Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia (PKBI) Kota Bengkulu dalam penyebaran informasi kesehatan reproduksi serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja perempuan mengenai kesehatan reproduksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan informan kunci, observasi non-partisipan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PKBI Kota Bengkulu berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan reproduksi remaja perempuan melalui program edukasi, penyuluhan di sekolah, layanan konseling, serta pemanfaatan teknologi seperti aplikasi Oky. Selain itu, PKBI juga berperan sebagai agen perubahan dalam membentuk kesadaran remaja perempuan terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesehatan reproduksi serta mengambil keputusan yang tepat terkait kesehatan seksual dan reproduksi. Upaya ini turut mendukung pencegahan perilaku berisiko yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan jangka panjang remaja perempuan. Dengan demikian, keberadaan PKBI Kota Bengkulu menjadi faktor penting dalam membangun generasi muda yang lebih sehat, berpengetahuan, dan memiliki kesadaran tinggi terhadap kesehatan reproduksi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the concept of surplus value in driving schools and explore its impact on the quality of education. this research was conducted based on the need to understand how government interventions can overcome the mismatch of measurable improvement in the quality of education. although previous research related to a structured framework but there are still few studies that discuss it. This study examines how driving schools implement the commitment of the Driving School Program (PSP) to achieve surplus value in the form of 5 interventions from the government. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, There are 5 driving schools that are used as case studies in providing in-depth insights. Data collection using in-depth interviews, participatory observations, focus group discussions (FGD) and analysis of modified documents. The respondents were 5 principals of the driving schools and the learning committee as the main respondents, the Coaching Supervisor and other teachers from the 5 driving schools, which was carried out from January to December 2024. this research uses descriptive qualitative research. The data was analyzed using identification, classification and interpretation of the data from the research results. The results were obtained that the achievement of surplus value 3 among 5 driving schools in the range of 51 – 75 or the Developing According to Expectations (BSH) criterion means that the understanding, implementation and commitment of the driving schools have been carried out according to the existing schedule/mentoring timeline, have been consistently implemented, but have not been scanned. In addition, this study also contributed to the improvement of teaching and student engagement of the 5 schools that had performance differences with a surplus value of 3.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis determinan utama yang memepengaruhi keberlanjutan bisnis toko sembako konvensional di Kecamatan Medan Denai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah toko sembako konvensional pada tahun 2024 di toko sembako kecamatan medan denai. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 30 responden sembako konvensional di Kecamatan Medan Denai, sedangkan data sekunder diambil dari literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Persaingan (X1) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,005 dan nilai t-hitung 3,120. Kondisi Ekonomi (X2) menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005 dan nilai t-hitung 3,117. Pelayanan (X3) juga menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis dengan nilai signifikansi 0,028 dan nilai t-hitung 2,334. Kenyamanan (X4) memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis dengan nilai signifikansi 0,032 dan nilai t-hitung 2,276. Modal (X5) menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis dengan nilai signifikansi 0,008 dan nilai t-hitung 2,877. Uji F menunjukkan nilai F sebesar 17.529 dengan signifikansi 0.000, menegaskan bahwa model regresi yang melibatkan Persaingan, Kondisi Ekonomi, Pelayanan, Kenyamanan, dan Modal secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis. Penelitian ini memberikan peluang untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai aspek yang dapat memengaruhi keberlangsungan UMKM.

Abstract

Radio memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung pendidikan di wilayah dengan keterbatasan akses infrastruktur digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan media Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) sebagai sarana penyiaran pendidikan di Pekanbaru dan Kuantan Singingi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, melibatkan delapan informan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak NVivo untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa radio memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan akses pendidikan di daerah terpencil, meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sinyal dan kurangnya variasi konten. Lima tema utama yang teridentifikasi meliputi peran radio dalam akses pendidikan, kualitas siaran pendidikan, efektivitas siaran terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat, tantangan teknis dan non-teknis dalam penyiaran, serta preferensi konten berdasarkan kebutuhan lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bahwa radio, dengan integrasi teknologi digital, dapat terus menjadi media pendidikan yang efektif di era digital, khususnya dengan menyesuaikan konten berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat lokal. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya radio sebagai jembatan penghubung informasi pendidikan, terutama di wilayah yang sulit dijangkau oleh teknologi modern.

Abstract

The digital marketing industry in the hospitality sector needs a creative workforce that is able to integrate technical skills with strategic innovation. The Teaching Industry program implemented by the Graphic Design Study Program of Widyatama University in collaboration with Hotel Malaka is designed to overcome the gap between the competencies of graphic design students and industrial needs. This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Teaching Industry program in developing the technical competence of Diploma 4 Graphic Design students through various learning approaches. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis (logbook, portfolio, and performance evaluation). The study involved 17 students working on digital marketing projects, including content planning, graphic design, photography, videography, and social media management during the Odd Semester 2022-2023 to the Odd Semester 2024-2025. The results of the study show that 80% of students have experienced an increase in technical competence, especially in producing visual content, branding strategies, and social media management. Performance evaluation showed that branding design obtained the highest score (86.8), followed by event content creation (85.6). Work-Based Learning, Experiential Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Project-Based Learning approaches have proven to be effective in supporting student skill development. This program has successfully prepared students for the world of work in the creative industry sector, especially digital marketing. This Teaching Industry learning model can be adopted by other educational institutions to answer the industry's need for skilled and innovative creative workers.

Abstract

The development of 21st-century education in Indonesia necessitates equipping students with essential competencies such as problem-solving skills (PSS), particularly in chemistry learning, where real-world relevance is crucial. This study explores the integration of the Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) approach into Problem-Based Learning (PBL) as a strategy to enhance students' PSS in chemistry. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), this research analyzed 127 articles from five databases (SCOPUS, Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, Taylor & Francis, and ERIC) published between 2020 and 2024. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria based on relevance to PBL, SETS, PSS, and secondary chemistry education, 14 high-quality articles were selected for in-depth analysis. The review revealed that integrating SETS into PBL positively impacts students' ability to analyze, reason, and apply chemical concepts in solving contextual problems. However, challenges such as teacher readiness, curriculum constraints, and limited assessment tools were also identified. This study contributes to the literature by mapping trends and identifying best practices for implementing PBL-SETS in chemistry education. Despite its comprehensive scope, the review is limited by potential publication bias and the exclusion of non-English studies. These findings suggest the need for more empirical studies and professional development programs to support teachers in adopting PBL-SETS effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of culture on the role of Batak Toba parents in supporting children's higher education in Bandar Pasir Mandoge. The Batak Toba people have a strong system of values and traditions, which affect various aspects of life, including education. The role of parents in supporting children's education is crucial for the success of higher education, especially in the midst of existing cultural and social challenges. This study uses a case study approach with a qualitative method, which involves in-depth interviews with parents, children who are pursuing higher education, and community leaders in Bandar Pasir Mandoge. The results of the study show that although the Batak Toba culture highly upholds family values and hard work, There are challenges in terms of adapting to the modern education system which requires a change in mindset and habits in supporting higher education. Batak Toba parents in Bandar Pasir Mandoge tend to support their children's education through moral and material motivation, although there are differences in their level of understanding of the importance of higher education. This study concludes that Toba Batak culture plays a significant role in shaping parents' attitudes and actions in supporting children's higher education, but there is a need to educate the public about the importance of cultural adaptation in the context of modern education.

Abstract

Inclusive education plays a crucial role in fostering social interaction among students with special needs. This study aimed to explore how inclusive education impacts the social development of children with disabilities through a systematic literature review. The research identified key benefits of inclusive education, including improved communication skills, stronger peer relationships, and enhanced self-esteem for students with special needs. Additionally, typically developing students also gained empathy and social awareness through inclusive settings. However, the study found significant challenges, such as social isolation, peer rejection, and inadequate teacher training, which hinder the effectiveness of inclusive education. The research emphasized the importance of targeted interventions, such as structured social skills programs and peer-mediated strategies, to improve the inclusion experience. Moreover, the voices of students with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder, were found to be underrepresented in discussions about best practices, leading to ineffective inclusion strategies. This study highlights the need for better teacher preparation, increased social support, and student-centered policies to create a truly inclusive learning environment. By addressing these challenges, inclusive education can be a powerful tool for promoting social integration and equality in schools.

Abstract

The proficiency of early reading skill students is below expectations. Pupils need to read initially to obtain information from the media, help the learning process run well, and master learning activities for the next stage. This study aims to (1) examine expert validation of SAS teaching materials based on local wisdom, and (2) determine the effectiveness of SAS teaching materials based on local wisdom in improving students' early reading. The employed research method was Research and Development. The subjects of this study were grade 1 elementary school students in Boyolali Regency. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observations, and tests. The data analysis was descriptive qualitative, and quantitative in the form of a t-test and effect size. This study's results indicate that (1) SAS teaching materials based on local wisdom obtained validity from experts with an average of 85% in the very valid and very practical categories; (2) SAS method teaching materials based on local wisdom have been effective in the high category. The results of this study indicate that the SAS method teaching materials based on local wisdom that was developed were able to improve the initial reading skills of grade 1 elementary school students in Boyolali Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive song media as an innovative solution in learning digestive organ material and the effectiveness of the media on learning outcomes of elementary school students. The background of the research is the low student understanding of digestive organ material due to conventional learning approaches that are less interesting. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method by developing a product in the form of a song learning tool based on the human digestive system. which was carried out at SD Negeri 3 Wadung Getas. The research phase was carried out through 6 stages, namely potential and problems, information gathering, product design, design assessment, design review and product trial. The media was designed by integrating songs, animations, visualizations about digestive organs, and interactive features that allow students to explore the material independently. The research subjects consisted of 28 fifth grade students, 1 media expert, and 1 material expert. The results showed that a) an educational multimedia music video product for grade 5 elementary school students with content about the digestive system has been produced. This material can be found in Topic 3, Subtopic 1, Lesson 2 about Processed Foods in the Digestive System in the form of a video packed with a duration of 2 minutes 55 seconds, b) supported by communication experts with a percentage score of 97% and material experts with a percentage score of 90% in the good category. Effectiveness tests using pretests and posttests showed a significant increase in student understanding, with an average score increasing from 58.57 to 87.14 and an N-gain value of 0.69 (Medium category). This research proves that interactive song media is effective in improving students' understanding of digestive organ material. The media successfully accommodates various learning styles through a multimodal approach that combines audio, visual, and interactive elements. The implication of the research shows the potential of using interactive digital media in improving the quality of science learning in elementary schools.
