Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the learning media "Si Pipa" is suitable for use as a medium for learning mathematics for grade IV elementary school fraction materials and to determine whether the development of media "Si Pipa" in learning mathematics for grade IV fractions meets the valid value. The type of research applied to this research is research and development (RnD). The samples taken were 20  fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Pengkol Jepara using probability sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The results of the assessment from media experts reached an average percentage of 93.23% with the criteria of "very good". The results of the assessment from material experts reached an average percentage of 91.35% with the criteria of "very good". The results of the media acceptance assessment by fourth grade teachers reached a percentage of 94.44% with the criteria of "very good", then the results of field trials from fourth grade students reached an average of 93.68% with the criteria of "very good".

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of social media on student morale. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. The subjects in this study were homeroom teachers of class V and students of class V. The approach used was a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of the study are that at the State School Zero Empat Payaraman the use of social media is not exempt, because the impact of the use of social media in the school environment greatly affects all aspects, both aspects of achievement and enthusiasm for learning. With the use of social media in the school environment, students are only busy or focused on smartphones. The use of social media, of course, has a lot of impact on its users, both positive and negative impacts. There are many positive impacts of social media when it comes to children's education, one of which is that children can learn how to adapt, socialize with the public and manage friendship networks in learning activities.

Abstract

The ability to analyze scientific articles is important for students to have to complete their studies. This study aimed to describe the ability to analyze scientific articles of fifth-semester students of PGMI IAIN Sorong, which was measured based on the ability to recognize the rhetorical move of articles. The research design was in the form of a survey with a sample of 28 students. The study results, which were analyzed using the percentage technique, showed that the analytical ability of the fifth-semester students of PGMI IAIN Sorong was still low in identifying the rhetorical movement of articles. The objective aspect (85.71% correct answer) and conclusion (75% correct answer) are the easiest aspects to identify, followed by the implication aspect (53.57% correct answer), while the motive, support, counterargument, and refutation aspects (0% correct answer)  could not be identified.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the level of effectiveness of online learning through Microsoft Sway on learning outcomes for the Theme of 9 objects around us, Sub-theme of 2 objects in the economic activities of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Kacangan. The type of research used is quantitative. The population in the study were all fifth grade students at SDN 1 Kacangan, Blora Regency. The research method used is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were obtained during the learning process and pre-test post-test. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes V SDN 1 Kacangan. This is evidenced from the results of the hypothesis by using paired t-test with a level of 5%, namely T-count as much as 9.9456 and T-table as much as 2.0555, proving that T-count > T-table so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of online learning through Microsoft Sway. Theme 9 Objects Around Us Sub-theme 2 Objects in Economic Activities on student learning outcomes in class V SDN 1 Kacangan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher perceptions of online learning and the implementation of online learning in SD Negeri 1 Tajemsari. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research data sources consist of informants and documents collected through in-depth interviews, documentation and observation techniques. The data validity technique used is source triangulation. The results showed that teacher perceptions were formed through the teacher's process of seeking information about online learning, adapting to online learning, and evaluating the implementation of online learning. The teacher's perception of online learning is influenced by the teacher's experience. This also affects the way teachers implement online learning in elementary schools. The implementation of online learning consists of planning, implementation, and assessment. Teachers have not been able to carry out learning according to process standards. The learning methods used vary according to the teacher's perspective on online learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of awareness of parents about the importance of providing effective parenting for children, especially for children who are left to wander and to find out how the learning outcomes of children who are left wandering. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a descriptive percentage approach. The subjects of the study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sendang Kulon whose parents went abroad and parents or guardians of students who took care of their children at home. Based on data collection using interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, the results showed that there were three parenting patterns applied by parents or guardians to students who were left to wander, including 71.4% of the parenting styles tended to be democratic, 14, 3% of parenting tend to be authoritarian, and 14.3% of parenting tend to be permissive. Students with democratic parenting tend to have good and very good learning outcomes. Students with authoritarian parenting tend to have good learning outcomes. And students with permissive parenting tend to have good learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that giving good parenting to children can make it easier to improve children's learning outcomes.

Abstract

The current increase in the danger status of COVID-19 requires that there is a restriction (lockdown) on the spread of COVID-19 which is getting bigger by the day,making face-to-face teaching and learning activities change by implementing Work From Home (WFH) using an online learning system for a longer period of time.The concept of the 2013 curriculum is expected to provide a balance of competency characteristics from the knowledge aspect,attitude aspect,and skills aspect that can balance these three aspects.There is a decrease in performance in every aspect.The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach.The stage of achievement in the ability aspect of knowledge from C1,C2,C3 to C4.The stage of achievement on the ability aspect of the attitude from A1,A2, to A3.The stage of achievement in the ability aspect of skills from P3 to P4.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the difficulty of learning on ipa material, knowing the factors that cause IPA material learning difficulties. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods using interview techniques, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the findings found there are six students who have difficulty learning IPA. Internal factors that affect IPA learning difficulties are due to lack of health, body defects, low intelligence, low student interest in learning and less learning motivation. External factors that affect IPA learning difficulties are the way parents educate children less optimally, the lack of parental attention to student learning activities, parents and children's relationships are not good, the atmosphere of the house that interferes with student concentration while studying, the undisciplined learning, and the influence of mass media and associates who are less supportive of learning culture. Based on the results of research advice that can be delivered, the teacher must provide motivation that can increase learning interest and teachers must be able to detect learning problems that occur in their class. Parents are expected to pay attention to the development of their children's learning both in school and at home.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary school is a subject that must be studied by students. Mathematics has benefits that students can feel for themselves, especially in students' lives. Students of SD N Gayamsari 01 have difficulty writing number symbols, understanding place values, and difficulty in arithmetic operations. The purpose of the study was to describe what learning difficulties were experienced by class II students in the place value material at SD N Gayamsari 01 Semarang and to describe what factors caused learning difficulties for class II students in the place value material at SD N Gayamsari 01 Semarang. Collecting data obtained by observation, tests, interviews and documentation.The difficulties experienced by the second grade students of the Gayamsari State Elementary School in the place value material, namely errors in accuracy, understanding the concept and the calculation process. Factors that cause student difficulties are caused by internal and external factors. Internal factors of students include intellectual and emotional factors such as self-confidence, interest in learning and motivation to learn. While the external factors of students include the teacher's clarity in explaining, class conditions and family environment.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this research are the validity and feasibility of Microsoft PowerPoint for class V Theme 3 Subtheme 1 in Elementary School. This type of research is research development Research and Development (R & D) is a research method used to make a product and test the effectiveness of the product only to a limited trial or only at stage six of the ten steps of the Borg & Gall model, namely Research and information collecting, Planning, Develop preliminary form of product, Preliminary field testing, Main product revision, Main field testing. The subjects of this research are teachers and students of SD Negeri Giling 01. This research is based on the aim of developing interactive learning media based on Microsoft powerpoint that is suitable for use by elementary school students. The research method used is the Borg and Gall method with six steps out of ten research steps. The analysis technique in this study uses observation, interviews, and questionnaire responses. The results of the research, the media tested, is very feasible and efficient to be a learning medium in class V Elementary School.
