Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of visual media in dance learning in order to improve learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Padang Ganting. This type of research is class action research (PTK). The research implementation consists of 2 cycles with the stage of planning activities, implementation, observation and reflection. The data types in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are done by observation, interviews, documentation and tests. Data analysis techniques use a percentage formula. The results showed that visual media in the form of PowerPoint could improve student learning outcomes in dance art defence at SMA Negeri 1 Padang Ganting in class X IIS. 2 which is seen from the research process during the process of learning the art of dance. With the media it can also attract students 'attention and reduce the level of students ' saturation in the teaching and learning process. Visual Media in the form of PowerPoint can improve student dance learning outcomes, it is in the prove with the results of research with the average cognitive value gained in Cycle 1 with the acquisition of 78.5 while on cycle II with the acquisition of 89.5. Thus, visual media can improve student learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Padang Ganting.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the Presentation Form of the Ramo-ramo Tabang Duo Dance in Nagari Pasir Talang. This research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The object of research is the presentation of the Ramo-ramo Tabang Duo dance in Nagari Pasir Talang Solok Selatan. The researcher acts as the main instrument in this study, and is assisted by a recording device, and a means of matching both audio, visual or audio visual. Data collection is done through direct observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as literature studies. Data were analyzed through a procedure referred to from Mile and Huberman, namely data collection, in the form of qualitative data from research areas such as forms of motion, music, costumes, and procedures for performance. In the next stage the data is selected and then the results of the selection are verified and concluded by the researcher. The findings from the research results are concluded that the form of presentation of the Ramo-ramo Tabang Duo dance is an artistic form without a story. This is obtained from the motion data that only presents artistic and aesthetic value, without any symbol of the motion being maneuvered, as well as music that is as a dance accompaniment. Overall both motion, music, and costumes display dynamical, dramatic motion that aims only as a presentation of entertainment, without any intention of the dance performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the forms of creation of Tari Piring Lampu Togok at Lubuak Nan Tigo Studio. This type of research was qualitative research with descriptive analytical methods. The main instruments in this study were the researchers themselves and assisted with supporting instruments including stationery, photo cameras and video cameras. The type of data used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of library studies, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps in analyzing data were collecting the data, analyzing data, describing data and makingconclusions. The results of the study showed that the Tari Piring Lampu Togok was a creative dance by Lubuak Nan Tigo studio, arranged based on the dance movements of the traditional Tari Lampu Togok. The creation of the dance production resulteda quality form of work, including: (1) Motion, consists of: (a) opening motions are anta lampu,puta duduak, tagak itiak, duduak maagah piriang, pitungguang ayun piriang, then (b) core movements are ramo-ramo bagaluik, tupai bagaluik, tusuak muko balakang, usuak bawah ateh, simpia tagak, ayun rang mudo, tusuak mangayun, tupai bagaluik jantan, lenggok basamo, tusuak baganti, piriang manabeh tagak, piriang manabeh duduak, langkah puta ramo-ramo, tusuak sasampiang, simpia duduak, ayun ampek panjuru, next (c) the closing motion isputa habih. (2) Varied floor patterns, namely diagonal, triangle, letter V, letter W, circle and horizontal. (3) Accompanying music uses a musical instrument called tambua, talempong, canang, tasa, bansi, sarunai. (4) male dancers weartaluak balango, galembong pants, deta wrapped in batik cloth andsongket Silungkang and  the costumes for female dancers wear baju kurung, pants, songketSilungkang, and tanduak wrapped in songket. (5) Female dancers wear beautiful makeup and male dancers wear foundation and powder only. (6) Dancer consists of 6 people;3 female dancers and 3 male dancers.Dancers are able to express their movements by maintaining balance and compactness swiftly so that Lampu Togok stands firmly on the headduring the performance. (7) Property is Lampu Togokitself which used to be a light for the community. The lights are turned on using kerosene. The balance ofTari Piring Lampu Togoksymbolizes caution in facing opponents and living life. The compactness of the Tari Piring Lampu Togoksymbolizes the community and togetherness in living life.

Abstract

Abstract   This research was aimed at revealing the use of modeling method to improve the student’ skill in playing recorder.The subject of the research was the students in class VIII6of SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pariaman registered in academic year 2012-2013. This was a classroom action research.The result of the research indicated that there was an improvement on the student’ learning achievement after the method applied. In pre-cycle, the average score of the students was 68,14286 and it improved into 73,85714 in the first cycle. In the second cycle it became 82. Thus, it can be concluded that the modeling method could be used to help the students in learning.   Keyword: teacher, student,  recorder music,modeling method.

Abstract

AbstractThis article the aim  of the explain was to find out and describe the students’ learning activities at dance and teachers strategy in the learning process for 8th grade student at SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kecamatan Siulak Mukai. This was a qualitative research by using descriptive methods. The object of the research owas the strategy that the teacher used in dance lesson for 8th grade students with a total amount of students was 17, consists of 9 boys and 8 girls. The researcher was the primary instrument in the research by directly observed the learning process of the dance at 8th SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kecamatan Siulak Mukai. The collection of the data were a library research, observation, documentation, and an interview. The result of the research shows that the learning process of the dance at 8th grade SMP Negeri 5 Kerinci Kecamatan Siulak Mukai has not reach a maximum result of the learning process. The teacher has not properly use the strategy of teaching. Moreover, the teacher methods and the materials is not interesting. Teacher only uses LKS (Student’s Book Work) in the learning process. As the result, the student is deficient motivation and the learning process is monotonous. These problems impact towards students learning result, where the lowest KKM (minimum indicator score) at 75,00, but the average score of the students at 8th grade is 73,52 or below the minimum indicator score.Keywords: Strategy, Learning, Dance.

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the Bungong Jeumpa song that arranged by Paul Widyawan based on melodic and harmonic principles. This type of research was qualitative with an approach to analyzing the content of objectivity of generalization structures. The theory used was the theory of understanding analysis, song structure, arrangements, choir arrangement techniques, (chord progression) and contrapung. Data in this study was taken from literature studies, interviews and experiment. The results of the study obtains that the Bungong Jeumpa song has two-part of  song form, namely period A which is built two phrases, namely a and x phrases and period B which is built two phrases, namely b and a phrases'. Bungong Jeumpa song is arranged based on the structure of the song including the intro, the core part of the song and coda. In arranging, Paul Widyawan is not only based on the initial chord progression, but also developing the chord become more varied and added non harmonic tones. Cadence in Bungong Jeumpa is authentic half, imperfect authentic, perfect authentic and picardie third cadences. Patternically, the movement of the tones in the four octaves of the melody moves in a non-parallel manner. Motus is between soprano and alto tends to be parallel (motus rectus), motus is between soprano and tenor tends to deviate (motus obliqus) and motus is between soprano and bass also tends to deviate (motus obliqus). Besides, Paul Widyawan adopts the contrapung (counterpoint) theory of conventional western music which the sound on cantus firmus is not always be in the soprano (keep moving).

Abstract

The research problem is motivated by the existence of teachers’ activities in implementing 2013 Curriculum, especially in the form of implementing curricular activities (learning and non-learning) during Covid-19 pandemic. This is due to the fact that even though the teachers do not teach students face to face, curricular activities at school must be conducted both in the form of online learning and other non-learning activities. This study aims to explain various non-face-to-face curricular activities which can be conducted by music teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Muaro Bungo Jambi during the Covid-19 Pandemic.This is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis approach. The research object was music teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Muaro Bungo Jambi. The research instruments were observation, interview, and documentation study. The results explain that since the government has implemented health protocol rules to prevent Covid-19 transmission in schools, the music teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Muaro Bungo Jambi continue to carry out non-face-to-face curricular activities. The learning activities carried out online by teachers. In addition, the teachers conduct other non-learning curricular activities such as adjusting semester programs, reconstructing lesson plans, simplifying subject matters, making video tutorials for teaching preparation, and so on.

Abstract

Abstract   This article was aimed at describing the implementation of evalution technique in Arts and Music subject at SMP Negeri 4 Kecamatan Guguak. This was a qualitative research that used descriptive-analysis method. The result of the research indicated that the evaluation technique applied by the teacher  was only on cognitive and psychomotor aspects while the affective aspect was ignored. Thus,it was concluded that the evaluation done by the teacher did not run as it was expected.   Kata Kunci : teknik penilaian

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to disclose and describe about "review Choreography Dance Delight-Delight in Kanagarian Pauh IX Subdistrict Kuranji Padang city". This qualitative research study with the method descriptive analysis. The object examined was the dance of Delight-Delight in Kanagarian Pauh IX Subdistrict Kuranji Padang city. Research instrument is the researcher himself, and assisted with the instruments supporting such as stationery, photo cameras, cassette cd and pendrive. The type of data in this study is the primary data and secondary data. Engineering data collection done by the study of librarianship, observation/observation, interviews. The concept is used to analyze data are data collection, data reduction, withdrawal and presentation of conclusions. The results showed that views on choreography dance Delight-Delight consists of form and content. The form includes: dancer (4 person female dancer), motion farmed (maknawi motion) 14 motif, top design (design 8 above), the design of the floor (horizontal, rectangular), dramatic design (single cone), the composition of the groups of 4 people (large group), music (dance accompaniment vocals dendang, talempong, bansi and gandang), costumes (male costumes), the properties of the oil bottles (dama). The content includes: the idea of dance Delight-Delight comes from a family that worked in the rice fields of the mother membuaikan her crying and dad sing dendang. The atmosphere of dance Delight-Delight, namely: the quiet atmosphere, passion and joy.Keywords: dance Delight-Delight

Abstract

Abstract The research aims to reveal and describe the existence of the Salapan dance in enagarian Air Bangis Kecamatan Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. This type of research uses primary and secondary data. The main instrument in this research is its own researchers and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps for analyzing data are data collection, classifying data, analyzing data, interpreting data and making conclusions. The results showed that the existence of the Salapan dance in the middle of society is no longer exist because this dance is rarely displayed and there is no workshop to defend this dance. The choreographers of the Salapan dance creations have also eliminated the meaning of the tradition of dance by changing the movements and properties of the dance itself. The Salapan dance is no longer displayed at events held by local communities such as weddings, but the Salapan dance is only shown more frequently at the request of Tourism office in West Pasaman and competition events. Keyword: existence of dance Salapan
