Abstract

students. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. The research was carried out in semester 2 of the 2022/2023 academic year with the research subjects being teachers (researchers) and 21 fifth grade students. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis techniques. The focus description is in the form of learning processes and outcomes. The research instruments are observation, tests, and documentation. Based on the data obtained during the implementation, the research results in the first cycle of teacher activity were classified as sufficient (C), student activities were classified as sufficient (c), and the completeness of student learning outcomes was classified as sufficient (C), with an average value of 60; cycle II teacher activity is good (B), student activity is good (B), and student learning outcomes are good (B), with an average score of 78.33. The conclusion of the study is that by applying the index card match type cooperative learning model it can improve the process and results of learning mathematics in the subject of volume builds for class V UPTD SD Negeri 77 Parepare.

Abstract

Project-based learning model is a learning model that involves students in designing, creating, and displaying products to improve a certain skill based on real-world needs. This research aims to measure how much influence the project-based learning model has on students' reading and writing skills at the primary education level. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The research instrument used was an observation sheet for students' reading and writing skills. The results of the research show that the project-based learning model has a significant effect on students' reading and writing skills at the primary education level. Students' reading and writing skills show that students' basic literacy in terms of reading and writing is already in the very skilled category. The project-based learning model can be applied to research other basic literacy that is still needed by students at the primary education level. Teachers should be more creative and innovative in teaching other basic literacys so that students' competencies can compete globally.

Abstract

This study objectives to improve students learning processes and students achievement in science content of grade IV UPT SD Negeri 2 Rappang. Qualitative research approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK). The implementation of the action consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The percentage level of the process and student learning achievement is known through the results of observation sheets and evaluation tests in each cycle. The subjects of this research are teachers and grade IV students in the 2022/2023 school year totaling 20 students. The results of the first cycle research on the teacher aspect obtained C qualifications, the student aspect C qualifications, and the results of the student evaluation test C qualifications. The results of the implementation of cycle II on the teacher aspect obtained qualification B, the student aspect qualification B, and the results of the student evaluation test qualification B. The conclusion of this research is that by applying the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve the process and learning achievement of students in the science content of grade IV UPT SD Negeri 2 Rappang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the teacher in increasing student learning motivation in learning at SDN Sarirejo 03 Pati Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. This research will be conducted at SD Negeri Sarirejo 03 by taking teachers and students as research subjects. The results of this study indicate the teacher's role in motivating student learning to learn optimally. The role of the teacher includes the teacher as a facilitator, the teacher provides learning facilities with the help of textbooks, LKS besides that the teacher makes use of the surrounding environment or technological developments, the teacher as a motivator the teacher motivates by giving rewards such as starboards, if there are students who are not enthusiastic about learning the teacher visits the place students sit, the teacher as a trigger, the teacher uses scientific learning methods and problem solving, and the teacher as an inspiration, the teacher creates a conducive atmosphere by designing rules and prohibitions and sanctions that have been agreed upon by the teacher and students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is motivated by the situation of the Covid-19 virus pandemic which continues to increase so that in the world of education it affects motivation and student learning outcomes decrease. This research method uses class action research, the procedure applied is quasi-experimental and uses random sampling data collection techniques and hypothesis testing in data analysis. Results obtained Based on data analysis, it is concluded that: 1) There is an influence of using Learning Videos in learning in increasing the learning motivation of elementary school students in Bekasi Regency. This is evidenced by the results of testing the hypothesis that rejects Ho1 and accepts Ha1 with a sig value. 0.055 < 0.05. 2) There is an effect of using Learning Videos in improving the learning outcomes of elementary school students in Bekasi Regency. This is evidenced by the results of testing the hypothesis that rejects Ho2 and accepts Ha2 with a sig. 0.018 < 0.05. 3) There is an effect of using Learning Videos on learning in increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of elementary school students in Bekasi Regency. This is evidenced by the results of testing the hypothesis that rejects Ho3 and accepts Ha3 with a sig. 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant effect of using Learning Videos in increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of elementary school students in Bekasi Regency.

Abstract

Supervision of the sub-district area coordinator in the field of education is one way that can be done to assess the quality of primary education in the area concerned. This research aims to measure how much influence the supervision carried out by the sub-district coordinator has on the quality of primary education in the Bengkalis sub-district, Bengkalis district. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The results of the research show that the supervision carried out by the sub-district coordinator has a significant effect on the quality of primary education in the Bengkalis sub-district, Bengkalis district. The quality of primary education is reflected in the quality of teachers who are continuing their master's degree in primary education with a total of 23 teachers from the elementary school level and 3 teachers from the junior high school level. Certified teachers should continue their studies to the master level of primary education so that the quality of the teacher concerned can improve and generally improve the quality of primary education in their respective sub-districts.

Abstract

Literacy practice has not yet become an ideal condition in West Kalimantan. In the cultural dimension, the habit of accessing literacy materials is the province with the 3rd lowest index score. Various studies state that literacy in the early grades will affect the success of learning in other areas of learning, even in subsequent classes. This research aims to produce a digital story calendar product containing local wisdom values that are appropriate as a strategy to strengthen literacy in the early grades. This study's method adapted Borg and Gall's research procedures. In the validation test, the percentage of media expert validators was 89%, language expert validators 88%, material expert validators 90%, and education practitioners 92.1%. In addition, limited trial results were obtained by 80% in small group trials and 85% in large group trials. These results show the percentage is in the high category. Therefore, a digital story calendar contains local wisdom Values as a Strategy for Strengthening Student Literacy in Early Grades which shows that it is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of public relations management in attracting prospective students at SMKN 1 Pasarwajo. This research method is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive research type. Data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) The role of public relations as a communicator (liaison) for the internal public through formal meetings and flag ceremonies while for the external public through school profile presentations, student guardian meetings, collaboration with DUDI, and conveying school information to the community, 2) The role of public relations as a relationship builder through formal meeting activities, retirement activities, outreach activities to the community, and also collaboration between DUDI parties, 3) The role of public relations as back up management (management support), namely a) in public relations planning, b) in implementation, c) in the implementation of the evaluation, and 4) The role of public relations as a corporate image for the internal public by creating a conducive atmosphere in schools, and services to the public. As for the external public through social service and participation in community activities.

Abstract

Principal supervision is one of the duties and functions that must be carried out by school principals in the school environment which are their duties and responsibilities. One of the supervisions carried out by the principal is to maintain and ensure the competence of teachers remains qualified. This study aims to improve the ability of teachers in writing lesson plans and presentations through supervision by the principal. The method used in this research is the school action research method. This method has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 18 teachers consisting of 3 male teachers and 15 female teachers. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The research instrument used was the teacher's lesson plan assessment sheet and the teacher's presentation observation sheet. The results of the study can increase the ability to write lesson plans and teacher presentations from pre-action to cycle 1 by 10,2%. Therefore, this research can be used as a reference in improving the ability to write lesson plans and teacher presentations as a whole by 10,2%. Supervision of school principals needs to be carried out continuously so that teacher competence is maintained.

Abstract

Implementation of the Vocational Skills Integrated Basic Literacy Program, consisting of: 1) Strategies for integrating vocational skills in the basic literacy program  ; 2) Factors affecting the implementation of basic literacy program learning.  Thestrategies applied in the integration  of vocational skills in thebasic literacy program are: a) Determinationof program progress; b) Identification; c) Implementation of learning; d) Learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the factors supporting the implementation of basic literacy in mastering the literacy of residents studying in Tukamasea Village, Bantimurung District, Maros Regency, include: 1) Indonesian Bugis-Makassar dialect as the native mother tongue used as the main communication of learning residents, 2) The quality of literacy tutors, 3) Positive responses of learning residents to basic literacy programs, 4) Motives of residents to learn and family support,  10) Community support for the program, as well as 5) Good coordination ability between parties related to program implementation.
