Abstract

Pneunomia is infection in lower respiratory tract and it is a health problem in the world because of its high number of death, predicted more than 2 million of children under five years death because of pneumonia compared to other diseases. Pneumonia on baby and children under five years caused by bacteria and virus andinfluenced by some factors, such as environmental factor,child individual factor and behavioral factor. Environmental factors consist of house condition covers density of the house, ventilation, humidity, lighting, and air pollution in the house. For child individual factors cover child age, birth weight, nutritional status, immunization status, and giving vitamin A. Behavioral factors cover parents’ knowledge, immediate action to disease and coverage of health services. This study aimed to know the factors which influenced pneumonia occurrence on children under five at working area of Guntung Payung Health Center of Banjarbaru in 2013. This study used analytic survey method with cross-sectional approach. Population in this study was all children under five in working area of Guntung Payung Health Center of Banjarbaru in 2013 with 92 respondents. Based on the result of chi-square test showed there was no correlation among, age, birth weight and giving vitamin A with pneumonia occurrence on children under five age. Whereas, there was correlation between immunization status of children under five and pneumonia occurrence at Guntung Payung Health Center of Banjarbaru in 2013.

Abstract

Background, achieve optimal growth and development, in the Global Strategy for Infant and Young Child Feeding, WHO / UNICEF recommend four important things to do, those are, first giving breast milk to the infant immediately within 30 minutes after the baby has born and then exclusive breastfeeding from birth until 6 months old infant, the third is supplement feeding (MP-ASI) since infants aged 6 months to 24 months besides breastfeeding, and continue breastfeeding until 24 months or more. Fact, there are still many mothers who are not breastfeed their babies exclusively, more than 50% infants in Indonesia have got extra food prematurely. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of mother’s knowledge about feeding in 0-6 months old infants. This is a descriptive study. Research sites in the Karang Bintang Public Health Centre, the sample study were mothers with babies 0-6 months ie 55 people. With the sampling method is Accidental sampling. Results showed that mother's knowledge of supplement feeding in infants aged 0-6 months in the Work Area of Karang Bintang Public Health Center in 2013 is just a few mothers who have good knowledge of infant feeding, which is 11 mothers (20.0%), while enough knowledge is 19 mothers (34.5%) and a less knowledge only 25 mothers (45.5%).

Abstract

Anemia is a period of erythrocyte or circulating hemoglobin insufficient to its function to provide oxygen for body tissues. Laboratory, anemia is described as a decrease in hemoglobin levels and erythrocyte count and hematocrit below normal. The onset of anemia indicates bone marrow failure or excessive red blood cell loss.The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the incidence of anemia in horticultural farmers. This research is an analytical survey with cross sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 50 horticultural farmers in Banjarbaru Landasan Ulin Utara RT. 07 by taking samples using total sampling, which means the amount of sample is 50 respondents. Data on hemoglobin levels were obtained through laboratory tests in the basic laboratory of Banjarmasin Office and data on age, frequency of spraying and spraying duration were obtained by interview using questionnaires while completeness data on APD by observation. The results of data collection were analyzed using univariate, bivariate statistics with Che Square statistical tests using computer program aids with a 95% confidence level. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the variables that were not statistically significantly associated with the incidence of anemia in horticultural farmers were age, APD completeness, spraying frequency and spraying duration with p-value > (α) 0.05. Based on the results of these conclusions, it is recommended to conduct further research studies on the risk factors for the incident of anemia in horticultural farmers from the aspect of topographical factors of the place of study, rest factors and nutritional status.

Abstract

Surgery patient’s clinical data at inpatient medical record in Bhayangkara Tk. III Hoegeng Imam Santoso Banjarmasin Hospital is illegible especially at operation report and course of disease physician instruction form. Moreover, also found incompleteness of clinical data especially at discharge summary.The qualified clinical data consist by seven criteria, is legible, reliable, precise, complete, consistent, clear, and timely.The purpose of this research is to find the surgery patient’s clinical data quality on inpatient medical record. This research is descriptive research, use saturated sampling technique with surgery patient’s inpatient medical record as the population and 79 surgery patient’s inpatient medical record, with data collection methods observation, documentation study, and interview, use univariate analysis and presented in tabular and textural.The result from 79 surgery patient’s inpatient medical record shows the percentage of patient’s clinical data quality is 73,61% (good) consist legibility85,4% (very good), reliability 100% (very good), precise 100% (very good), completeness 67,5% (good), consistency 17,7% (very less), clear 89,87% (very good) and timely 89,7% (adequate).

Abstract

Tetanus toxoid immunization to prevent tetanus useful for women of childbearing age and pregnant women. Tetanus cases found in tropical countries and countries that still have low health condition. WHO data shows, deaths from tetanus in developing countries 135 times higher than advanced countries. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women with tetanus toxoid immunization completeness in Public Health Center of Lokbaintan in 2013. Type a descriptive analytic study. The design of this study used a cross-sectional approach. Population in this research that all pregnant women with gestational age of three semester (28-37 weeks) in Public Health Center of Lokbaintan in 2013, amounting to 206 pregnant women. Samples were taken using random sampling techniques were 58 subjects. The result showed that the majority of respondents have sufficient knowledge of the 25 (43.1%), the majority of respondents have a positive attitude that is 38 (65.5%), most respondents did not complete the immunization of 37 (63.8%) and complete the 21 (36.2%). No association with complete knowledge of tetanus toxoid immunization Pregnant women (p = 0.164 > α = 0,05).The higher level of knowledge of the propensity of pregnant women pregnant women to do the higher tetanus toxoid immunization. No association with the attitude of tetanus toxoid immunization completeness Pregnant women (p = 0.062 > α = 0,05). The more positive attitude held pregnant women pregnant women the tendency to do the higher tetanus toxoid immunization. More mothers are expected to find the right information about the tetanus toxoid, the benefits, side effects, the impact of not getting immunized when tetanus toxoid and so forth. Mother in order to get immunity during pregnancy and protected from infection during childbirth for both mother and baby will be born.

Abstract

Tract disease (infection of the respiratory tract acute) covers acute infection the respiratory tract the top and the respiratory tract the bottom. Eradications of tract disease are divided into tract disease non pneumonia, pneumonia, and heavy pneumonia. Based on data from the Public Health Office of Banjarmasin City 2015, are included in the largest disease who figures it happens is relatively very high. In 2015 cases tract age 1 years reached 14.493 patients. 1-4 years of age 35.503 patients and the days of 5 years 53.275 patients. The kind of research used is research observational by using design cross sectional. Population in this research is all the mothers that have toddler who treatment at poly a child at October 2015 affected by tract as many as 280 cases in the work area of Puskesmas Pelambuan Banjarmasin city. The sample as many as 74 respondents, data collection taken a random sampling. The data collection was done by distributing the questionnaire, interviews and direct observation into the homes and see books registers on poly children Puskesmas Pelambuan. Research in test statistically by chi square test on the levels of trust 95 %. The results of research on 74 respondents indicated that there was a correlation of knowledge p-value 0,001, there was a correlation attitude p-value 0,000, and there was a correlation the use of repellent fuel p-value 0,000 with the tract genesis in toddlers in the work area of Puskesmas Pelambuan 2016. Advice for Puskesmas to evaluate policy one program related to the Community Service especially tract program, for respondents are expected to be more for their and cleanliness environment in efforts to prevent tract and to minimize the use of repellent fuel at home

Abstract

TB creates a substantial and costly economic burden. A consumer perspective, health expenditure include direct costs and indirect costs as well as lost revenues. The burden borne by TB patients will result in the poorest people not being able to afford treatment without reallocation their resources. The aim of study was to calculate the cost of illness by patients and household due to TB in Bengkulu City from pre treatment and treatment period. Study used a cross sectional approach, with smear positive pulmonary TB Patients. Sample of the study was 71 respondents. Cost of TB treatment were measured by direct costs and indirect costs from patient perspective was obtained by conducting interviews and questionnaires. The study found that the direct costs per TB patients in the city of Bengkulu was Rp 2.125.200, -. the causes of high direct costs are hospitalization, treatment and pre-treatment costs, while indirect costs are Rp 5,134,400,-. the higher indirect costs component was patients income loss,followed caregiver income loss. Indirect costs due to premature death was Rp 486,000,000.- and the health expenditure of TB Patients in Bengkulu City was Rp 12.970.900/episode (51%) of the average household income.

Abstract

Hypertension is a medical condition in which a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal. The common thing that occurs in patients with hypertension that is the lack of knowledge about hypertension and sodium consumption. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge and consumption of sodium on blood pressure of hypertensive patients. The study design used is cross sectional, the study population was all patients with hypertension in the Cempaka Health Center. The sample was 75 respondents, while sampling was done by a purposive sampling method. Respondent’s data of sodium intake and level of knowledge obtained from an interview with a questionnaire method for knowledge and food recall for sodium intake data. Blood pressure data obtained from the measurement results using a sphygmomanometer. Based on the results of statistical tests (chi-square test) found that there was no correlation between the level of knowledge with blood pressure (p=0,151) and there is a correlation between the level of sodium intake with blood pressure (p=0,000). From the results of this study concluded that although there was no significant correlation between knowledge and blood pressure, a better knowledge of the disease can help prevent and making treatment more effective. Keeping sodium intake will have a considerable influence in lowering blood pressure.

Abstract

Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM) is the cause of anemia, bleeding, abnormal maternal weight and maternal infection. Research aim to portray the diversity of food consumption of pregnant women in Work Area Public Health Center GuntungPayung in 2013. Research design used a descriptive approach to the method of survey. The population study is pregnant women in the working area health centers. Method sample use Random Sampling Systematic with 79 respondents. The results showed as many as 56 respondents consume staple foods 3-4 (70.6%) cover, staple food rice 79 respondents (100%), maize 27 respondents (34.2%), and sago Tuber 37 respondents (34 , 2%), Wheat 43 respondents (54.4%). A total of 44 respondents consume more than 4 types of food side dishes (55.6%), chicken meat (90%), eggs (64.6%), tilapia (39.2%), anchovies (45.6%) , Tofu (87,3%), soybean (87.3%). A total of 59 respondents consume more than 4 kinds of vegetables (87.4%), spinach (77.2%), cinnamon leaf (49.4%), cassava leaves (74.7%), papaya (59.5%), eggplant (44.3%). A total of 45 respondents consumed more than four types of fruit (56.9%),including: apple (31.6%), bananas (57%), papaya (63.3%), watermelon (59.5%), oranges ( 46.8%), mango (29.1%), guava (34.2%), yip (30.4%), and oil (36.7%), Food dietary restrictions in pregnant women. There are no restrictions as much as 74 respondents (93.7%), abstinence sea fish (3.9%), shrimp (2.5%).

Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the hemoglobin level in the blood is reduced or lower than normal which is less than 11.0 gr/dl. Cases of iron deficiency anaemia in pregnant women in Barito Kuala District Tabunganen Public Health Center Work Area by 71.2% with the number 2 ranked highest of the 19 health centers located in Barito Kuala. This research aims to study and explain the relationship of education, knowledge and support her husband with the incidence anaemia in pregnant women in Barito Kuala District Tabunganen Public Health Center Work Area. This research is an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The sample of the as many as 81 respondents with the sample collection in purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire, the results of data collection were analyzed using univariate statistics, bivariate with chi square test using a computer program tools. So the results obtained that respondents who suffer from anaemia of 65.4%. Variables significantly associated with the incidence anaemia (p-value < 0.05) is education, knowledge, and support her husband. Suggestion given is increasing knowledge by way of counseling to the pregnant women and the husband on the importance of maintain the health of mothers during pregnancy by means of inspections pregnancy with regular, especially examination of levels of hemoglobin.
