Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know whether there are significant effects of Media Learning and Students’ Motivasion to Learn towards Social Science Achievement.The research was conducted at Class XI at High School around Depok City with total sample 60 students that randomly taken. The method used in the research was a experiments. Data of Media Learning, Students’ Motivasion to Learn, and Social Science Achievement were acquired from the test. The data was analysed using descriptive statistical method, multiple correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and multiple regression analysis.The result of data analyzes shown there are significant effects of Media Learning and Students’ Motivasion to Learn towards Social Science Achievement.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Keywords: Media Learning, Students’ Motivasi to Learn, and Social Science Achievement.

Abstract: Law No. 24 of 2009 Article 25 of the State Language. This article incorrectly stated that the Indonesian only serves as the official language of the state, introduction of education. Act real manifestation of our government's concern about language education in Indonesia in particular. Where language is an everyday communication tool to get attention of the entire community languages. With the existence of these laws to strengthen the Indonesian legal position in pengguanaanya. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya masalah yaitu hasil belajar peserta didik yang belum optimal atau adanya peserta didik yang masih memperoleh hasil belajar yang rendah yaitu di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM).Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk Membandingkan perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan metodeindex card matchdenganthelearning cellpadaposttestpada mata pelajaran ekonomidanbisnis.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental design nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan objek penelitian yang terdiri dari dua kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas X Akuntansi 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen I peneliti menerapkan metodeindex card matchdan kelas XAkuntansi2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 peneliti menerapkan metodethe learning cell. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah N-Gain dan Uji t.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaTerdapat perbedaan antar hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan metodeIndex Card Matchdengan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakanmetodeTheLearning Cell. Hal tersebut juga dibuktikan dengan hasil perhitungan uji t yang menyatakan bahwa thitungyang diperoleh dari hasil pengukuran akhir yakni sebesar 2,16 dan harga ttabelyang diperoleh dari hasil pengukuran akhir 1,992 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan dk 73.. Hasil analisis menunjukkan thitung>ttabel, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa hipotesis diterima, dan artinya bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan metode Index Card Match dengan metode The Learning Cell, dimana penggunaan metode Index Card Matchmemperolehkategorilebih tinggi dibanding dengan hasil belajar peserta didik yang menggunakan metode The Learning Cell.Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Index Card Matchlebih baik dan efektif bila dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode The Learning Cell. Kata Kunci:Hasil Belajar, MetodeIndex Card Match, Metode The LearningCell.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes by using a pair of checks by applying the concrete example on Mathematics in Elementary School fifth grade Siborongborong 173311 school year 2013/2014. Classroom Action Research Subjects are Elementary School fifth grade students 173311 Siborongborong totaling 36  people, the object of this study is the result of student learning. After administration of the first cycle level measures of student learning in the classical completeness is 81% with an average value of 67.08. After the implementation of the second cycle level of mastery learning students become 88.89% with an average value of 72.83. Inferred by using the pair of checks by applying a concrete example can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: pair of checks; concrete examples

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose on this research is to know whether there are significant effects ofreading habit and vocabulary mastery hortatory exposition writing skill.The research wasconducted at SMAN102 and SMAN 89 of the eleventh grade with the total population of 390students and the sample was 80 students that were randomly taken. The method used in theresearch was a survey. Data of reading habit, vocabulary mastery and hortatory expositionwriting skill were collected from a test. The data was analysed using descriptive statisticalmethod, multiple correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, and multiple regressionanalysis. Ftest and ttestwere analyzed.Data collection done by giving essay test for hortatoryexposition writing skill, thirty (30) items of multiplechoice test for Reading Habit, and twenty(20)items of multiplechoice test for vocabulary mastery given to the subjects at SMAN 102and SMAN 89.The result of data analyzes shows that there are significant effects of readinghabitandvocabulary mastery towards hortatoryexposition writing skill.Keywords: Reading Habit, Vocabulary Mastery, and Hortatory Exposition Writing Skill.

Abstract

This experiment research is aimed at obtaining information related to the possibility that the students’ understanding the concept of Mathematics is caused by cooperative learning model of type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) and interent of study.  Research has been implemented using experimental variables after all put into 2 x 2 factorial design research. In this research, the students have been chosen as a unit of analysis 60 samples selected. The result of analysis finds out that: 1) the students’ understanding the concept of Mathematics is  caused by cooperative learning model of type Student Team Achievement Division, 2) influence of learning interest  against  the students’ understanding the concept of Mathematics, and 3) the influence of interaction of the learning model cooperative type of Student Team Achievement Division and learning interest against the students’ understanding the concept of Mathematics.  Therefore, cooperative learning model of type Student Team Achievement Division and discipline of study should be put into the account of development in managing human resources in teaching activities in the classroom, especially of the Mathematics subject. Abstract

Abstract: This community service held at Foreign English Course located in Jl. Akses Tol Cijago, Cisalak, Cimanggis, Depok, Jabar and at Bimbingan Belajar dan Les Privat Be Smart located in Jl. Banteng No. 3 Ruko Pondok Cibubur, Cisalak, Cimanggis, Depok aiming on sharing knowledge and information how to use Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) especially on English teaching towards all learner levels. Additionally, the community service activities were provided not only in theoretical concept and principles of CLT but also practical perspectives and models of using CLT. The training targeted is the mentors who teach at Foreign English Course and Bimbingan Belajar dan Les Privat Be Smart. The training was conducted using Community Language Learning, and held during April-August 2017.The output product of this service is a Booklet which contains about using CLT in English teaching. Key words: Communicative Language Teaching, English Teaching Method, English Course Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di Lembaga Kursus Foreign English Course dengan alamat Jl. Akses Tol Cijago, Cisalak, Cimanggis, Depok, Jabar dan di Bimbingan Belajar dan Les Privat Be Smart  yang beralamat di Jl. Banteng No. 3 Ruko Pondok Cibubur, Cisalak, Cimanggis, Depok bertujuan untuk membagikan pengetahuan dan informasi mengenai penggunaan metode Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris di tingkat SD/SMP/SMA/PT/Karyawan/Umum. Kegiatan yang dilakukan selain memberikan penjelasan secara teoritikal dan praktikal mengenai metode Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) dengan memberikan penjelasan tentang bagaimana mengaplikasikan metode tersebut dengan tehnik yang sesuai dan variasi model pengajaran dari metode CLT. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan berupa pelatihan untuk para guru tutor yang mengajar di Lembaga Kursus Foreign English Course dan Bimbingan Belajar dan Les Privat Be Smart . Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan yaitu Community Language Learning yang mana saling berbagi informasi layaknya seperti konsultan dan klien. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan selama bulan April-Agustus 2017. Luaran dari kegiatan abdimas yang dilakukn berupa Booklet yang berisi cakupan tentang metode Communicative Language Teaching yang dapat dipakai sebagai acuan dalam penganjaran bahasa Inggris. Kata kunci: Communicative Language Teaching, Metode Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris, Bimbingan Belajar

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan materi ajar berbasis kompetensi untuk mata kuliah Writing 1 bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kebutuhan dosen dan mahasiswa dengan cara menambahkan, mengurangi, menghilangkan, dan memodifikasi materi bahan ajar agar tercapainya kesesuaian antara indikator dengan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam materi ajar (modul) “Writing 1 from Sentence to Paragraph.” Perbaikan dan pengembangan modul di mulai dari keterampilan mikro dalam menulis, orientasi, pendekatan, materi, teknik pengajaran, bentuk latihan dan penilaian. Salah satu bentuk dari perbaikan dan pengembangan modul selanjutnya yaitu dengan adanya penjelasan materi yang lebih spesifik dan mudah dipahami oleh mahasiswa serta pemberian contoh dan latihan soal yang harus diperbanyak dan bervariasi. Instrumen penelitian ini berasal kuesioner yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa semester III Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dan dosen pengampu mata kuliah Writing 1 di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI dengan analisis data penelitian yang dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan materi ajar berbasis kompetensi, teknik yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu pemodifikasian (judul materi ajar/modul, kompetensi dasar di setiap bab, penjelasan materi, dan petunjuk pengerjaan) dan penambahan jumlah latihan soal. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Materi Ajar, Kompetensi Mahasiswa, Menulis

Abstract

Abstract :The objective of the research is to obtain (1) the effect of perception on the compensation towards the performance motivation, (2) the simultan effet of perception on the compensation and the performance motivation towards social teacher’s performance, (3) The partial effect of perception on the compensation towards social teacher’s performance, (4) The partial effect of the performance motivation towards social teacher’s performance. This study was done at the private vocational high school of Jagakarsa District in East Jakarta. Sample of this study is social teacher of  private vocational high school of Jagakarsa District of East Jakarta that taken by satisfied sample. The method of the study is Explanatory Survey Method. Data Analyze Technique is regression with intervening variable. The findings are as follow as: (1) There is positive effect of perception on the compensation towards the performance motivation, (2) There are  simultan effet of perception on the compensation and the performance motivation towards social teacher’s performance, (3) There is no  partial effect of perception on the compensation towards social teacher’s performance, (4) There is partial effect of the performance motivation towards social teacher’s performance Keywords : The perception on the compensation; the performance motivation; and social teacher’s performance.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the short stories writing skills of student in X class SMA Negeri 35 Jakarta Pusat through partisipatori methods. The Research conducted in SMA Negeri 35 Jakarta by using the working procedures of Mc. Taggart and a spiral cycle. The results showed that the value in the first cycle that empirically maximum score can be obtained is 85 and the lowest score was 57. The average score was 70.5. In the second cycle that empirically maximum score can be obtained is 93 and the lowest scores is 70. The average student's ability to write short stories, namely 80.91. Based on these results, the researchers suggest: 1) the teachers should be always seek to improve their competence in teaching by using interesting techniques and the subject matters that are appropriate to the needs of students so that language learning give benefit the lives of young people today and future and 2) Students need to improve Indonesian language skills from all aspects, including writing because these skills can be used as a skill that can generate revenue. Keyword : short stories, writing skills, participatory method
