Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of financial experience and income level on family financial behavior. This research took place in Yosowingaun village in Manyar Gresik sub-district, which was inhabited by 9490 residents with economic activities including trading, farming, or being employees. Abstract

The research is aimed : 1) to determine the relationship marketing variables that consists of trust, commitment, communication, bonding and satisfaction partial effect on customer loyalty. 2) to determine the relationship marketing variables that consists of trust, commitment, communication, relationship and simultaneously influencing satisfaction on customer loyalty. In this study has six hypotheses to be tested using multiple linear regression. Sampel used in this study were drawn from the Bank BCA Syariah customers consisting of 80 respondents. This research using quantitative methods and sampling techniques incidental. The results of the data processing SPSS version 15. The result of t-test research shows that t < t tabel is -0,441 < 1,993 then the trust is not a positive effect on customer loyality, t count > t tabel is 3,821 > 1,993, this shows that the commitmen has a positive effect on customer loyality, t count > t tabel is 3,468 > 1,993, this show that the communicationt has a positive effect on customer loyality. t count > t table is 2.669> 1.993, then the bond has a positive effect on customer loyalty , t count> t table is 2.691> 1.993, the satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty . The results of the study showed that the test F 25.155 F count> F table 2.33 and the significance of the F values were less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) the trust, commitment, communication, bonding and satisfaction simultaneously influence on customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of compensation, discipline and work experience on employee performance. The number of samples in this study 44 employees at PT. Andre Teknik Mandiri Surabaya. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study conclude that the results of partial compensation test have an effect on and significant to performance, discipline also have an effect and significant to performance and work experience have an effect on and signifikan to performance.

Abstract

Background/ Purpose - To find out what factors influence employee performance at Semen Indonesia International University (UISI). Design / Methodology / Approach - This research is quantitative research. The sample in this study were UISI employees and lecturers who had structural positions at UISI where only lecturers were not used as respondents. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling and obtained a sample of 79 respondents. The data analysis of this study used multiple linear regression analysis using the assistance of the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program as if the statistical data. Results and Discussion - The results of this study found that instrument testing, classic assumption tests, t tests, coefficient of determination (R2) and multiple linear regression analysis on the compensation variable hypothesis, work environment, organizational culture, leadership, motivation and job satisfaction showed no significant influence on employee performance so the hypothesis is rejected. While the variable work discipline shows a significant effect on employee performance. Conclusion - Based on the results of the study prove that all hypotheses are acceptable (compensation, work environment, organizational culture, leadership, motivation and job satisfaction have no significant effect on employee performance. While work discipline variables have a significant effect on employee performance). Research Implications - It is expected that the results of this study can add insight related to improving employee performance to pay attention to aspects of work discipline.

Abstract

Backgorund - East Java is one of the provinces in Indonesia with a very diverse potential for tourist attraction. The tourist attraction is divided into 3 (three) categories, namely nature, culture and special interests. The growth of tourists in East Java has increased over the last few years, placing East Java as one of the provinces with the largest domestic tourist arrivals in Indonesia. One way to sustain growth is by mapping. Aim - This study aims to map domestic tourists (demographic and geographical aspects) in East Java to tourist destinations. The results of the mapping are expected to provide information in determining the target market and can be used as a reference in developing tourism according to tourist needs. Design / methodology / approach - The research subjects are domestic tourists visiting several tourist destinations in East Java. This research is a type of quantitative research. Data collection tool in the form of questionnaires with survey techniques through interviews with respondents. The data collected was then tested for association using crosstabs with the Creamers v method and analyzed using the correspondence analysis technique. Finding - The results showed there were differences in the determination of the category of tourist attractions visited by tourists based on demographic and geographical aspects where the presentation of East Java Province research results was divided into 5 (five) regions. Research implication - The results of this study can be used as a reference for stakeholders in designing development and development policies and tourism marketing programs.

Abstract

Background - Human resources are an important factor in an organization and must be of good quality, that is to have a competent spirit and also perform well. The existing commitment in employees towards the organization is an important instrument for improving employee performance. Organizational culture is a need to be developed in an organization with the aim to be able to overcome all problems that arise. Organizational culture can be said to be good when it can be proven by looking at employee turnover Aim - This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of organizational culture variables, organizational commitment and employee performance. Design / methodology / approach – This research belongs to exploratory field research to explain the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance. The number of respondents involved was 100 respondents, all of whom were employees at the One Stop Integrated Capital and Service Office in East Kalimantan. Research instruments using questionnaires, research analysis using path analysis. Finding – The results prove all paths in this path analysis are significant. Employees in the organization need an understanding of the culture in the organization so that performance increases while there is also an element of commitment that is a variable between the organizational culture and employee performance. Research Implication – In this study has the implication of providing direction for organizational behavior research by taking into account organizational factors and other individual factors that can improve employee performance in the organization. besides that, in subsequent studies can add the variable job satisfaction, motivation. Abstract

Purpose - to find out the extent of satisfaction and the level of loyalty of consumers who have shopped at Tokopedia. Design / Methodology / Approach - In this study, there are two factors that become indifferent for researchers to make reference to independent variables, namely product quality and price. The location of research in Gresik Regency, the number of respondents numbered 100 respondents using purposive sampling method with the provisions of respondents who have made repeated purchases at Tokopedia. The results of this study were analyzed by path analysis and must go through instrument testing, classical assumptions, and then proof of the research hypothesis. Results and Discussion - Based on the results of research that product quality and price have a direct effect on customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction, product quality and price have a direct effect on loyalty to Tokopedia users in Gresik Regency. While product quality and price have an indirect effect on loyalty through consumer satisfaction of Tokopedia users in Gresik Regency. These results prove that product quality has a smaller coefficient on satisfaction and loyalty than the price variable. Consumer satisfaction and loyalty have a significant effect compared to other variables. Testing the path analysis proves that product quality and price affect indirectly on loyalty through satisfaction, but based on the findings the coefficient value of total product quality is smaller than the price variable. Conclusion - Based on the results of the study prove that all hypotheses can be accepted (product quality, price, product quality directly and indirectly affect customer satisfaction and loyalty). Research Implications - it is hoped that the results of this study can add insight to businesses in the field of online business, to pay attention to the quality of products, prices, to foster customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Abstract

Background - Industrial revolution 4.0 make competition between countries will be more competitive. This competition was also felt by PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, which is the market leader in the cement industry in Indonesia. Company that implement corporate culture very well, was reached hundred times growth that companies that don’t consider corporate culture s main concern. Aim – This study aims to mapping the organization culture through OCAI (Organizational Culture Assessment Intstrument. Design / methodology / approach - The sampling technique uses the proportionate stratified random sampling method which consists of 6 General Managers, 20 Senior Managers, 34 Head Section, 33 Head Teams and 13 Staffs. The instrument used in this study was the Organizational Culture Assessment Intstrument (OCAI), which maps organizational culture into four types of organizational culture through six-dimensional measurement, namely dominant characteristics, organizational leadership, employee management, organizational adhesives, and success criteria. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires. Finding - The results of the research show that the dominant culture now perceived is hierarchical culture, and the expected dominant culture is clan culture. The results of the validation from the expert stated that as a state-owned corporation that has a global go vision, the clan culture adopted by employees is irrelevant. Culture that is applied to be more suitable for going global is market culture as the main culture or common culture. Whereas the second culture or dominant sub-culture is a type of cultural hierarchy. Research implication - The existence of this mapping is expected to be an input to management, how management can create a more dominant competitive culture and unite employees with a culture that has been determined by management.

Abstract

Backgorund - The growing middle class society is growing and the growth of shopping centres has now become a phenomenon in Indonesia. The increase in purchasing power is related to the consumptive pattern which is an indicator of the classification of the middle class in a society. Implicitly this can indicate that the development of shopping centres in Indonesia is influenced by the growth of the middle class in Indonesia. Aim - This study aims to examine the relationship between architectural features, interior features, and supporting facilities on shopping value. Design / methodology / approach - This study uses a non-probability sampling method, namely convenience sampling. This study included 130 respondents. Data collected by conducting surveys. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Finding - The results show that two of the three hypotheses are supported. The hypothesis is the relationship between interior features and shopping value, and the relationship between supporting facilities and shopping value. Research Implication – Managerial implications of the results of this study are to encourage increased comfort associated with architectural features such as the lobby or a comfortable entrance position. This increased comfort is also related to the material used in the architecture. Limitation - This research cannot be separated from the limitations of the study as follows. First, this study uses a non-probability sampling design in which the results of the study cannot be generalized. Secondly, this study only uses one mall.

Abstract

Background - Increasing company value one of the determining factors is ownership structure. Managerial ownership will tend to improve management performance for the benefit of themselves and shareholders. Institutional ownership can control manager behavior and enhance optimal supervision of managers. The high ownership structure within a company will make managers feel monitored and act more cautiously in the use of debt. Thus, companies must be able to create debt at a certain level so that the company's goals to increase company value can be achieved. Objectives - This study aims to examine the effect of managerial ownership and institutional ownership on firm value with debt policy as an intervening variable. Design / methodology / approach - The type of research used is comparative causal used to explain causal relationships between variables. The population in this study are companies that fall into the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) index listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016 - 2018. Samples of 11 companies were selected using the purposive sampling method. This research uses path analysis. The value of the company is measured by Tobin's Q. Managerial and Institutional Ownership is measured by the percentage of share ownership. Debt policy is measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Findings - Based on the results of the analysis show that (1) managerial ownership affects the value of the company, (2) institutional ownership affects the value of the company, (3) debt policy affects the value of the company, (4) institutional ownership affects the debt policy, (5) Managerial ownership affects the debt policy, (6) Managerial ownership affects the value of the company through debt policy as an intervening variable, (7) institutional ownership affects the value of the company through the debt policy as an intervening variable. Research Implications - This research has implications that can provide an overview and reference for companies related to matters that can affect the value of the company, and can be used as an evaluation material for companies related to company performance during the observation year. Research limitations - The research sample consisted of only 11 companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), with an observation span of only 3 years, and the data used were not yet normal, there was heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. So the square root transformation is done to improve the data.
