Abstract

The purpose of making this thesis is to determine the obedience and violations of politeness according to Leech's theory, in addition to knowing the causes of language violations according to the Pranowo theory in chaer, and to describe the implications of language politeness on learning Indonesian. The amount of data to be analyzed is four different news themes, with the total number of comets being two hundred and one comments. In this study, the method used is a qualitative method that produces descriptive data. In data collection, the authors used the listening technique, namely speaking free and followed by note-taking techniques. Furthermore, it is described by providing analysis and then given the final conclusion, and this language politeness can be implicated as teaching material for junior high school teachers in Indonesian language learning. The results of this study show that from all data one, two, three and four that comply with Leech's politeness, eighty-nine comments are obtained, and from all data one, two, three and four that violate Leech's politeness, sixty-eight comments data are obtained. Meanwhile, in general, the causes of violations of language politeness are two direct critical comments with harsh words, four comments that encourage the speaker's emotional feeling, one speech is protective of the opinion, one comment is deliberately accusing the interlocutor, two comments deliberatelycornering the speech partner. Language politeness can be implicated in junior high school teachers in Indonesian language learning, which is related to the response text material, this response text material is found in chapter four in grade nine odd semesters. Abstract

This study aims to improve students' reading habits in social studies learning through the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). This research is a classroom action research (CAR) held for class VII-C students of SMP Negeri 1 Sukasari in the 2019/2020 academic year, consisting of 41 students. CAR design refers to the model developed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four activities: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting cycles. The criteria for the success of the action if most or at least 70% of students have good reading habits. The results showed that: 1) The reading frequency of students in the first cycle was 56% and in the second cycle was 65%, 2) The reading intensity of the students in the first cycle was 56%, and in the second cycle was 74%, 3) The students' reading interest in the first cycle is 67%, and in the second cycle is 76%, 4) The accuracy of students' reading strategies in the first cycle is 63%, and in the second cycle is 76%, and 5) The diversity of students' reading types in the first cycle is 61%, and in the second cycle by 84%. Thus, the average percentage of students' reading habits in the first cycle was 61%, while in the second cycle, it was 75%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan pengetahuan/ literasi dan numerasi gizi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada masa pandemi Covid-19 menggunakan metode flipped classroom. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek penelitian yang dikenai tindakan adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 4 SMA Negeri 1 Fakfak Papua Barat yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Adapun obyek penelitian adalah pengetahuan dan numerasi gizi siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif menggunakan model alur yaitu data dianalisis sejak tindakan diberikan dan dikembangkan selama proses pembelajaran baik secara daring maupun tatap muka. Alur analisis meliputi reduksi dan penyajian data. Validitas data diperoleh menggunakan teknik triangulasi: sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan literasi/pengetahuan dan numerasi gizi siswa. Peningkatan pengetahuan gizi siswa ditunjukkan dengan naiknya persentase skor tes terhadap skor maksimal. Pada siklus pertama rerata skor pretes sebelum dilakukan tindakan dari 8,03% menjadi 43,42% setelah diberi tindakan, atau naik sebesar 35,59%. Pada siklus kedua, persentase rerata skor postes setelah diberi tindakan menjadi 54,94% atau naik sebesar 11,31%. Sementara numerasi gizi meski baru dapat diukur pada siklus kedua namun persentase rerata numerasi siswa diperoleh sebesar 78,21% dari skor maksimal.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study aims to evaluate the implementation of education in higher education by observing the relevance of the graduate's occupation with the Study Program. The data analyzed is tracer study data obtained from the Career Development Division at one of the leading higher education in Indonesia. The data records 2561 profiles of graduates from the 2010 batch, and 1566 of them have jobs in various fields, while the other 995 graduates are unemployment or continuing their studies. Data analyzed by performing correspondence analysis. The output of this method produces a graphical display of the data in a correspondence plot. The plot displays information about the association's structure between the relevance of the graduate's occupation and the Study Program. The result shows that 69.97% of graduates have jobs that are relevant to the field of study, with the most corporation area (16%), specifically in the industry field (category C), and the most job description (22%) in the research and development division. The results of this study, in general, can be used as recommendations in evaluating the implementation of education in higher education, especially in managing career development programs for graduates.

Abstract

This study has the following objectives: 1) measuring the increase in students' mathematical abilities who learn through Project-based Learning assisted by Geogebra software compared to students who learn through ordinary learning; 2) measuring the achievement of students' mathematical representation abilities who learn through Project-based Learning assisted by Geogebra software compared to students who learn through ordinary learning; 3) measuring the average achievement of students' mathematical representation abilities who learn through Project-based Learning assisted by Geogebra software compared to the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) for mathematics of 75. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design, which was conducted on students class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Telukjambe Timur with the subject Integral. The results of the study show that: 1) the increase in students' mathematical representation abilities who learn through Project-based Learning assisted by Geogebra software is better than students who learn through ordinary learning. 2) the achievement of mathematical representation abilities of students who learn through Project-based Learning assisted by Geogebra software is better than students who learn through ordinary learning. 3) the average achievement of students' mathematical representation abilities who learn through Project-based Learning assisted by Geogebra software reaches KKM 75. Abstract

The psychological impact of a pandemic is one focus that cannot be ignored. One of the objects most impacted is students (in this study, it is focused on university students). The covid-19 pandemic has changed everything that could previously be held face-to-face into online learning. Mobility is forced to be reduced; students are asked to be more independent and must be able to adapt quickly to online learning methods. These changes cause many psychological impacts that arise, starting from positive, negative, and behavioural changes. This study provides an overview of the psychological effects of students on learning during the pandemic. The view regarding the gender of students, whether it impacts the psychological impact, is also considered in this study. The most important thing discussed is grouping the psychological effects on students into several factors using factor analysis. The data used is questionnaire data to students who experience learning methods from offline to online learning. The results show consecutively two, three, and four main factors: positive impact, negative impact, and behaviour change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara domisili mahasiswa terhadap dampak psikologi yang dirasakan selama pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi menggunakan analisis korespondensi. Beberapa dampak yang dirasakan mahasiswa yaitu rasa khawatir, takut, sedih, marah, merasa bersalah, terlalu banyak menghabiskan waktu serta banyak meluangkan waktu. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh beebrapa dampak yang sangat dominan dirasakan oleh mahasiswa, yaitu rasa khawatir, takut, sedih dan marah. Dampak-dampak tersebut sebagian besar dirasakan oleh mahasiswa yang berdomisili di Kabupaten Melawi, Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu dan Kabupaten Landak. Hal ini dikarenakan lokasi kabupaten yang jauh dari pusat kota, sehingga sangat berpengaruh pada kondisi jaringan internet yang merupakan komponen penting pada pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

According to Permendikbud Number 15 of 2020, to prevent the spread and transmission of Covid-19, classroom learning is shifted to distance learning by utilizing digital-based technology. One of them is by using Digital Picture Books as a means of learning English, especially for young learners. However, with the rapid advancement of information and communication technology, it is a challenge for teachers to be careful in selecting digital books that match the criteria in the purpose of learning English. To answer these problems, this paper discusses how to use digital books for distance learning, especially for young English learners or teachers and parents as well as popular genre that can help the teaching and learning process become more effective and efficient. So that its use becomes something more than just a book, namely as a medium in improving English learning in distance learning. The research uses the literature study method by utilizing sites related to this paper.

Abstract

Pengembangan model ini dilator belakangi oleh adanya kesenjangan antara tujuan ideal pendidikan multikeasaraan dengan kondisi empiris di tingkat satuan PNF yang masih cenderung konvensional. Pendekatan penelitian secara kuantitatif melalui prosedur penelitian dan pengembangan dengan metode quasi experiment dan teknik rancangan one group pretest-posttest only design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, tes, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Proses pengembangan model dilakukan melalui tujuh tahapan yaitu studi pendahuluan, penyusunan konseptual model, ujicoba konseptual, ujicoba operasional, validasi model, pembakuan model, dan sosialisasi model hasil pembakuan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat kemenarikan naskah model dan panduan model sebesar 63,3% sangat menarik, keterlaksanaan model 81,7% sangat baik, dan efektivitas model diperoleh hasil dari pretest tidak signifikan perbedaannya antara kelompok kontrol dengan eksperimen dari tiga lokasi yaitu PKBM Hati Nurani (4%), PKBM Bina Remaja (2%) dan PKBM Mandiri (2%). Sedangkan hasil postest antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan diperoleh hasil yang signifikan dengan t-hitung di PKBM Hati Nurani (3,08), PKBM Bina Remaja (3,77) dan PKBM Mandiri (3,85). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran pendidikan multikeaksaraan berbasis proyek efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan keberaksaraan dengan ragam kemahiran lokal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain (1) educational opportunities and challenges in the industrial revolution era 4.0, (2) the concept of effective school organization, (3) the characteristics of effective school organization, (4) efforts to make schools effective, (5) effective leadership of school organizations in the industrial revolution era 4.0, (6) effective school organization management systems, (7) school technological innovation in the industrial revolution 4.0 era, and (8) the potential for effective schools in the future. This research uses the literature research method which is the method obtained from research by reading, researching and studying national books and articles that are relevant to the concept of effective school organization in the industrial revolution era 4.0. Based on the results of the literature study found an explanation of the challenges and education in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the concept of effective school organization, the characteristics of effective school organizations, the struggle to make schools effective, organizational leadership in the industrial revolution era 4.0, effective school organization management systems, school technology innovation in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, and the potential for effective schools in the future.
