangat baik dilihat dari keaktifan dalam menanyakan materi serta respon yang sangat baik dari siswa-siswi selama kegiatan berlangsung.

Abstract

Desa Sungai Nyirih, as one of the coastal villages in Jawai District, West Kalimantan, has the potential for a mangrove ecosystem with a diversity of aquatic biota, including bivalves. Most of the coastal communities in West Kalimantan catch and consume shellfish because it contains high nutrients. Therefore, shellfish can be an alternative source of animal protein. The aim of the study was to identify the genus of bivalves in the mangrove area of Desa Sungai Nyirih, Jawai District, West Kalimantan. The collection of bivalves was carried out using the exploratory method, as many as ±5 individuals of each genus were collected and all genera of bivalves were identified. The results showed that there were two genera found, such as the cockle (Geloina expansa) and the blood clam (Tegillarca nodifera).

Abstract

Child stunting is a health problem that has a major impact on their physical growth and brain development. This study aims to create a model that can predict the risk of stunting using machine learning technology, in order to provide assistance quickly. Using data from 7,573 children, which included information such as age, weight, height gender and breastfeeding status, we tried two methods, Naive Bayes and Decision Tree. As a result, Naive Bayes was more accurate and the success rate reached 92%, compared to Decision tree which was only 88%. With this model, it is hoped that health workers will find it easier to find children at risk of stunting, so that preventive action can be taken earlier. This research aims to provide technology-based solutions to overcome the problem of stunting in the community.

Abstract

Radikal bebas yang berasal dari udara, makanan dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan tetapi dapat ditangkal dengan antioksidan. Antioksidan dapat diperoleh dari tanaman dan salah satunya ialah kunyit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kekuatan aktivitas antioksidan dari ekstrak kunyit. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara ekstraksi serbuk kunyit yang telah diterminasi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol serta seduhan, kemudian masing-masing larutan difermentasi menjadi kombucha. Kombucha ekstrak kunyit dan seduhan kunyit dilakukan penapisan fitokimia, selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH serta vitamin C sebagai kontrol positif. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mendapatkan kombucha ekstrak kunyit dan seduhan kunyit yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai antioksidan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas antioksidan dari kombucha ekstrak kunyit dan kombucha kunyit memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan aktivitas antioksidan dengan nilai IC50 masing-masing yang dihasilkan sebesar 46,6 ppm dan 5,25 ppm termasuk dalam kategori antioksidan sangat kuat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of academic service quality, campus facilities, and university image on student satisfaction at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati Cirebon. The population consists of all active students enrolled in the Faculty of Economics and Business, totaling 4,166 students. The sampling method used is non-probability sampling with a convenience sampling technique, resulting in a sample of 390 students.Descriptive analysis shows that the quality of academic services at FEB UGJ is categorized as good, with an average score of 3.62, although there are several aspects that need improvement, such as the consistency of leadership policies. The assessment of campus facilities is also good, with an average of 3.78; however, the availability of computer facilities is still inadequate. The university's image received positive ratings in brand and social aspects, but its academic image needs enhancement. The average satisfaction score of students indicates a good result, but there is a need to increase student participation in extracurricular activities.Verificative analysis using multiple linear regression indicates that academic service quality, campus facilities, and university image have a significant influence on student satisfaction. The obtained regression model is Y = 0.250 + 0.603X1 + 0.270X2 + 0.442X3, where X1, X2, and X3 represent academic service quality, campus facilities, and university image, respectively. The t-test shows that all independent variables positively contribute significantly to the dependent variable.

Abstract

Armed conflict has driven the evolution of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) to minimize suffering, yet severe violations persist, necessitating effective enforcement mechanisms like the International Criminal Court (ICC), established by the Rome Statute in 1998. The ICC holds jurisdiction over individuals responsible for genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and the crime of aggression. This article analyzes the ICC's jurisdiction over non-member states of the Rome Statute and the validity of the warrant of arrest issued against leaders from such states, specifically Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel. Although Israel is not a state party, the ICC can assert jurisdiction if the alleged crimes occurred in the territory of a state party or if the situation is referred by the UN Security Council, in line with the principle of complementarity. The issuance of the warrant of arrest against Netanyahu on May 20, 2024, was based on Article 58 of the Rome Statute following alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza, a territory of Palestine (a state party to the Rome Statute), providing a strong legal basis. However, its implementation faces political challenges and rejection from some member states, which could violate their obligations under Article 86 of the Rome Statute.

Abstract

Studi literatur ini dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan berbagai jenis informasi terhadap penerapan etika bisnis terhadap kepuasan konsumen menurut pandangan Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini yaitu studi literatur yang dimana kita harus mengumpulkan beberapa jenis penelitian terlebih dahulu untuk menjawab penerapan etika bisnis terhadap kepuasan konsumen. Maka hasil dari studi ini yaitu penerapan etika bisnis sangat berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan konsumen, karena dengan para pelaku bisnis menerapkan semua kode etik dalam bisnis maka akan terciptanya suatu kepuasan tersendiri bagi para konsumen. Selain itu, sikap yang harus ditanamkan dalam seorang pebisnis yaitu seperti jujur, amanah, tidak merugikan orang lain, dan selalu berbuat baik. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa etika tergadap kepuasan konsumen memegang peranan yang sangat penting sebagai salah satu alat komunikasi dalam berbisnis.
