Abstract

The Arabic learning and development of halal tourism in Lombok was developed because of the needs of the rapidly increasing national and global tourism market and as a tangible manifestation of the island's thousand mosques jargon. The seriousness of the NTB Regional Government in preparing halal tourism is evidenced through the ratification of the Regional Regulation of the Province of West Nusa Tenggara Number 2 of 2016 concerning Halal Tourism. This halal travel brand seems to be quite successful, because the statistics of tourist visits to Lombok show an increase. As an area that develops halal tourism, the NTB Regional Government must prioritize Arabic as a language of communication to provide maximum service to foreign tourists who are predominantly Muslim, and communicate in Arabic. This study aims to determine the Arabic language skills of guides on the island of Lombok. The research method used is qualitative with a field research model. The results showed that the ability of Arabic guides on Lombok Island is still very low, and this is due to the lack of training conducted by the NTB Regional Government as a form of support for the development of halal tourism. Therefore, the local government must collaborate with various Education that acclimates Arabic in its education process to improve Arabic language skills for guides, especially boarding schools in West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Kegelisahan peneliti terhadap merosotnya akhlal generasi muda yang mendapat pendidikan di lingkungan Madrasah maupun di tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Pengimplementasian pendidikan karakter diharapkan mampu membentuk generasi yang bermoral dan berakhlak islami. Dengan pendidikan karakter juga dapat memberikan jalan keluar untuk membentuk peserta didik menjadi manusia yang baik di muka bumi melalui lingkungan Madrasah maupun di luar Madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang Implementasi Pendidikan Karakter melalui Mata Pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif diskriptif dengan mengambil lokasi di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Samawa Desa Labuhan Sumbawa Kecamatan Labuhan Badas Kabupaten Sumbawa provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mengetahui bentuk implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui Pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak, kendala dan solusi dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter. Adapun analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif melalui tiga alur kegiatan, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak sebagai berikut: melalui pengajaran yang di lakukan oleh pendidik Aqidah Akhlak melalui Implementasi pendidikan karakter pada Mata Pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak pendidik menggunakan 3 cara: penjelasan, prilaku dan sikap. Faktor pendukung adalah Fasilitas, Silabus, RPP, Program Pemerintah, Susunan Visi dan Misi serta Guru Agama yang lain. Yang menjadi kendala adalah kurangnya inovasi pembelajaran kreatif. Adapun solusinya adalah pendidik harus menentukan topic dan media ajar yang yang selektif.

Abstract

This study discussed the influence of self-concept and interpersonal communication on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics (PAI-BP) of 8thclass students of SMP N 2 Juwana. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of self-concept and interpersonal communication on learning outcomes of PAI-BP. This research is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis. The Data was collected by using simple random sampling survey with the sample 152 and population 245 students of 8th class. The data collection technique was questionnaire method and a written test. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that there was a significant influence between self-concept and interpersonal communication on the learning outcomes of PAI-BP and the coefficient of determination was 0.625. The coefficient of determination showed that the regression model represented 62,5% of data variance, and 37.5% was represented by other variables outside the regression model.

Abstract

There were discrepancies between applications of quantitative research, that is statistical methods, and qualitative research. In PAI Program, 26% of theses used quantitative research, and 74% qualitative. The cause was not known, but there were several reasons why this inequality should not be too big. First, sciences should always be approached, dissected, and analyzed using qualitative, quantitative, or mix-methods. Second, students' perceptions of statistics was in the good category, although there were only a few studies regarding this. For reducing this discrepancy, this study proposed to identify the relevance of applying statistical methods methodologically in research. This study used descriptive qualitative research. The data was thesis of S.1 PAI programm in UIN Walisongo Semarang 2020/2021 collected by census.There are irrelevance in applications of statistical methods. First, applications of simple linear regression analysis have 7 missinterpretation and analysis results were incomplete. Second, applications of correlation analysis have 5 misinterpretations, and analysis results were incomplete. Third, applications of multiple linear regression analysis have 2 missinterpretations, but analysis results were completed. Fourth, applications of central tendency have 1 misinterpretation, but analisis results were complete. Fifth, applications of Bar chart have 1 misinterpretation, and the chart anatomies were incomplete.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are considered as backward and less participatory traditional institutions, but have great potential in terms of mobilizing local resources, potential sources of labor, and sources of political support. With the development of increasingly advanced times, Islamic boarding schools need to modernize holistically institutionally, curriculum and learning methods. For this reason, the author tries to reveal the modernization of Islamic education according to Azyumardi Azra at the Al-Aqobah Islamic boarding school, Jombang. The results of this study found that the institutional modernization of the Islamic education system at the al-Aqobah Islamic boarding school still adheres to the classic pesantren tradition while at the same time innovating with modernity. Thus making the Al-Aqobah Islamic boarding school transform into a hybrid, namely combining salaf (traditional) and khalaf (modern). Modernization of the curriculum at the Al-Aqobah Islamic boarding school has at least fulfilled religious education (tafaqquh fi al-din), madrasah, formal schools, and skills education. Meanwhile, the modernization of learning methods has also used a variety of up-to-date technological devices to support learning objectives and the use of contemporary teaching materials and learning media.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the impact of multiculturalism on Islamic education through a literature review. Multiculturalism is a global phenomenon that affects people's lives in various aspects including education. In the context of Islamic education, multiculturalism influences the paradigms, methods, and curriculum of Islamic education. This paper uses qualitative methods using a phenomenological approach. Phenomenology is the science that studies phenomena or symptoms. Data tracing is carried out through various literary sources such as books, journals, and scientific articles related to the theme discussed. The findings of this study reveal that multiculturalism has a significant impact on Islamic education, where the paradigm shift of Islamic education becomes more inclusive and adaptive. The requirements for multiculturalism education can work if there is tolerance, respect for differences, and cooperation. In developing a multicultural curriculum, teaching materials are needed that accommodate student diversity, and the establishment of a learning environment that is inclusive and respects differences. Thus, Islamic education can develop a more inclusive paradigm and accommodate diversity in society. The challenges of implementing multiculturalism in Islamic education are differences in religious interpretations, stereotypes and prejudices, controversies over the use of language, and local cultural influences.

Abstract

Diferensiasi pembelajaran merupakan program lama di dunia pendidikan di indonesia namun penerapanya masih sangat baru sehingga masih sedikit sekolah yang menerapkannya. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq Jl. Parit Jaya Sui Raya Kubu Raya yang sudah dalam satu tahun ini sudah menjalan sistem pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Akan tetapi dalam implementasinya, masih ditemukan beberapa problem. Penelitian ini peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada guru kelas di kelas 3 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq Jl.Parit Jaya Sui Raya Kubu Raya dan apa saja factor yang menjadi penghambat dalam penerapnya. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik obsevasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa langkah-langkah dalam penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq ditempuh melalui pemetaan, perencanaan, dan evaluasi. Peran kepala Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq juga sudah cukup baik yang ditandai dengan kerjasama dengan para orang tua, komite, dan Kementerian Agama, dukungan sumber belajar, dan penyediaan sarana dan prasarana. Hal utama yang menjadi penghambat pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di Madarsah Ibtidaiyah Raudhatut Taufiq ialah kemampuan guru yang masih minim dalam memahami pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mengingat mereka masih kurang pengalaman.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan sebuah negara kepulauan yang masyarakatnya memiliki beraneka ragam budaya meliputi perbedaan budaya, agama, ras, bahasa, suku, tradisi, dan lain-lain. Sehingga menyikapi hal ini diperlukan toleransi dalam memahami semua perbedaan yang ada. Oleh karena itu, moderasi beragama sangat tepat digunakan dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara terutama pada kalangan mahasiswa. Moderasi beragama merupakan jalan tengah dalam menghadapi perbedaan baik kelompok ekstrim maupun fundamental. Peran mahasiswa dengan keilmuan yang dimiliki, diharapkan dapat menjunjung tinggi nilai toleransi serta sebagai pelopor untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait moderasi beragama. Mahasiswa sangat diperlukan untuk mensosialisasikan dan mengembangkan moderasi beragama masyarakat guna mewujudkan kerukunan dan kedamaian. Untuk mewujudkan moderasi beragama dapat dilakukan dengan saling merangkul dan mengedepankan nilai-nilai toleransi antar umat beragama. Moderasi beragama merupakan kunci terpeliharanya toleransi dan kerukunan, baik tingkat lokal, nasional maupun global. Menolak ekstremisme dan liberalisme dalam beragama adalah kunci keseimbangan, demi terpeliharanya peradaban dan terciptanya perdamaian. Dengan cara inilah masing-masing umat beragama dapat saling menghormati, menerima perbedaan, serta hidup bersama dalam damai dan harmoni. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena penyebaran paham-paham ekstrem, liberal, serta intoleran tidak hanya mengarah pada masyarakat umum saja, melainkan kalangan pelajar serta mahasiswa juga menjadi sasaran empuk dalam penyebarannya. Dikarenakan mahasiswa yang berusia relatif muda yang masih dalam tahap mencari jati diri, dan rendahnya pengetahuan keagamaan mahasiswa sehingga mudah terpengaruh terhadap paham-paham tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil analisis peneliti maka diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan dalam membentuk sikap moderasi beragama mahasiswa di kampus yakni dengan cara memberikan pendalaman pengetahuan agama, selektif terhadap tenaga pengajar, dan akomodatif terhadap budaya lokal. Hal ini sesuai dengan hasil wawancara serta observasi peneliti terkait kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan.

Abstract

The emergence of a knowledge always begins with a question. Students have good questioning skills which are one of the benchmarks for gathering information, informing what is known, and directing what is not known. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of lecturer policies on the quantity and quality of students' ability to ask questions based on Bloom's taxonomy which has been revised in the course of Islamic Religious Education Material Development course. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at FTIK IAIN Manado with the research respondents being all 5th semester C grade students, totaling 33 students. Based on the data obtained, it shows that the number of students who asked questions was 96%. The quality of the questions in this study was 40.62% in the category of low-level questions and 59.3% indicated that students asked questions in the high-level question category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the student's ability to ask questions is classified as high, seeing from the most data, although not significant, so it is felt that it needs to be improved and developed.

Abstract

Character education is a substantial part of the Islamic education system. Observing a number of recent viral incidents with the fact that the moral decline of the nation's children is caused by one of them many Indonesian schools which only make schools a place for the transfer of knowledge in general or ethics but have not fulfilled the stage of forming ethics and morals. TMI Al-Amien Prenduan is an integrated learning system Islamic boarding school in Sumenep where the process of forming the character of students at TMI Al-Amien is basically directly applied in real life through daily activities. This study aims to determine the efforts and supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of the character of students through habituation of discipline in Islamic boarding school activities at TMI Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Collecting data with interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis performs data condensation, presents data, draws conclusions. The results of the study show that: Efforts in the formation of the character of students through habituation of the discipline of Islamic boarding school activities at TMI Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep are through the stages: planning, implementation, controlling, evaluating. Supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of the character of students, namely: Supporting Factors: Internal Factors, namely: Motivation and awareness of the students themselves and the background of the students, External Factors, namely: Ustadz Ustadzah, Active Management, Adequate facilities, and Conducive Environment.
