Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

This research uses qualitative research (1) aims to describe the form of Representation of Mandulang Ameh Dance in Kanagarian Palangki IV District Villages Sijunjung District. (2) The method used is descriptive analysis which the techniques to collect the data are: interviews, direct recording, literature, observation, transcription. (3) The result of this research obtained the form of Representation of Mandulang Ameh Dance that starting from preparation day before the event, such as fittings and rehearsal event in the building. The day of event in the building before the appearance there are the preparations are: put on make up the face and dress dancer, dance ready to be displayed to the dance. . Mandulang Ameh in there Hour Ceremony dance moves ranging from berhela – hela manunggu masin (bersantai – santai menungu mesin),sambah(sembah), mancaliak hari (melihat hari), manjampuik urang rumah(pulang menjemput orang rumah),pai katambang (pergi ketambang), maambiak kasiak(mengambil pasir), manggali kasiak (menggali pasir), mamisah ameh jo kasiak(memisahkan emas dan pasir), mambarasiahan ameh (membersihkan emas),mancaliak ameh(melihat emas),basanang dapek ameh(bersenang dapat emas),mangumpuan ameh(mengumpulkan emas),manuai (menuai),pesta dan pulang. Dance Mandulang Ameh in Welcoming Ceremony serves as entertainment as guests and arts events in the day - a great day. Ameh Mandulang dance danced by eight dancers with three male dancers - male and five female dancers, the costumes are simple dancers wearing traditional Minangkabau. Ameh Mandulang dance floor wearing a simple pattern such as triangles, straight lines are also circular, instrument used is talempong and Tambua also a pendendang and Tambua also a pendendang and can be displayed in the halls and open field.Key Word : bentuk penyajian, mandulang ameh, palangki,sijunjung

This study aims to determine how the application of Suzuki method is in violin learning at Gilang Ramadhan Studio Band Padang. This research belongs to a descriptive research which produces qualitative data. The data were obtained during the learning process through interviews conducted to violin instructors at Gilang Ramadhan Studio Band (GRSB) Padang, as well as documentation containing photos during the violin learning process at Gilang Ramadhan Studio Band (GRSB) Padang. Based on the results, the use of Suzuki method in the violin learning process at Gilang Ramadhan Studio Band has not been fully applied. This can be seen in the implementation of learning where there are no group games or group exercises, and there is no CD playing so that it causes the violin learning process to be hampered. Some of the Suzuki method have been applied in the violin learning process at Gilang Ramadhan Studio Band (GRSB) Padang. These include giving music education starting at an early age, rehearsing song material repeatedly, listening to music before playing it, and reading block notation using fingers.

Abstract This article aimed at describing the function of “ sirih” in “ Makan Sirih” dance in Tanjung Batu, Kundur, Karimun, Riau. This dance is used by Riau civilians to welcome the guest. It is usally performed in official events. The data used in this research was descriptive qualitative analysis. The instrument of this research was the researcher accompanied by any tools, camera, and recorder. The technique of data collection used through literature study, interview and observation. The result showed that the performed of “Makan Sirih” dance in the guest was as social and cultural function. The social function of “sirih” is to describe the interaction between the civilians and the guest. The cultural function of “ sirih “ is as the custom of society to respect and appreciate the guests. Kata Kunci : Tari Makan Sirih, Makna.

AbstractThis article aims to find out and describe the use of the instrument test performance on learning the art of dance in the CMS National 2x11 Kayutanam. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach method of analysis. The object of research is the teacher of art and culture (dance) National 2x11 ayutanam CMS. Research instrument is the interview guidelines, notes the observation and study of the literature. The data analysis techniques is collecting data, data presentation, data meredaksi and verify the data. Findings from the research tells us that the use of the test instrument performance in National 2x11 SMK kayutanam already applied by the teachers of art and culture as well. So the use of a performance test instrument made in the RPP can be maintained by the teacher to assess and measure the ability of their students in learning. AbstractÂ This study aims to increase students' interest toward drum band extracurricular activity in SMKN 2 Padang. This study was qualitative with using descriptive data processing. Data were collected based on the results of library research, observations and interviews. The instrument used in this study was the researcher and the supporting instruments used notebooks, stationery, photo cameras / cellphones, and song scores.Based on the result of the study, it is found that the efforts to increase studentsâ€™ interest toward drum band extracurricular activity in SMK N 2 Padangwere carried out by using some ways, first, the trainer gives motivation tostudents, then practices by guided practice, and appoints a friend as a tutor to teach friends who are not good at song material. Then, supporting from the school by encouraging and completing facilities and infrastructures such as buying new musical instruments and finally, the support that areÂ given by parents to students. By doing some efforts that are made by the trainer and the school, the studentsâ€™ interest increase to take part in this extracurricular activity. It can be seen from the number of students attendance at each meeting and how fast students in mastering the song material that is given by the trainer.Â Keywords: effort, student interest, extracurricular drum band activities

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Seni Tari Melalui Metode Pembelajaran Cooperatif Learning Tipe Jigsaw Di SMP Negeri 3 Kota Solok Elsa Yolanda; Fuji Astuti; Zora Iriani

This article aims to improve the learning outcomes of dance through the Jigsaw learning method for the students of SMP 3 Solok. The type of research used is classroom action research. The instrument in this study was post test and the form of assessment consisted of two forms, they were knowledge (cognitive) and skill (psychomotor) tests. The types of data in this study were primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting data was done by doing the observation, test and documentation. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. To see an increase in student learning outcomes was done by comparing the percentage of students' mastery in learning before and after receiving the action. The results of the study shows that the use of the Jigsaw method in learning dance can improve students learning activities and outcomes. The percentage of completeness of students learning outcomes in the cognitive increased in cycle 2, it is 97%. Whereas, the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes only reached 70% in cycle 1. The results of learning (psychomotor) skills of students are also very good, seen from the percentage of completeness of students learning outcomes are increase from 56.6% in cycle 2 to 90%. Then, it can be concluded that the implementation of learning with the application of Jigsaw cooperative learning can improve outcomes and students learning activities.

Abstract The purpose of this research is to describe the learning process of singing at the Eighth 2 grade SMP Negeri 1 Tiumang, Dharmasraya Regency through cooperative learning. This qualitative research uses descriptive methods analysis. Techiques of data collection were observation, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed by measuring the levels of proficiency and accuracy in reading rhythm, melody and song presentation. The research was conducted by forming groups of 5 or 6 students. Each group of students consists of high, moderate and low ability in singing, and work together in their respective groups. The results showed an increase in students' ability to sing in reading rhythm, melody and song presentation after the implementation of cooperative learning.

This dance work aims to create a dance work which trains and educates a choreographer to become a creative choreographer in preparing ideas through innovative moves as the language in a dance work. The theme in this dance work is about adaptation. The work of this dance is a dramatic dance with a representational symbolic performance. The dance work "PADBAGAY" is taken from Philippine Tagalog which means adaptation, and the dance work is inspired by the life of parents of a dance stylist whose mother is Filipino and the father is from Minangkabau. This work tells about the struggle of the Filipino woman in adapting to Minangkabau culture from her husband's family.

ABSTRACT The artwork of “Wonderfully Natural” was the individual artwork that was derived from life experiences that composed in music based the ability and the influences of social and cultural environment in recent time. The aim of the mucik creation was to express the writer’s own ability in music. In this “Wonderfully Natural” artwork, the writer had tried to develop several changes on the instruments and the techniques of the music. In this wsic artwork, the writer rearrenged the initial arrangement. Moreover, the writer composed the music with combining the orginal versiion with ballada style and instrumental. The differen between these two versions was that in ballada style, it usually has the vocal or voice and in this combination, instruments was used to replace the vocal voice. AbstractThis article aimed to describe and explain the choreography of Mangkik Staih Dance in Sungai Penuh Tourism Culture Office, Jambi Province. The type of this research was qualitative using descriptive method. The object of this research was Mangkik Staih dance. The techniques of data collection were literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis were conducted by selecting the data that were considered important, compiling the selected data, analyzing the data with interpretation techniques. The results of this study indicated that the Mangkik Staih dance was a creation dance which was the development of the Asik dance which functioned as entertainment. the choreography of Mangkik Staih dance was in the form of a large group dance, the musical instruments used were tambourine, keyboard, car, bass, drum, costume that were used by Kerinci Traditional, Plate Property, Small Bowls Contain Seven Variety Flowers, Large Bowls Contain Rice and Sirih, Light Torch from Coconut, Bamboo, Broken Dishes, Stoves and Cauldrons.
