Abstract

This study aims to describe and find out the process of increasing the learning outcomes of learning Indonesian in the material discussing problems in news texts or articles of class X students of SMA Negeri 8 Merangin. This research is a classroom action research. The results of this study indicate that the cooperative learning model can increase student creativity both in the learning process and the results of achieving basic competencies in the material discussing news text problems or articles of class X students of SMA Negeri 8 Merangin. Completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle only reached 35.7% complete, this has not yet reached the level of research success, then was carried out again in the second cycle and obtained 85.7% of the 28 research samples, students who completed the learning.

Abstract

Letters convey information related to the educational, learning, and social processes in the school environment, especially elementary schools. Besides, letters are data or information centers that are very useful in the ongoing education process, especially in elementary schools. Therefore, from the start of making and filing letters need special attention, so that information or data can be accounted for formally. For that, we need good correspondence management for each school, especially elementary schools. The purpose of this article is to provide information on how to describe correspondence management at the elementary school level in Pagaden sub-district, Subang district, West Java province through interviews and direct observation.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of developing interpersonal intelligence through learning music to create humanistic learning. Through the mixed method research design with explanatory, this research uses qualitative i.e. observation and interviews to interpret the results of quantitative analysis obtained from the tests and question form. The population in this research is the entire learner’s grades 1-3 SD Negeri Banyuurip Purworejo totaled 107 and sample a number of 32 students. Research results through an analysis of the correlation of product moment to mention that the higher the musical ability of the higher intelligence anyway. Interpersonal intelligence necessary to create humanistic learning where students understand their environment and themselves through learning music that aims to foster a sense and sensibility on themselves and also the surrounding environment. Music learning experience gives the learners to develop the ability of its music that leads to acceptance of its sense of musical ability with regard to sensitivity, feeling and appreciation of music without having to play musical instruments skillfully.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of achievement motivation, leg power, and agility towards lay-up shooting skills in basketball game. The research uses the path analysis method. The results of small group trials for the achievement motivation questionnaire instrument for 89 statements were declared valid from 116 statements, for leg power instruments using the Vertical Jump Test, for agility instruments using the Illinois Agility Test, and for the Lay-Up Shooting instrument of the 7 stages tested all were declared valid, All instruments have been validated by an expert and declared Valid. For the results of testing large groups stated achievement motivation (X1) significantly influenced the lay-up shooting skill (Y) with a contribution of 33.4%, leg power (X2) significantly influenced the lay-up shooting skill (Y) with a contribution of 24.2%, agility (X3) has a significant effect on lay-up shooting skills (Y) with a contribution of 27.3%, achievement motivation (X1) has a significant effect on leg power (X2) with a contribution of 97.8, achievement motivation (X1) has a significant effect on agility ( X3) with a contribution of 95.4%, leg power (X2) has a significant effect on agility (X3) with a contribution of 90.1%. It was concluded that achievement motivation, leg power, and agility had an influence on lay-up shooting skills in basketball.

Abstract

Sektor Pendidikan merupakan instrumen penting dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa karena sumber dari segala sumber kemajuan suatu bangsa bermula melalui Pendidikan. Pembelajaran merupakan proses interaksi peserta didik dengan pendidik. Hal ini harus didukung dengan proses perolehan ilmu dan pengetahuan, penguasaan kemahiran dan tabiat, serta pembentukan sikap dan kepercayaan yang membuat peserta didik tertarik belajar. Penutupan sementara lembaga pendidikan sebagai upaya menahan penyebaran pendemi Covid-19 di seluruh dunia berdampak pada jutaan pelajar. Gangguan dalam proses belajar langsung antara siswa dan guru dan pembatalan penilaian belajar berdampak pada psikologis anak didik dan menurunnya kualitas keterampilan murid. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian kali ini metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hal ini digunakan untuk mendefinisikan pendekatan atau penelusuran untuk mengeksplorasi dan memahami suatu gejala sentral. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 2 Batembat kecamatan Tengah tani kabupaten Cirebon. Temuan atau hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil kepuasan perserta didik selama melaksanakan proses pembelajaran hal ini dapat di definisikan kedalam metode pembelajaran apa saja yang cocok digunakan pada siswa sekolah dasar di SDN 2 batembat.

Abstract

Scout is an outdoor activity. With the existence scout at schools, it is hoped that it can help students to increase their creativity, so that they can produce quality students who can compete in. This study aimed to (1) how the scouting activities as a place to increase the creativity of students in MTS 2 Darul Aitam Mengkuru. (2) what is the strategy to develop the creativity of students through scouting activities at MTS 2 Darul Aitam Mengkuru. By using a qualitative approach with a case study approach. The data sources consisted of 8 scout members and 4 trainers, school principals, and scout coaches. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is an interactive method. The results of the study found that the scouting activities carried out to develop and realize the creativity of MTS 2 Darul Aitam Mengkuru students included several activities including: rigging, ciphering, work cubes and LKBB creations. Then, the strategy to increase the creativity the students At MTS 2 Darul Aitam Mengkuru are create a fun and fun learning atmosphere, become a coach as well as a friend, students are given freedom in creating, and with regular guidance

Abstract

The researcher chooses this title because she found students who have difficulties to start writing at tenth grade students in SMAN 1 Mandirancan. Therefore, the aimed of the research are to know the students’ responses toward Journalistic Questions Method and to know how Journalistic Questions can be applied in teaching writing recount text at tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Mandirancan. The research was conducted using the descriptive qualitative method. The participant of this research was the second semester of X social 3, academic year 2019/2020. The data were gathered from the writing practice using journalistic questions method in the recount text. There are two instruments used in this research, i.e. interview and documentation. In conclusion, using Journalistic questions method has positive responses for students and be able to facilitate the students in writing learning process.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to untangle how an English teacher in the classroom carries out the transitivity process. Based on this point of view, the research focuses on realizing the transitivity process by an English teacher in class. The methodology implemented for this study is a qualitative descriptive. The researchers consider the method is consistent with this research because it is naturally occurring. The results and discussion of this research are that the researcher met all forms of transitivity such as material processes (8), mental processes (9), verbal processes (7), relational processes (6), behavioral processes (2), and existential processes (5). Established along with the discussion of these determinations, the researchers found that the most astounding number was mental affection. What does it mean? The English teacher emphasizes that students promote their affection and thoughts when they act. The bottom line is that the English teacher focuses on mental processes. The teacher triggered students' affection and cognition to realize their perceptual experiences and desires, and et cetera.

Abstract

Majelis taklim is one of the non-formal educational institutions that has a major contribution in developing and fostering Islamic religious knowledge. Majelis taklim in Indonesia have developed rapidly in society, ranging from a few members to thousands of members. One of the taklim assemblies that took part in Cintaasih Village, Pangkalan District, Karawang Regency, namely the Sunday morning recitation which is managed by the Bakan Pedes Darussalam Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to describe the role of the Sunday morning recitation in Cintaasih Village in increasing religious understanding. This study uses a qualitative approach because the data obtained is processed and explained in the author's study. In obtaining data, the author uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data in this study include primary data sources, namely the results of interviews with caregivers, administrators and several Sunday morning recitation congregations in Cintaasih Village, as well as secondary data sources derived from documentation of activities. As for the findings of the role of the Sunday morning recitation in Cintaasih Village in increasing religious understanding, namely: (1) Fostering the faith of the congregation, after attending this Sunday morning recitation the congregation felt an increase in faith. (2) Fostering families in realizing the sakinah family through bahsul masail activities on Sunday legi. (3) Empowerment of the duafa by holding orphanage assistance activities every Muharram month. (4) Increasing the household economy with the large number of congregations participating in the Koran while selling. (5) As a place to study religious knowledge, so as to increase religious understanding. (6) Fostering harmony among the people with friendship

Abstract

This study reveals about students’ difficulties in English pronunciation experienced by learners whose first language is Indonesia language. The subjects of this study were the seventh grade of students at SMP Islam Terpadu Dhuafa Merangin especially class B. They were males.  The instruments of this study were task, interview and recording. In analyzing the data, the researcher used descriptively and statistically. The findings of this study showed that the students had problems in pronunciation because of their had low motivation, exposure and their attitude in learning English pronunciation. It could be seen from the result of the task when the researcher asked them to pronunce the English words and the result of interview.
