The reading interest in Indonesia still relatively low, so it is necessary to make it habitual. This habituation can be do early that children can like to reading books. On May 5 2018, Ditjen PAUD dan Dikmas, Direktorat Pembinaan Pendidikan Keluarga, and Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan organized Gerakan Nasional Orang Tua Membacakan Buku (Gernas Baku) for children. There are several methods that can be do for this movement, on of which is through the implementation of management participate. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of management parcipate in the application of Gernas Baku at RA Al-Azhar Bantur. This study use qualitative and type of case study research. The result of this study showed that in planning, parents took part in the ceremonies and socialization of Gernas Baku. In addition, parents also help in raising funds to buy children’s story books. In the implementation, parents participate in reading books for children, but monitoring and evaluation parents only give advice for school institution. The implementation of monitoring and evaluation is carried out by the institution and if there is particiption, it is discussed wit parents. This result indicate that parental involvement an important role in the implementation of Gernas Baku.

Early childhood has a range of abilities that need to be developed, one of them is fine motor capability, which is organizing the use of small muscles such as fingers and hands that often require care and eye coordination by hand. In the development of fine motor ability of the child that appears in the number of children who reach the end, where the research subject consists of 20 children, 8 boys and 12 daughters. Cycle I is only 10 children (40%), cycle II to 18 children (90%) That are categorized quite well on the II cycle. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of action, observation, and reflection. The data of this research includes qualitative data that the utilization of natural media made from Based on the results of the research, it is recommended to early childhood teachers to apply natural-made leaves in the development of child fine motor skills. Thereby improving the fine motor of early childhood through the use of the media in the surrounding leaves is very effective to be used in learning.

This research aims to improve the children’s fine motor skills by using used goods. The medium was the bottle caps of mineral water that were arranged into various goods of art. The study used a qualitative approach, and implemented the theory of Miles and Huberman in analyzing the data. The data collection techniques used were observation activity, interviews, and documentation. After the research was conducted, found that through the use of media learning goods were very pleasant, not take long, and were innovative and creative in creating the work. The use of media for used goods as a medium of teaching materials emphasize the active role of students in the learning process. Thus, learning not only focuses on teachers but is able to improve the child's fine motor skills through fingers flexibility, as well as the use of their five senses. Researchers concluded that learning activity on the use of media used to improve the children’s fine motor ability, and were able to bring creativity to the child through the activity of sticking the bottle cap into the arrangement of flower petals.

This experimental study aims to increase children’s comprehension of the concepts of number 1-10 by implementing the Course Review Horay Learning Model. The research subjects were group A children in PAUD Tunas Harapan Medan. The understanding of number concepts was evaluated from pretest and posttest with the indicator is to comprehend the concept of number. The scores were analyzed statistically by using the paired-sample t-test. The students in the experimental class were taught by using the Course Review Horay Learning Model, while the control was taught conventionally. The results of the study show the experimental class data group differs from the form control class with a significant value is 0.86 (p = 0.05). The results of the study concluded that the Course Review Horray Learning Model can significantly improve children's ability to understand the concept of number 1-10.

This study aims to develop the character of early childhood by using cultural malay-based traditional games. The children's world is synonymous with the playing world so that learning is more easily absorbed by children through play. Traditional games are very important to be introduced so children can find out games that have been around for generations. Children are introduced to traditional games that elevate Malay culture. The Malay culture is a characteristic of the Lancang Kuning earth, so that it became the Riau Vision and Mission in building its territory in reference to Malay Culture. In addition, through Malay culture children are educated in character building. The character of children is shaped according to Malay culture which is full of morality and religion. Child character development is very important to be formed early because character is permanent and inherent in children to adulthood. This study belongs to the category of descriptive research which describes the data relating to the formulation of the problems examined in this study. Data collection used in this study was carried out by total sampling technique. This research uses a Likert scale, namely from the results of observations and interviews. Then, the data analysis technique used is descriptive technique.

This research was conducted due to the low level of numeracy ability in children of group B in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Padangsidimpuan. The formulation of the problem under study was how to improve children's numeracy skills through numeric media. The research conducted was classroom action research consisting of two observations, each of which consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were children of group B in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Padangsidimpuan by using observation sheets. The data analysis used was qualitative data analysis techniques that can be seen from children's numeracy skills and quantitative data were calculated by formula. The results obtained in children's numeracy skills have increased. Before the action was taken, the level of numeracy ability of children was still very low, after the first cycle of research was obtained 44% and in the second cycle increased to 88%. After conducting research starting from pre-cycle, cycle I, cycle II, it was concluded that the numeracy ability of group B children in TK Kemala Bhayangkari 13 Padangsidimpuan had increased.

The phenomenon needing to consider at this time is the lack of development of fine motor children in the daily activity. Simple things such as buttoning their clothes, combing their hair, wearing shoelaces, folding their clothes, in fact, are difficult to do for children in Taman Kanak-Kanak Raisyah Padangsidimpuan. Therefore, this study aimed to improve children's fine motor skills through folding paper origami. This type of research used classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. The research was carried out in Taman Kanak-Kanak Raisyah Padangsidimpuan in group B with 15 children consisted of 9 boys and 6 girls. Based on the results found through observation techniques, interviews, tests, and documentation, it was concluded that folding paper origami can improve the fine motor skills of children in group B of Taman Kanak-Kanak Raisyah Padangsidimpuan. It could be seen from the achievement value in the first cycle stage only 33%. Whereas after the second cycle was done, the achievement of the value obtained reached 86%.

Mothers have multi-task that must be done every day. Household problem, work problem and also the economic problem experienced by many mothers in the District of Kepulauan Meranti became the causes of stress experienced by mothers that affect how she respond the environment, also affect the child rearing. The ability to deal with problems is called resilience. This study aims to examine the resilience of mothers who come from low income families in the District of Kepulauan Meranti. This study used descriptive quantitative method. Sampling method used is random sampling and there are 70 mothers as sample. It was found that the mother's resilience was 73,03%. Mothers in Kepulauan Meranti District is resilience eventough they have ti struggle with many stressfull condition. The support from spouse and relatives which offer the positive relationship help mothers to overcome stress and become resilience. Mother need to be resilient to deal with her multi-task, mainly in child rearing.

The fine motor skills of children in the group B2 of TK Islam Terpadu Darul Mukhlishin are still lack. It can be seen from the results of the letters written by the child that is not in accordance with the example given by the teacher. The study aims to an increase in children’s fine motor skills through writing activities on the sand in TK Islam Terpadu Darul Mukhlishin. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive statistical methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and tests. The research instrument used observation sheets, interview sheets and tests. Data analysis techniques used descriptive and inferential statistics using t-test. The results showed that fine motor skills achieved by children in group B2 before the action reached 30.25%. In the first cycle of action reached 61.125% while in the second cycle of action reached 91.5%. In testing hypotheses through t-test with a significant level of 5%, it show that the value of t-count ≥ t-table is 22.23 ≥ 2.093, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely writing on sand can improve children’s fine motor skills in group B2 of TK Islam Terpadu Darul Mukhlishin.

This study aims to improve 5-6-year-children’s language skills through scrambled wordplay in TK Methodist Binjai. This research was conducted because there were problems with the lack of children's language skills in recognizing letters and words. This research was a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 15 children of B-1 TK Methodist Binjai consisting of 4 boys and 11 girls. The object in this study was the language ability to recognize letters through scrambled wordplay. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation by filling in the observation table of the observed activities. This research was conducted in 2 (two) cycles. The results showed that the activity of playing scrambled words can improve children's language skills in recognizing letters and words. The results of observation in the first cycle obtained 46% of children who developed according to expectations and in the second cycle increased to 67% of children who developed as expected followed by 33% of children who developed very well. This showed that the activity of playing scrambled words to improve children's language skills in recognizing letters and words have been successful.
