Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract This music work is an innovative art taken from Pado-pado rhytm in Saluang Pauah show. This music work was was arranged based on the consept of the rhytm and melody combination of any traditional music tools (Saluang Pauah, talempong, canang, adok, djembe) and modern ones (Bass, electric guitar, piano, percussion set, conga, violin, viola and cello). Technically, the melody of Pado-pado is used as the main melody which was further developed into three compositions. Kata Kunci: Karya Seni, Gurau, Pauah, Saluang Pauah

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to disclose and describe the existence of the Makan Sirih  Offerings dance Neighborhood Junior High School in Buliang sub district of Batu Aji Batam.This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The object of this research is the Makan Sirih Offerings dance Neighborhood Junior High School in Buliang sub district of Batu Aji Batam. The main instrument in this study the researcher himself, and assisted with the instruments supporting such as stationery, photo camera, handy-cam, cassette cd and pendrive. The type of data in this study is the primary data and secondary data. The techniques used in the collection of this data is the study of librarianship, observation, interview and documentation. Technique of data analysis was done with the steps, carrying out data display data or presentation of data, taking the conclusion/verification.The results showed that the Makan Sirih  Offerings dance indeed existed in the Buliang Sub-district (kecamatan) Junior High School Batu Aji. The existence of the Makan Sirih Offerings dance Neighborhood Junior High School in Buliang sub-district of Aji Stone Batam survive from the early use of Buliang Village sub district Junior High School in Batu Aji so that it is now in the midst of people have started to become a culture for community Subdistricts of Buliang and can be accepted and recognized by the society of the village Buliang on the present. Keywords: Existence, Makan Sirih  Offerings dance

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to reveal and describe the ZapinKampong Bolak dance in Tembilahan District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province based on Choreography aspect. This type of studywas a qualitative with using descriptive methods. The main instrument in this study was the researcher and was assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and camera. The type of data used primary and secondary data. Techniques of Data collection were carried out by taking literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps in analyzing data were done by collecting, reducting, presentating and drawing data conclusions. The result shows that the Zapin Kampong Bolak Dance in Citra Sebati Studio Tembilahan District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province is a dance that illustrates the life and excitement of young people who do not become arrogant when meeting their friends in the village even though each of them has been successful overseas. The Zapin Kampong Bolak dance is played by a group of dancers  that are consisting of eight dancers and is divided into two male dancers and six female dancers. TheZapin Kampong Bolak dance has dance elements such as motion, music, themes, costumes, make-up, floor design, dramatic design and top design. The Zapin Kampong Bolak dance is first made to take part in a regional dance parade contest, then also staged for entertainment and greetings in Tembilahan District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province.  Keywords: choreography, Zapin Dance, Kampong Bolak

Abstract

This research aims to disclose and describe the biography Syofyani Yusaf Maestro Minangkabau dance art in the field. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The instrument of this research the researcher himself, and assisted with the supporting instruments such as stationery, photo cameras and audio conversation tool. The type of data in this study is the primary data and secondary data. Engineering data collection done by the study of librarianship, observation/observation, interview and documentation. And the data were analyzed with data reduction steps, the data model (data display) and withdrawal/verification conclusion. The results showed that Syofyani Yusaf was choreographed dance in the Minangkabau region of national and international scale through the karya–karyanya. The success of Yusaf Syofyani seen from the number of achievements – achievements by Yusaf Syofyani including the title Minangkabau Dance Maestro of the President of Republic of Indonesia. From the hands of Syofyani was born the students who come from within the country and abroad. Sanggar Syofyani has dozens of times in the legislation to foreign countries to do dance attractions. The dedication and devotion of Syofyani has been demonstrated with dozens of awards ranging from College, Ministry of tourism, the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the organizers of International Events. Abstract

Abstract This article was written to describe the used of the group work to improve student’s learning outcomes in the musical art subject at grade VIII7 SMP Negeri 2 Batusangkar. Group work learning approach has a very important role in growing maturity and improve children's ability to master the material whatever they want through learning together to achieve maximum learning. Based on the result of the experiment, it was found that the average score of experimental group was higher than the average score of control group. Based on a t-test, it was obtained that tcounted > tTable, which means that there is a significant difference of learning outcomes between the students who learn by using group work learning approach and conventional  technique in the subjects of Musical Arts at SMP Negeri 2 Batusangkar. This significant difference between the score of learning outcomes of the two classes, the data show that group work learning approach gives positive effect toward learning outcomes at level of confidence 95%. Abstract

This research aims to see the application of online methods in the learning of cultural arts (dance) class XI MIA at SMA Dian Andalas Padang. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The instruments in this study are the researchers themselves and assisted with supporting instruments in the form of documentation from the recording tools in the field. Evaluation of learning outcomes consists of knowledge (cognitive) and skills (psychomotor). Data collection techniques are carried out by means of library studies, observations and documentation. The steps to analyze data are data collection, clarifying data and making conclusions. The results showed that the application of online methods in cultural art learning class XI MIA at Sma Dian Andalas Padang is quite good. This can be seen from the planning and implementation of learning carried out by cultural arts teachers. However, judging by the students' grades there are some students who have grades less than KKM in practical learning. Meanwhile, on cognitive understanding each student gets good results. The provision of practical materials at the second meeting with the giving of demonstration videos makes students less able to imitate the given movement by reaching an average of 80.5 with good criteria. Meanwhile, on the provision of cognitive materials at the third meeting with the provision of knowledge tests in cultural arts learning with online methods already running by reaching an average of 94.5 with excellent criteria.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to reveal and explain the impact of exploration methods for learning local dance elapsed areas. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data obtained by direct observation and interviews. Data were analyzed based on the phenomena that occur in learning, to interpret the relationship between the phenomena occurring in the learning. The results showed, exploratory methods in teaching dance at resulted in increased imagination and creative power and ability of the students in the birth of new motifs from local dance movement. Another impact is that students feel they have freedom of expression, and is able to explore the body with improvisation, so that ideas can create new movement patterns are used for local dance lessons.   Keywords: Ilau Dance Creation and development.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to describe the performance of Putri Berhias dance in Lubuk linggau city, since Putri Berhias dance is a traditional dance which has not been researched as well as its documentation data. With the presence of  documentation of Putri Berhias dance into a form of writing, it is expected that the dance still preserved as cultural identity and the identity of Lubuk linggau city. Data obtained from the results of documents study, observation, interview and documentation. In this study, the researcher used triangulation to valid the data, that was a kind of technique which utilized something else.The research showed that the performance of Putri Berhias dance in Lubuklinggau city was in the form of purely representational. Its form  included elements or main element and supporting dance. Those elements were the motions of Putri Berhiasdance  which consists of thirteen kinds of motion maknawi. The design of the floor with  pattern of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Music design composed of traditional instruments, accordion, Melayu drums, rebana, and tambourine. Make up used is beautiful. Costumes worn were baju kurung, songket limas, and kebo munggah necklace, kembang murai , kano bracelet, lotus, earrings, gandik pilis, pending, and cempako. Putri Berhias dance used selendang as property. It could be performed on the proscenium stage and open areas.Key words: Dance performance, Putri Berhias

Abstract

This study aims to describe or find out the inheritance of the Krilu musical instrument in Sanggar Ratau Agung in Tunggang Village, Lebong Utara District, Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. This research is a qualitative research. The research instrument was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, voice recorder, and camera. The type of data in this study was primary and secondary data. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by collecting data, classifying data analysis, and making conclusions and suggestions. The results show that the inheritance of Krilu in Sanggar Ratau Agung in Tunggang Village, Lebong Utara District, Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province uses an open and enculturation system. This inheritance system does not use a closed one due to the fact that there is no family from Krilu artists that can inherit the Krilu art. The open inheritance system carried out by artists is by teaching individual studio members who are interested and want to learn Krilu musical instruments. Meanwhile, the closed system is not found in the inheritance system. The Krilu musical instrument is played when the official speech is given in the welcoming dance, and inheritance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe students' interest in dance extracurricular activity at SMP Negeri 34 Padang. This type of research was a qualitative study with using descriptive method. The instrument in this study was the researcher. The additional instrument used the questionnaire. Techniques of Data collection were carried out by taking observation, questionnaires, documentation and practicing motion. The types of data in this study were primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed by using the percentage formula. The results show that students' interest in dance extracurricular activity at SMP Negeri 34 Padang is relatively good. The percentage of the students feeling happy in dance extracurricular is 52.78% that is classified as moderate, students' interest in dance extracurricular is 48.33% that is moderate, the student’s attention on dance extracurricular is 45.56% that is classified as moderate and the student's interest towards dance extracurricular is 47, 78% that is classified as moderate. It can be concluded that the students' interest in dance extracurricular activity in SMP Negeri 34 Padang is good with an average value is 64.81%. There are several things that need to be organized in this dance extracurricular activity so that students' interest in this activity will increase even more in terms of material and method.
