Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, which was proclaimed by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 2020, has impacted stock risk on the capital market. Stock price forecasting can be used to provide future stock projection prices in order to reduce risk. The ARMA GARCH model and its development model can forecast stock prices by incorporating exogenous factors such as the ARMAX GARCH, ARMA GARCHX, and ARMAX GARCHX models. PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk's stock price is analyzed in this study, along with the exogenous factors of total daily positive cases and total daily fatalities cases of Covid-19 from March 16, 2020, to January 31, 2022.The results of several models show that based on MAPE value the ARMAX GARCH model has better accuracy in forecasting stock price.

This happens because the ability to understand concepts is the basis for having other mathematical abilities. However, the reality on the ground, according to the results of observations and interviews with an elementary school (SD) teacher in Sumedang Regency, is known that in learning mathematics, the ability to understand mathematics is still relatively low. One of the media that is expected to improve the ability of students to understand mathematical concepts is dienes block media. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in the ability to understand mathematical concepts between students who receive learning using Dienes block media and students who learn without using Dienes block media in addition material. The method used in this study was quasi-experimental with nonequivalent pre-test-post-test control group design. The instrument used is a test of ability to understand mathematical concepts (pre-test and post-test). The population in this study were all grade II students at SDN Cilengkrang 2022/2023 with a total of 54 people. The sample used was the total sample, namely class II A which consisted of 29 students as the control class and class II B which consisted of 25 students as the experimental class. In the learning process, the experimental class used Dienes block media and the control class did not use Dienes block media. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that there were differences in the ability to understand mathematical concepts between students who received learning using Dienes block media and students who received learning without using Dienes block media in addition material. Students who receive learning with Dienes block media have the ability to understand mathematical concepts better than students who learn without Dienes block media.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy ability is a person's ability to understand mathematical problems that exist in everyday life. This study aims to describe the effect of the LiveWorksheet-assisted problem based learning (PBL) model on students' mathematical literacy abilities in Trigonometry material. The sample of this study were 2 classes with a total of 64 high school students in class X. This quantitative research method used data analysis techniques with the 3-test which had previously passed the analysis prerequisite tests, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed that the effect of the LKS-assisted PBL model had an effect on the mathematical literacy skills of class X students. This was indicated by the average problem-based learning model assisted by LKS obtaining an average value of 89.125 and the control class obtaining an average value of 83.218 so that it has a difference of 5.907 . Thus, it can be said that the class that applies the LKS-assisted problem-based learning model obtains a greater average score. , so this causes  to be rejected at a significance level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom , then there is an effect of the PBL Model Liveworksheet on students' mathematical literacy abilities.

Abstract

Disruption of the Java Sumatra Kalimantan (Jasuka) submarine cable communication system significantly impacted the smooth flow of communications. To reduce the impact, the detection of critical nodes in the network uses the critical node detection method to identify the most important nodes in the Jasuka network. This study aims to apply the critical node detection method as integer linear programming on the Jasuka network to obtain critical nodes by minimizing the number of paired connections on the nodes. The data in this research comes from the Jasuka network, represented as nodes and edges, and then analyzed using Python 3.11 software. The results showed that the critical node of the Jasuka submarine cable communication system is located at index 5 and 14 or the landing point Dumai, Riau and Palembang Jambi. The critical node on the Jasuka network can be a reference for Telkom Indonesia to pay special attention to the landing point because the damage will impact the entire network.

Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the essential skills in this 21st century. Students' critical thinking in mathematics has yet to be optimal. Therefore, this study aims to produce Problem-Based Learning Worksheets, particularly on the Cartesian Diagram topic, that are valid and practical to support students' critical thinking skills. The critical thinking skills indicators are giving simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding, giving advanced reasons, and devising strategies. This research uses a 4-D development model consisting of 4 stages: define, design, development, and disseminate. However, this article will only discuss the first three stages. This study involved two experts in mathematics content, two in mathematics learning media, and 34 eight grade public junior high school students in Kartasura, Central Java, Indonesia. The data collection method applied in this study is questionnaires. Based on the data analysis, the worksheet developed is valid (with the good category), with an average score of 4,1 and 4,0 from the content and learning media experts, respectively. At the same time, students' responses on the practicality of the worksheets were an average of 4,2, which is in the excellent category. In addition, it shows that 64,70 % of students reaching the minimum score requirement (75) for the critical thinking test. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning worksheets developed reach valid and practical categories to support students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

One way to design good learning is to pay attention to the possibility of the learning flow that will occur in the classroom and the possible processes that students will go through, then make up what the teacher should do when this happens. These possibilities are also called the hypothetical learning trajectory. In this study focused on the design of mathematics learning on the material system of two-variable linear equations in grade VIII junior high school involving one class of 18 people. The instruments used were tests and non-tests. This study aims to explore pedagogical phenomena to formulate alternative learning designs for linear equations through problem-based learning. Perspectives and pedagogical encouragement about teaching mathematics during the learning process are reflected in the deepest thoughts and emotions of students and teachers. The research method uses a qualitative type of didactical design research, which is a type of learning design research where learning designs can be formulated from several perspectives, namely the theory of learning trajectories and their obstacles and learning situations during the learning process. The stages carried out in this research are: 1) introduction and analysis of the problem; 2) analysing the curriculum related to the mathematics textbooks used; 3) Identify the characteristics of learning obstacles and learning barriers; 4) identify didactic situations during learning. The results of the research yielded the characteristics of learning trajectories and learning obstacles, which were used as the basis for the pedagogical situation of learning linear equation material through exploratory problem-based learning.
