Abstract

The instructional media used in online learning for reading folklore lacks variety. Additionally, folklore derived from the cultural wisdom of the surrounding area has not been utilized in teaching folklore reading and remains unknown to learners. In response to these issues, learners require more diverse instructional media that can incorporate folklore from Toyomarto Village. This research aims to develop instructional media based on the wisdom of Toyomarto Village for teaching folklore reading in terms of content appropriateness, language, and presentation systematics. This development research employs the ADDIE model. The results of this research, including validation tests for content appropriateness, language, presentation systematics, practitioner evaluation, and small- and large-scale trials, all received a 'very good' category. The final percentage for each test was 96.88%, 92.86%, 100%, 98.39%, and 88.12%, as well as 85.12%. Based on the validation and product testing results, Yuk Bariya comic is deemed suitable for teaching folklore reading.

Data analysis was carried out using the VOSviewer bibliometric. The results showed that the highest number of publications with Google Scholar metadata sources occurred in 2021 and 2022, namely 20 article titles. The highest number of publications from Scopus metadata sources is in 2021. Research opportunities related to the use of STEAM in learning Indonesian are still very high because there are no research topics related to the use of STEAM in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

BIPA teaching today uses a text-based approach as an approach that is believed to be able to help students understand Indonesian language texts. This study aims to explain the actualization of M.A.K.Halliday's linguistic flow in text-based BIPA learning. Qualitative descriptive is a research method used with a content analysis approach. The data for this research were obtained from document data and literature studies. Based on an in-depth analysis, seven types of language functions were found according to Halliday's theory, which are contained in the book My Best Friend Indonesia BIPA. The language functions are (1) informational, (2) directive, (3) contextual, (4) interactional, (5) expressive, (6) poetic, and (7) metalingual. Thus, the book Sahabatku BIPA 7 contains seven language function values, which are in line with Halliday's views in Systemic Functional Linguistics (LFS).

Abstract

This research aimed to describe students’ activities and responses towards applying of Linoit website-based media as a digital portfolio assessment tool in German language learning. This research was held in class XI-2 MIPA SMAN 1 Kedungwaru. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The data used were qualitative data supported by quantitative data. Qualitative data in the form of observation results and quantitative data in the form of questionnaire results were then interpreted into qualitative descriptive. The observation results showed that the use of the website-based media Linoit as a means of digital portfolio assessment was in line with the implementation of the learning design (RPP). The students actively engaged in classroom learning and followed the teacher's instructions to document their learning outcomes and upload them to Linoit as evidence of their digital portfolios. In evaluating the portfolios, the teacher wrote the evaluation results with the help of other media, which were then uploaded to Linoit. The students' responses showed that Linoit could be used as a platform for sharing and learning from each other's learning outcomes uploaded on Linoit. Additionally, the students could easily and quickly manage their learning outcomes through the features available on Linoit. However, Linoit had limitations when used in German language learning, as the essential feature of umlaut characters was not available on the platform. Moreover, the small display of Linoit on mobile phones made it difficult for users to operate its features, requiring additional time for adjustment when using Linoit.
