Abstract

Literary work is an expression that is created based on the thoughts, experiences, and feelings of the author. Literary works that are in great demand and read are poetry. Poetry is an interesting literary work to study because it contains an implied meaning. This allows for different interpretations of each reader. Therefore, in this study the author is interested in analyzing meaning, namely analyzing the implied meaning contained in the poem "Lanskap" by Sapardi Doko Damono. This study aims to (1) analyze the implied meaning contained in the poem entitled "Lanskap" (2) describe the results of the poetry analysis that has been studied. This study uses a descriptive method in which the author describes or tells the poem being studied. The poem "Lanskap" is studied and discussed to obtain the meaning implied in this poem so that it can be conveyed to the reader. The poem "Lanskap" has that in a relationship there must be loyalty in order to continue to maintain the integrity of the relationship. Time cannot be a reason for someone to stop being faithful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pendidikan karakter apa saja yang terdapat pada Film “The Battleship Island”. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya anggapan rusaknya akhlak generasi muda yang ditandai dengan berbagai fenomena sosial seperti seks bebas, hedonisme dan sabagainya. Sementara itu, saat ini tengah terjadi demam Korea di Indonesia, yang membuat peneliti berpikir apakah ada pelajaran yang bisa diambil dari fenomena demam Korea ini?. Salah satu yang membuat peneliti tertarik adalah film “The Battleship Island” di mana dalam film Korea ini diceritakan perjuangan rakyat Korea Selatan yang bertahan di sebuah pulau bernama Pulau Hashima yang dikuasai pemerintah kolonial Jepang di akhir-akhir perang dunia dua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simak catat dalam pengumpulan dan pengolahan datanya, Hasil dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa film yang dibintangi Song Joong-ki ini mengandung Pendidikan karakter yang tergambar dalam adegan-adegan sepanjang film, seperti jujur, disiplin, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis dan memiliki semangat kebangsaan. Namun, berdasar pada hasil pengamatan peneliti juga disimpulkan dalam film “The Battleship Island” sarat akan adegan yang menunjukkan kekerasan seperti perbudakan, penyiksaan dan pembunuhan. Maka dari itu peneliti menyarankan film ini tidak ditonton oleh anak di bawah umur. Kata Kunci:           The Battleship Island, Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the educational values contained in the novel entitled Mentari Impian by Ichen ZR. The method used in this article is descriptive qualitative by describing the value of education and analyzing the educational value in the novel. The expected results from this article we can know and understand the educational values reflected in the behavior of the characters in the novel. The novel Mentari Impian has an educational value, namely the unrelenting fighting spirit of one of the characters from the novel who has a very high dream, namely wanting to become a famous writer like his idol even though there are many obstacles that hit him but the character continues to struggle to achieve his dream so that he can be used as a role model or motivation for the audience. Ichen ZR's novel Mentari Impian was chosen because it has several advantages, both in terms of content and language. Also, the novel Mentari Impian by Ichen ZR has many benefits, namely motivating and inspiring readers to keep trying to achieve their dreams.

Abstract

Moral value is one of the ethical values that are usually found in the scope of society that is good and bad. Researchers are interested in analyzing short stories that have a lot of moral value. This study aims to determine the moral values contained in the short story "Advise for my son" by Motinggo Busye. The steps to analyze this short story are using qualitative descriptive method. This method describes a story of moral values that become the standard of good or bad that is seen by the community through this short story. The conditions that occur in the story will be analyzed. The results of the study, there are moral values contained in the short story. Judging from the dialogue quotes in the short story, the results obtained are (1) Regret for decisions that have been made (2) Independent (3) Respect someone's decisions (4) Smart (5) Thinking realistically and as it is (6) Listening to Parents' Advice (7 ) Sympathy to fellow friends. Therefore, the value that can be taken in short stories is an invitation to good advice and stay away from bad values in order to understand that with advice we can make a conclusion in making a decision in life.

Abstract

Poetry is a literature which contains many elements of the building one of which is the meaning of poetry. To analyze the meaning of a poem can be used a semiotic approach to poetry. Semiotic has a meaning as a sign, the sign here can be a theme, value or meaning of a word or sentence in a poem. In this study the researcher will analyze a poem entitled “karangan bunga” by Taufik ismail using a semiotic approach. Research is based on the researchers’ curiosity about themes, meanings or values in poetry “karangan bunga”. The formulation of the problem to be examined is, how is the semiotic analysis of the poetry “karangan bunga” titled Taufik ismail. The aim is to find meaning, theme, or value contained in poetry “karangan bunga”. The results obtained by researchers in this semiotic analysis namely, poetry “karangan bung” has the theme of struggle or heroism, moral values can be seen from the there small childern who appreciate and respect the services of someone who sacrifices to fight for the welfare of the people of Indonesia by giving a bouquet of flowers. The mening of the poem is about the sadnees and sorrow of the there childern towards the struggle of a student who was shot because he demanded the dissolution of the PKI.

Abstract

This article discusses the physical and mental elements of Kuntowijoyo's poem "Isyarat". Both elements become part of the complete understanding of poetry. The purpose of this study was to analyze Kuntowijoyo's poem "Isyarat" from physical elements consisting of sound, typography, diction, majas, and imagery, while the mental elements analyzed were sense, tone, feeling, and intention. The analysis refers to the theory put forward by I.A. Richards by showing a thorough analysis of the poem "Cues". The results of this study showed that Kuntowijoyo's poem "Isyarat" has a cohesion in the structure of poetry consisting of physical and mental elements. The physical element of poetry shows that typography, buni, imagery, majas, and diction became important structures in poetry builders. The inner element of the poem "Cues" also shows a concept that builds overall meaning. Thus, this study has theoretical and practical implications in understanding Kuntowijoyo's poem "Isyarat" thoroughly.

Abstract

The study is based on the unique nature of each creation of lyrics that contain both intrinsic and extrinsic elements in each line. The goal of this research isn't to analyze the language style on a dazed lyric antology book by icsan scooter. Researchers analyze the lyrics using a descriptive approach. The source of the data used by researchers is that of 5 lyrics from a total of 60 lyrics. Researchers focused 6 figures of speech on the study: metaphor, personification, hyperbole, anafora, epistrophur and asonansi. Research data is summed up: (1) lyrics with the most grammatical usage are those that are entitled confused with a total of 25 different language styles. The lyrics with the least grammatical usage are those titled shankara with a total of 9 different language styles. (2) the metaphorical style is 11, as many as 10 personified, 11 of hyperbole, anafora as many as 8, epistrofa as 4, and 23 as of assonance. With a total of 67 figures of speech on the five lyrics that have been analyzed.

Abstract

Literature is a written work that expresses an event by thoughts, feelings, and opinions. Short stories are one type of literary work, namely prose. Short stories have a distinctive characteristic that can be read in one sitting. This study aims to determine the intrinsic elements contained in a short stories. The intrinsic elements contained in a short story include themes, characters, plot, setting, point of view, and mandate. The short story used in this research is the work of Guntur Alam, entitled "Five People at the Dining Table". The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method, this method is presented in the form of words. According to the analysis that has been carried out in this study, it can be concluded that 1. The theme in the short story is struggle and humanity. 2. The characters in the short story have several characters, among others, Renata, Mary, Pietter, Sandra, and Daniel. 3. The grooves that are formed are mixed grooves. 4. The setting in the short story is divided into three, namely the setting in the dining room and the middle of the urban forest, the time setting at night, and the setting for the atmosphere which has a tense atmosphere. 5. The point of view used is mixed. 6. The message contained in the short story is to be a human being who has a good and fair personality. The fact, any bad deeds committed will be the same as the effects.

Abstract

On the pandemic now this, learning is required and where required done at home in order to break the spread of Covid-19, i.e with distance learning (online). in online learning also teachers and stundents are required to more creative as possible. This research is done to examine learning and Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) – based Audiovisual on VOCATIONAL students of class X SMK KESFAM. Motivated by the many obstacles in the learning process in the network (online) to students who have difficulty pouring ideas and idea in form of writing which is caused by the lack of understanding of the students to the structure, the steps of writing, text, and the rules of language that right in writing the text of anecdote. This study aims to enhance creativity in writing the text anecdote - based audiovisual and find aout the students ‘response to the implementantion of the learning in the network (online) by the method of student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Methods this research is a descriptive qualitative. Data colletion techniques carried out by way of test, observation, and questionaries. The results of the study show that learning in the network (online) write a text anecdote on the students of class X SMK KESFAM. Through the method of cooperative learning and Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) – based Audiovisual running optimally it can be seen from the results expressed by students through the learning outcomes increased to exceed the average value of KKM namely 85.5 by looking at the average value in the structure is at 80.5 and the value of the rules of language is 75.5 anget done and learning with the use of audiovisual media also has the effectiveness to support the writing skills of students in the text of the anecdote.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of learning to write negotiation text using discovery learning method of decision making setting, and to describe the students' ability in writing negotiation text. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 22 high school class X students. Based on the results of the observer's assessment that 94.64% of teachers were able to carry out learning activities well. Based on the results of the observer's assessment that 96.42% of students were able to follow the learning process of writing negotiating texts well. The results of the research conducted showed that students had difficulty understanding aspects of spelling. The results of the test of the ability to write negotiation text for class X MIPA I high school students got an average final score of 81.79.
