Abstract

In online discussion activities, there are knowledge-sharing activities in which the factors are trust, equality, intrinsic motivation, and the use of technology. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Here the researcher wants to explain the factors that influence knowledge-sharing activities among elementary teacher education students in online discussions. The sample of this study was 221 elementary teacher education students in Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. Data analysis technique applied Multiple Linear Regression analysis techniques by using SPSS software version 21.0 with a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicated that similarity and technology use are factors that greatly influence knowledge-sharing activities, while trust and intrinsic motivation factors are factors that do not significantly affect knowledge-sharing activities. Equality factors such as age, background, and gender provide a major role in the success of knowledge-sharing activities. In order to support knowledge-sharing activities among elementary teacher education students to be effective and efficient, it is necessary to use technology with supportive frequency use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the activities, roles, challenges, and opportunities of Batch 3 of the campus teaching program. This research was qualitative and employed descriptive methods. The study was conducted in SDN 08 Lubuk Dalam, Siak Regency, Riau. This study's informants were field supervisors and students of the campus teaching program, as well as the principal, teachers, and a number of students of SDN 08 Lubuk Dalam. Observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation research were employed to collect data. Moreover, source triangulation was utilized for the technical testing of data validity. According to the study's result, the activities and duties of the campus teaching program included literacy, numeracy, administration, and technology adaptation. These programs all contribute to improving student literacy and numeracy, learning motivation, and implementing the school's Minimum Competency Assessment. In addition, there are also challenges and opportunities in the campus teaching program at the school, including the location of the school, which is in a remote area. Access to the school is very challenging because it has to go through the oil palm plantation road; internet access at the school location and the non-existent electricity network are challenging, so school activities rely on generators. In contrast, the opportunities analyzed include the high tolerance at SDN 08 Lubuk Dalam among the diverse ethnicities, cultures, and religions that are strong in the school environment and the high teaching and learning spirit of the students and teachers amid challenges and limitations. This research contributes as evaluation material for schools.

Abstract

A teacher must be able to understand the theory of learning and learning in order to understand, motivate, and influence the motivation and learning outcomes of his students; behavioristic learning theory is one developed by Albert Bandura. This article aims to find out how the implementation of the Behaviorism theory approach from Albert Bandura affects student motivation and learning outcomes. Sampling in quantitative research using the Quasi-Experimental method using pretest, posttest, and control groups. The research design was tried using the saturated sampling method. The initial sample consisted of all VB class students, with a total of 25 students as a control class, and the second illustration consisted of all VA class students, with a total of 28 students as an experimental class. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of Albert Bandura's behaviorism theory approach using the experimental class MANOVA test gives significant results namely 0.011 is smaller than 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on this, there is an influence on the application of Albert Bandura's theoretical approach to student motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

This research focuses on producing genially-based interactive multimedia learning for fifth-grade elementary/MI students. This research belongs to the type of research and development research and development (RND). The procedure for developing genially-based interactive learning multimedia uses a development model developed by Sugiyono with ten stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, product revision, initial trial, product revision, usage trial, product revision, and mass production. However, in the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic and the limited time, conditions, and costs, researchers only carried out these stages, only to stage 9, namely product revision. The results of the validation by media experts with a score of 71 in the good category, material experts with a score of 86.6 in the very good category, and learning experts with a score of 80 in the very good category, so that genially-based interactive learning multimedia is feasible to use. The results of the responses of the SD Muhammadiyah Karangkajen II class teachers in the initial trial, namely by obtaining a score of 82.2 with a very good category, then the results of the responses of the students of SD Muhammadiyah Karangkajen II in the initial trial with the subject of 4 students with a score of 90 in the very good category, while the response of students in the use trial with the subject of 19 students with a score of 95.2 with a very good category. Then, the average value of student responses is 92.6. Based on the results of teacher and student responses, genially based interactive multimedia learning is feasible to use.

Abstract

Reading is a crucial tool for unlocking the gateway to knowledge and plays a vital role in personal development. Engaging in reading allows individuals to refine comprehension skills from various angles, preventing engagement in risky behaviors due to a lack of knowledge. In educational settings, students look to their teachers for guidance and inspiration, including setting an example through reading books. Despite quality libraries and literacy programs, student interest in reading may not reach its full potential if teachers fail to act as reading role models. Unfortunately, enthusiasm for reading among teachers in Indonesia remains low. This research aims to uncover the availability of reading media in elementary schools utilizing the e-Library application (Smart Library). It focuses on the design of a reading media utilization program and the strategic implementation to enhance teachers' reading interest. Additionally, the research evaluates the impact of this media and program on teachers. A descriptive qualitative approach is employed, with research subjects from elementary schools in Bandung using Smart Library. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal the Smart Library Utilization Strategy Model to Increase Teachers' Reading Interest in Elementary Schools, comprising four steps: (1) Schools should provide comfortable reading media meeting teachers' needs, digital and physical; (2) School principals must design an innovative and diverse reading media utilization program to effectively enhance teachers' reading interest; (3) Implementation should proceed through strategic steps, from socialization to appreciation; and (4) Regular evaluation of teachers' reading interest improvement is essential to assess quality and identify factors influencing it.
