Abstract

This research aims to examine the relevance of the educational concept of TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in the contemporary era through the qualitative research approach of library research. The Islamic educational concept passed down by TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid is a product of deep contemplative thought that integrates religious values with the advancements of time. The contemporary era is characterized by rapid social, technological, and informational dynamics, thus necessitating an evaluation of the relevance of the Islamic educational concept. This study employs a library research approach to collect, analyze, and synthesize literature related to the Islamic educational concept of TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. The collected data is analyzed descriptively and interpretively to identify the elements of the Islamic educational concept and its implications in the contemporary era. The research findings indicate that the Islamic educational concept of TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid holds strong relevance in the contemporary era. This concept emphasizes deep understanding of religious teachings, the establishment of noble ethics, self-development, community empowerment, and the strengthening of faith and piety. This relevance is reflected in the concept's ability to respond to challenges and opportunities emerging in the context of globalization, pluralism, and technology. The Islamic educational concept of TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid also encourages the formation of resilient and tolerant character traits, as well as the ability to adapt to the changing times. This research affirms the significant relevance of the Islamic educational concept inherited from TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid in the contemporary era. This concept can serve as a guide for educational institutions and Muslim communities in facing various challenges and dynamics of the modern age. It is hoped that this research contributes to enriching the discourse on Islamic education amidst the complexity of current global developments.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low interest of students in learning Theme 4 Sub Theme 1 Types of Work in Class IV MI NW Montong Mas, low learning outcomes, teachers who do not motivate students or the learning process is less interesting and learning facilities are limited. The problem solving used to overcome this problem is by using the Number Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative learning model. The objectives of this research are 1). To find out the application of the Number Heads Together (NHT) cooperative method to learning outcomes 2). To determine learning planning using the Number Heads Together (NHT) model and 3). To find out the implementation of learning using the Number Heads Together (NHT) method. This study used classroom action research and was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation or observation, and reflection. Data collection is obtained through observation, tests and documentation. The subjects of this research were class IV students at MI NW Montong Mas for the 2020/2021 academic year. The variables in this research are student learning outcomes in theme 4 sub theme 1 types of work in class IV MI NW Montong Mas using the NHT type cooperative method. From the results of the analysis it was found that student learning outcomes in Theme 4 Sub Theme 1 Types of Work have increased, this is indicated by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, in cycle I (53.85%) meaning that classical completeness has not been achieved, and in cycle II (92.30%), meaning that classical learning completeness has been achieved. From the research results, it was concluded that the NHT learning model had a positive impact on improving the learning outcomes of class IV students at MI NW Montong Mas. It is recommended that it can be used as input or consideration for teachers, especially in Theme 4 Sub Theme 1 Types of Work, that NHT model learning needs to be implemented and developed.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational and broadcasting institutions characterized by kiyai or what we often call "Ustadz" as the central figure, with a modern dormitory system occupied by the students, halls, special rooms and mosques as the focal point of their activities such as reciting books that are not have rows and so on. Islamic boarding schools in general in Indonesia in their development have various kinds of typologies, namely salafiyah, khalafiyah, and Islamic boarding schools that combine the two models and systems of Islamic boarding schools in accordance with the curriculum in Islamic boarding schools. The curriculum at khalfiyah or modern Islamic boarding schools which in general have switched to the madrasa system uses the curriculum used by the government, in this case the Ministry of Religion and the Ministry of Education and Culture. Meanwhile, the curriculum in salafiyah or traditional pesantren refers to the funun of the yellow books and the completeness of the books they study every day. Basically, Islamic boarding schools have a very important role in fighting for and completing the era of independence, especially in the lines of Islamic education in today's modern masses.

Abstract

Abstrak Pada saat sekarang ini metode, strategi, maupun teknik mengajar guru sangat mempengaruhi minat serta keberhasilan pembelajaran siswa dikelas. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengembangan pada sistem pembelajaran oleh guru. Penerapan strategi belajar untuk meningkatkan minat siswa pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiah (MTs) NW Montong Mas sebagai landasan pengembangan spiritual terhadap kesejahteraan kehidupan sosial mutlak harus ditingkatkan karena asumsinya adalah jika pendidikan agama yang meliputi Aqidah Akhlak, Qur’an Hadits, Fiqih, Bahasa Arab yang dijadikan landasan pengembangan nilai spiritual dilakukan dengan baik, maka kehidupan sosial akan terasa rukun. Berdasarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kelemahan dalam belajar Akidah Akhlak terdapat pada kurangnya variasi dalam pembelajaran, misalnya penggunaan metode yang di ulang-ulang dan sifatnya banyak cerita serta membuat jenuh atau bosan yang mengakibatkan kurangnya minat siswa dalam belajar dan membuat siswa pasif atau tidak aktif dalam proses pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada atau tidak ada pengaruh metode diskusi langsung (Sharing) terhadap minat belajar siswa pada pelajaran Akidah Akhlak Kelas VIII di MTs NW Montong Mas. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan desain eksperimen. Pengumpulan data mengunakan angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, analisis data bersifat statistik, dengan tujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil analisis pos-tes uji t diperoleh sig. 0,000 < 0,05 dan diketahui bahwa t hitung > t tabel. Dari kedua hasil tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan metode diksusi langsung (Sharing) terhadap minat belajar siswa pada pelajaran Akidah Akhlak Kelas VIII di MTs NW Montong Mas tahun pelajaran. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Metode Diskusi Langsung (Sharing), Minat Belajar, Siswa, Akidah Akhlak.

Abstract

This research aims to reconsider the concept of polygamy in Islam, with a focus on the development of social theology within the context of Islamic family law and Islamic education. In traditional perspectives, polygamy is often narrowly interpreted, without considering the potential social, economic, and educational impacts. In an effort to redefine the concept of polygamy, this research analyzes various written works and views of prominent scholars in Islam. The research attempts to embrace a broader and more holistic perspective on polygamy, involving social theology as a key analytical tool. This approach allows us to examine the social implications of polygamous practices, including issues such as gender equality, women's rights, and their influence on the education of children within polygamous families. The research method employed is qualitative library research. The results of this study will provide fresh insights into how polygamy can be understood within the context of Islamic family law and Islamic education, while highlighting the importance of considering the social aspects associated with this practice. This research is expected to provide a stronger foundation for discussions about polygamy in modern Muslim society and promote a deeper understanding of its implications within the social and educational context.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the convergence of thought between two prominent figures in the Islamic world, namely Yusuf al-Qardhawi and Fazlur Rahman, in the context of Sharia economics and Islamic education. This study is comparative in nature, focusing on the analysis of their thoughts related to the principles of Sharia economics and their approaches to shaping Islamic education relevant to contemporary times. The research method employed in this study is a literature review, which includes the analysis of the works of Yusuf al-Qardhawi and Fazlur Rahman, as well as relevant literature studies. The findings of the research indicate that despite their different intellectual backgrounds, there is convergence in their views on Sharia economic principles, such as economic justice, ownership, and the prohibition of usury. Furthermore, both emphasize the importance of inclusive, contextual, and contemporary-relevant Islamic education. This research contributes to understanding the convergence of thought between Yusuf al-Qardhawi and Fazlur Rahman in the context of Sharia economics and Islamic education. These findings can serve as a source of inspiration for the development of more inclusive and relevant Sharia economic thought, as well as Islamic education that aligns with the demands of contemporary times.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed the landscape of dakwah practices in society. This article investigates the sociological challenges faced in dakwah practices in the digital era and seeks solutions to overcome these challenges. The research aims to identify sociological challenges related to dakwah in the digital era and formulate solutions to address these challenges. The research method employed is a literature review using a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were obtained through the analysis of scholarly literature, journal articles, books, and other relevant sources discussing dakwah in the digital era. Data analysis detailed the sociological challenges encountered in digital dakwah practices, such as shifts in communication paradigms and the dissemination of unverified religious content. Proposed solutions to address these challenges were also analyzed to assess their potential for successful implementation. The results of this research indicate that dakwah practices in the digital era face significant changes in how religious communication is conducted, along with the risk of spreading extremist views. Proposed solutions, such as leveraging digital technology and collaboration between religious institutions and technology platforms, have the potential to address these challenges. Dakwah in the digital era faces sociological challenges that need to be addressed to ensure its relevance and effectiveness. The suggested solutions, if well-implemented, can help maintain a moderate, tolerant, and peaceful approach to dakwah in society. This research has practical implications for preachers and religious institutions in understanding the changes in dakwah practices in the digital era. Furthermore, the research findings can assist technology platforms in monitoring religious content and preventing the spread of extremist views. These implications can contribute to the promotion of peace and tolerance in an increasingly digitally connected society.
