Abstract

The increasing number of internet users in Indonesia has an impact on the magnitude of public interest in doing online shopping so that there is competition from business people to get top of mind in the community, one way to get top of mind, business people must strengthen their brand. In strengthening brands, the use of social media is one of the things used by business people today, so many marketing campaigns have sprung up so that brands can be known by consumers. To measure the achievement of a marketing campaign, it can generally be seen from the transactions that occur during the marketing campaign, but other than that it can also be done by seeing how many people talk about the marketing campaign on social media. This study uses the Social Network Analysis method to see the top marketing campaigns from Tokopedia and Shopee from public conversations on Twitter social media, namely #ShopeeGajian and #TokopediaWIB. This research data collection was taken using the Netlytic website with a data collection period when the two e-commerce marketing campaigns were run, namely 20-30 April 2021. The results showed that the top campaign from Social Network Analysis formed on Twitter #TokoPediaWIB was superior. Because the most talked about by the public.

Abstract

Communication is the main point to create harmony in social life. Every person has a uniqueness and distinctiveness that is manifested in their communication styles. In the digital era, youtube has become one of the supporting media so that the messages conveyed are more effective, especially to reach the community or the public. Analisa Widyaningrum is a psychologist as well as a public figure who has succeeded in utilizing YouTube's social media as a channel for his message. Analisa is also known as a trainer, educator as well as director & founder at Analisa Personality Development Center (APDC), which is a psychological service center that focuses on mental health and individual self- development. This research uses a qualitative approach. This study is expected to be able to examine how Analisa Widyaningrum when communicating through his YouTube Channel, namely Analisa Channel, as well as knowing the effect of the message conveyed for viewers of Channel Analisa. YouTube is the main source of this research with observation and various libraries. The research was concluded that Analisa Widyaningrum used two communication styles, the equalitarian style (two-way) and the structuring style. While the effects include cognitive effects, affective effects related to attitudes or feelings and conative effects related to actions.

Abstract

The PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) program aims to make women as very important agents for the welfare of families and communities. Kaliboto Village, Wonodadi District, Blitar Regency is one of the villages that is trying to mobilize the participation of the village community by involving PKK. Although the PKK program has been running, there are several problems that occur in it, Among them are human resources that do not yet have the ability to implement, run and guide the community. The next problem is the number of members who do not want to involve themselves in participating in this program. The theory used in this research is Emile Durkheim’s theory of solidarity. This type of research uses qualitative research. The purpose of this research is to find out how solidarity PKK members in supporting development communication and economy in Kaliboto village. The results of this study are that the role of PKK in improving the economy of rural communities towards improving the community's economy is characterized by acquiring knowledge, skills and utilizing these knowledge and skills to solve various problems faced in everyday life, both individually and in groups. In addition, members of the PKK also need community assistance in meeting the raw materials needed to make a craft or handmade. Community empowerment, especially women members of the PKK is part of development communication which is one of the economic improvement strategies carried out based on community participation in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation as well as achieving results.

Abstract

The research was carried out at the Janji Jiwa Cafe Dr Wahidin 05 street Blitar City with the aim of knowing Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and based on the promotional strategies implemented by the company. In addition, this research was conducted to obtain an alternative strategy used by the Janji Jiwa Cafe Dr Wahidin 05 street Blitar City. The approach that researchers use is a qualitative approach. For data collection the approach used in interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, in describing the results of the research, the SWOT matrix is used through analysis of internal factors and factors from the promotion strategy that is applied by providing an overview of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats based on the strategy in promoting the products implemented by the company. The results of the study are based on the SWOT matrix consisting of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats obtained from the company's promotional strategy. The SWOT matrix is used to generate alternative strategic alternatives which are presented with SO strategy, ST strategy, WO strategy, and WT strategy. From the results of the SWOT analysis, the formulation of the right promotion strategy so that the number of company sales can be increased is the SO (Strengths-Opportunities) strategy through Public Relations (public relations).

Abstract

As many paving block factories have been established, manufacturers have to be good at determining prices and product quality in order to win the competition with other companies. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of price and product quality on purchasing decisions for paving blocks at CV. Regan Permata Asia. The research method used by the researcher is a survey technique through quantitative research approach. Researchers applied non-probability sampling with a total sample of 34 respondents. The data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires through Google From to consumers of paving blocks on CV. Regan Permata Asia as respondent. For data management used SPSS version 18 application and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the T test for the price variable showed a significance level of 0.001 <0.05. The product quality variable shows a significance level of 0.012 <0.005. The F-test on the price and product quality variables showed a significance level of 0.001 <0.005. So, the price variable partially has a significant effect on the decision variable to buy paving blocks at CV. Regan Permata Asia. The product quality variable partially has a significant effect on the purchasing decision variable for paving blocks, and the price variable and product quality variable simultaneously have a significant influence on the variable purchasing decisions of paving blocks at CV. Regan Permata Asia. It can be concluded the increasing value of the accuracy of pricing and product quality results in the decision to buy will be further improved

Abstract

Cooking oil is one of the ingredients in the kitchen that must be present. In making a decision to purchase cooking oil, there are several things that buyers pay attention to. In this study, researchers tried to find out whether product quality and price are the two things that influence the purchasing decision of cooking oil. This research was conducted on 35 respondents in the stalls Veteran Street, Blitar City. The tests used in analyzing the results of the questionnaire were classical assumption test and hypothesis testing. The results obtained from the questionnaire data analysis were obtained sig value. of 0.011 and 0.013 respectively for the independent variable product quality and the independent variable price. The F test shows the value of sig. 0.001 for the simultaneous effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The conclusion based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis testing was either partially or simultaneously, the independent variable of product quality and the independent variable of price influence the purchasing decision of cooking oil.

Abstract

Air pollution causes public health problems, especially in vulnerable communities. Air pollution is also a contributor to climate change in Indonesia. To reduce air pollution and the rate of climate change, a group of civil society organizations that are members of Clean Indonesia seeks to build a public plan by using a communication strategy to influence the policies issued by the government to abandon fossil energy as the main cause of air pollution. This research is qualitative by using interviews and in-depth observations of Clean Indonesia. It is concluded that the communication strategy carried out by Bersih Indonesia to build a public agenda uses media advocacy by utilizing interpersonal and mass communication channels. The aim is to optimize persuasion and open up public space for the community. The news regarding the refusal of foreign bank financing to fund fossil energy projects indicates that the expected effect is achieved in public agenda communication. Still, the absence of regulations or policies issued by the government to reduce the use of fossil energy indicates that the effect of public agenda communication to the government has not been achieved.

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, media sosial khususnya youtube memiliki peran dan manfaat yang sangat penting sehingga berpengaruh dalam kehidupan manusia sebagai makhluk hidup, yaitu sebagai wadah berkomunikasi dan agen perubahan. Karena media sosial dapat mempengaruhi masyarakat melalui pesan yang dikemas dalam bentuk hiburan, informasi, promosi, kampanye dan pesan-pesan lainnya yang dapat dijangkau oleh masyarakat luas. Tidak hanya itu, sebagian besar periklanan sudah banyak yang menggunakan Youtube sebagai tempat untuk menyampaikan sebuah promosi dalam bentuk barang, jasa, atapun kampanye. Salah satunya yaitu iklan layanan masyarakat tentang penggunaan masker dikanal Youtube Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia. Di masa pandemi ini, perlunya edukasi dalam menghadapi wabah virus COVID-19. Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia memanfaatkan media sosial menjadi wadah penyampaian informasi tentang COVID-19. Dan diharapkan iklan tersebut mampu mengedukasi masyarakat untuk menghadapi COVID-19. Dengan begitu, penelitian ini mengenai pegaruh iklan layanan masyarakat tentang penggunaan masker dikanal Youtube Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia terhadap kesadaran masyarakat untuk menghadapi COVID-19 menjadi penting. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan paradigma positivistik dan pada tingkat level pengaruh. Sedangkan metode penelitian spesifiknya menggunakan survey. Dengan responden mahasiswa Institute Business and Communication, jurusan periklanan yang mengetahui iklan layanan masyarakat tentang penggunaan masker dikanal Youtube Kemenetrian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia. Stimulus Organism Response adalah teori dalam penelitian ini dengan variabel Independen (X) yaitu iklan layanan masyarakat dan variabel Y yaitu kesadaran. Dan hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh iklan layanan masyarakat tentang penggunaan masker dikanal Youtube Kementrian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia terhadap kesadaran masyarakat dalam menghadapi COVID-19

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the concept of Smart Villages which is trying to be applied to the village of the future. Village conditions in Indonesia from year to year always experience a decline in terms of welfare and also the economy, this is due to uncontrolled urbanization resulting in village conditions getting worse. In the era towards society 5.0, problems related to this village can be overcome by implementing smart village solutions in Indonesian villages. Smart villages are believed to be able to improve village welfare conditions. The research methods used are library research. The results of this study explain that many villages in Indonesia are not ready to implement this smart village. Due to several factors such as poverty, low literacy, lack of attention to their own area and also problems. There needs to be special attention in the implementation of this smart village, presented in several stages. smart village includes various methods to optimize its implementation, it is necessary to prepare villages and communities to become eco-villages before entering the smart village concept. This study recommends the local village government as well as the community to pay more attention to the smart village concept, because smart villages cannot be generalized to the smart city concept, even though it is a derivative. This can be an initial capital in understanding the smart village concept.

Abstract

Tulungagung Regency as one of the districts that has a considerable potential for marine waters, makes the development of the role of the Fisheries and Marine Sector in Tulungagung Regency, able to absorb labor and help the community's economy. However, in these two years, the production of capture fisheries in Tulungagung Regency has continued to decline. Nevertheless, the Tulungagung Regency Government through the Fisheries Service still has a high commitment to build and improve facilities and infrastructure in an effort to improve the economy of the fishery business community, so that welfare can be realized for the community, especially those engaged in the fisheries business sector. This research uses a qualitative approach method, which is a research step that explores a deeper picture of looking at all activities in their context. Data collection through interview and observation methods. The subjects determined were the Head of the Fisheries Service, the Head of aquaculture, the head of the capture fisheries sector and the fish farming community. The validity of the data is evidenced by the trianggulation of sources through quality analysis which consists of several procedures such as data reduction, presentation and conclusion making.
