Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This article aims to describe Art Inheritance Rabab Pasisie System In Nagari  Anakan  Koto  Nan  Duo  Kecamatan  Batang  Kapas  Kabupaten  Pesisir  Selatan.The method used is qualitative, which aims to get everything related to the topic. The data related to the topic above is collected through library research, observation, interview and documentation techniques.From the research results can be concluded that Art Inheritance Rabab Pasisie System in Nagari  Anakan  Koto  Nan  Duo  Kecamatan  Batang  Kapas  Kabupaten  Pesisir  Selatan, inherited enculturation. Abstract

Abstract This article was aimed to describe and explain role of Silek Galombang on wedding party in Jorong Pandan Kenagarian Tanjung Sani Kecamatan Tanjung Raya Kabupaten Agam. Type of this study was qualitative with analytical descriptive method. Technique of data collection were done by using library research, observation, interview and documentation. After collecting data,   data were analyzed accurately and selected as needed and it’s relation with the posed problem. Result of this study showed that Silek Galombang was performed on wedding in Jorong Pandan and was a part of event on wedding party in that place. Roles of Silek Galombang were as medium of  welcoming honorary guests, medium of  tribute and medium of self-actualization on wedding party. Silek Galombang consisted of tagak alif motion, langkah suok, langkah kida, langkah suruik, langkah maju, balabek, maambek tagak itiak, simpia suok dan kida, simpia suruik, kudo-kudo langkah ampek, dan gerak sambah.  The dancer number of Silek Galombang were 7-9 dancers, 1 dancer as Tuo silek (teacher). This dance was divided into 2 groups with face to face position. 1 group represented the guest and the other one represented the party organizer. Silek Galombang was performed at street in front of the party organizer house during the day. Keywords: Roles, Silek Galombang, Wedding Party

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the choreography form of Indang Randai Dance at Alang Bangkeh Studio, Silaing Bawah, Padang Panjang city. This is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data used were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, reducing the data, presenting the data, and making conclusions. The results show that Indang Randai dance is a creative dance whichholds the characteristics of Minangkabau women and rules which exist in Minangkabau custom. This dance tells about the joy of teenagers in doing activities. The dance functions as an entertainment dance. Related to the dance elements, Indang Randai dance choreography consists of 59 dance movements, the upper design dominantly using low design, the floor design which is dominantly from straight line developments, the music design, and the dramatic group choreography design. The dynamics are generally intermediate. The group choreography is performed simultaneously and balanced. The costumes worn are galembong pants, bajukurung, tokah, waist bands, and accessories. The dancers use stage make-up. From all those dance elements, relation to the theme of the daily activities of teenagers who are happy and enthusiastic in carrying out activities can be made.

Abstract

This article aims to find out how much the contributions of the students’ task toward dance art learning outcomes at class VIII in SMP N 2 Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.This type of study was quantitative with a correlational method. The population in this study was all eighth grade students of SMP N 2 Koto XI Tarusan, while the sampling technique was carried out by the Cluster Sample technique where in this study the samples were taken which were 25 people. Data analysis was done by using product moment correlation using the correlation test.The result of the study shows that there is a contribution between coordination of students’ tasks towards dance art learning outcomes at class VIII in SMP N 2 Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan and a contribution of 18.5% is obtained. It is recommended for  the teachers and students to pay attention to these factors.

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed at describing the improvement of students learning outcomes in reading musical notations in songs by using pianika and rekorder at the class of VII.7 of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. The design of this research was class action research. The objects of this research were 30 students of class VII.7 SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. From the data analysis, it was found that there was an improvement on students learning outcomes. It was seen from their learning outcomes average scores. In the first cycle, the average score was 47.3. In the second cycle, it increased into 70.6 while the intended average score was only 70. From the findings, it was concluded that the use of pianika dan rekorder improved students learning outcomes in reading musical notations in songs. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Membaca Notasi Balok, Alat Musik,  Pianika dan Rekorder.

Abstract

Abstract  This article aims to determine the perception of teachers toward the PLK implementation of Sendratasik College Students at SMK Negeri Kota Padang in Semester January-June 2019. Type of the research was qualitative descriptive research. The main instrument of this research was the resarcher and it was supported by supporting instruments such as stationery, camera and mobile phone. The type of data used were primary and secondary data. Techniques of data collection were done by using library study, observation, interview and documentation. The steps in analyzing data were conducted by doing data collection, analyzing data, describing data and making conclusion. The results shows that the college students’ teaching skill in ballet are still lacked deficiencies and have to be corrected during the micro teaching lecture. It is because most of students do not prepare the media for learning, from the beginning until the end of PLK, the college students do not make media device at all. The ability in communicating, actually the college students can open-minded in receiving criticism and advice from students, teachers, employees in the school and showing a friendly attitude in and out of school. Keywords: Teachers Perception, The PLK Implementation of Sendratasik College Students

Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of Students at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang unwillingly attended self-development activities of dancing class. Students were less serious in attending self-development of dancing class during learning. The purpose of this study was to describe students' perceptions on self-development activities of dancing class at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang.This research type was qualitative research which used descriptive approach. The population of this research was the students of grade VII at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang who joined self-development activities of dancing class. The research used primary data. In collecting the data in the field, observation sheets, interviews and cameras were used as the instruments of the research.The findings of this research showed that students 'perceptions on self-development activities of dancing class in SMP N 2 Padang Panjang were, the students' intentions and talents to join the activities, but they did not agree with the teacher’s way and material selection. As a result, the students thought that the activity was boring. The indicators of students' perceptions at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang were 1) the acceptance of students in which the students were interested and talented but they could not focus due to the hasty way of teachers so that students could not understand the material well and they could not express their talent well, 2) Students’ understanding in which the students were not familiar with dance material given by using video; the students did not want to do it, 3) students’ assessment in which students like their teachers but the hasty and repeated way the teachers used in delivering the materials made students feel bored.   Keywords: Student's Perception on Self Development Activities of DancingAbstrack The purpose of Students at SMP N 2 Padang Panjang unwillingly attended self-development activities of dancing class. Abstract

AbstractThe research was distributed by Madali Sha'baan as a dance that already work in introducing dance from South Bengkulu. This research aims to disclose and describe the biography in the course of artistic activity as a dance of Sha'baan Madali in South Bengkulu. This type of research is qualitative research with a diakronis approach and method of history (historical). The object of the study is as a character through Madali dance in South Bengkulu. The research instrument was its own researchers and supporting instruments such as assisted with photo camera, digital camera, stationery and audio conversation tool. The type of data in this study is the primary data and secondary data. Engineering data collection done by the study of librarianship, observation/observation, interview and documentation. Processing of data is carried out by means of an interactive analysis. The results showed that the character is a choreographer of Sha'baan Madali acknowledged. Its action in the archives starting from 1994 to the present and has earned an award from the Government of the province of Bengkulu as choreographed dance in 2008. He was born by the family of the artist's background, but with his creativity he is capable of working in the world of dance in South Bengkulu. Dance works that are already created by Madali Sha'baan can be distinguished into two forms of paper, namely: (1) traditional dance. (2) Dance creations. Works on motion of Sha'baan Madali tradition Dance Andun and based on the phenomena of society South Bengkulu. With both categories works Madali Sha'baan have managed to introduce the arts of the South Sumatra especially the art of dance to the public.Keywords: biography, Madali Shya'ban, Character Dance

Abstract

This study belongs to a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis method. The object of this research was the Piriang dance in PandaiSikek village, X Koto district, TanahDatar regency. The research instrument was the researcher itself and was assisted by stationeries, a photo camera, a handy cam, and aflash drive. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done by collecting the data, grouping the data, analyzing the data, interpreting the data, and reporting the results of the research.  The results of this study show that the Piriang dance in PandaiSikek village, X Koto district, Tanah Datarregency, has two aspects of development: quantitative and qualitative aspects. Quantitative development is found in the number of actors who have increased from generation to generation. Judging from the area of its use, apart from PandaiSikek, it is also performed inKacang village. Meanwhile, its functions and uses have developed.  In thebeginning, it was only danced in the harvest time. Today,it is performed in various events such as wedding ceremonies, circumcisions, Khatam Qur’an (sealing the Koran), and other events. Meanwhile, qualitatively there is a development in movement and costume.

Abstract

Abstract This study was animed at promoting the Minangkabau traditional artinto new form of artwork. Through musical work of Minang Groovy, the writer intended to show that the traditional music could  be collaborated woth modern music. This,however, also could be developed by using various design and was combined with other modern musical instruments. The traditional music then could be more attractive and enjoyed by all of people especially the young generation. Hence, the traditional music could be more interesting and preserved by the next generation.   Kata kunci : komposisi, Minang Groovy, kesenian
