Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research was conducted based on the fact which indicated the students low motivation to rehearse the learning material which emerged the students difficulties to do the mathematical questions. The purpose of this research was to know whether the students treated by college ball strategy have better comprehension of mathematical concept than those who are treated by conventional strategy. This was an experimental research which used random sampling. The population was the VIII grade students of MTSN Talaok Bayang. The VIII.5 was the experimental class while the VIII.3 class was the control class. The instrument was final test. The hypotheses was tested by one tailed test. It was found that t-obtained > t-table. Thus,it can be concluded that the students treated by college ball strategy had better mathematical comprehension than those who treated the conventional strategy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuipengaruh strategi pembelajaran active knowledge sharing berbasis socio scientific issues terhadap communication skills siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dan desain yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group desain. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMAS PAB 4 Sampali. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 25 siswa untuk kelas eksperimen dan 25 siswa untuk kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah tes-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa kemampuan komunikasi tulis siswa pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran active knowledge sharing lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan test-t yang dapatkan t hitung = 2,628 dengan melihat krikteria uji taraf 5% diperolah t tabel = 2,008, dimana dengan krikteria uji t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel = 2,628>2,008, sehingga H0 ditolak, berarti Ha diterima

Abstract

The research is aimed to know the difficulties of learning that are faced by students in completing the questions proving math in the eyes of college geometry and knowing the factors that affect the students difficult to resolve the problems of proving mathematics. Research is a research qualitative by using strategies case study research that aims to describe the difficulties of students in solving mathematical proof problems with descriptive analysis methods. Difficulties are referred to is the difficulty in the concept and principles of geometry. The subjects of this study were 3th semester of Mathematics Education students at Islamic State University of North Sumatera Medan, academic  year 2019/2020 PMM1 class consisting  of 39 students. The instrument was the test which consisted of 4 proof problems at geometry, interview and documentation. Difficulties students in learning geometry includes things following namely : the student is difficult to respond to what the intention and purpose matter, is difficult determine the beginning or the beginning of a proof, difficult to find an idea and notion, difficult to apply the definition, nature, and the theorem in constructing the proof , and students still difficult to think logically determine the steps proving that true . The type of error that predominantly occurs in the model answers of students, in the form of the type of error the data is not appropriate, procedures are not appropriate, the conflict level of response, and the problem hierarchy of skills. Factors that make the students difficult to learn geometry, namely the factor of matter which is considered difficult to understand, apply, and applied in solving the problem

Abstract

Abstrak. Rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa bisa terjadi dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah siswa yang belum cukup memiliki self concept matematis. Faktor kedua yaitu guru tanpa memperhatikan kesiapan komunikasi matematis siswa. Dengan permasalahan tersebut peneliti mengembangkan  model pembelajaran Kemp Berbasis think pair square dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa dan self concept siswa. Penelitian merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain eksperimennya adalah desain kelompok kontrol tidak ekuivalen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Arjawinangun Kabupaten Cirebon dengan mengambil sampel 2 kelas untuk kelompok eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran model Kemp berbasis think pair square, kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Dalam pelaksanaanya, tes kemampuan komunikasi diberikan pretes dan postes sedangkan self concept diberikan setelah proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan skala sikap. Pengujian dilakukan melalui data N-gain kemampuan komunikasi dan skala sikap. Hasil penelitiannya adalah Pembelajaran dengan model Kemp berbasis think pair square dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan self concept matematis siswa lebih baik dari pada pembelajaran konvensional. Abstract. The low of Math Communication ability students can caused by two factor. The first factor is students have no ability of sefl concept math. The second factor is teacher without pay attention to readiness communication students math. Bassed on this problem reaserchen try to develop teaching Kemp model based ability of think pair square to increasing ability of students communication and students self concept. Research is quasi experiment research use its design experiment group control not equivalen. The population of this research was all student of grade 8th SMPN 1 Arjawinangun Regency Cirebon, take class for sample to experiment group and control. Experiment group get teaching model Kemp based ability think pair square, class control with conventional teaching. In activity test communication ability given pre test and post test, while self concept given after teaching process that use behavior scale. This testing by data N-gain communication ability and behavior scale. The result of research is teaching with ability model teaching based think pair square can increasing communication ability and self concept math students better than conventional teaching.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan pengajaran kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya olahraga sejak dini, khususnya kepada Siswa SDN 055980 Aman Damai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Yaitu metode penelitian yang bersifat kolaboratif dan transformatif. Diharapkan setelah kegiatan sosialisasi ini para Siswa yang kurang aktif bermain atau lebih terbiasa berdiam diri dirumah dapat lebih aktif dan bersosialisasi dengan anak-anak lainnya dan diharapkan juga agar pertumbuhan anak dapat lebih baik karena Siswa sejak dini telah berolah raga yaitu dengan bermain, berlari, dan meloncat yang membuat tubuh anak lebih aktif dan pertumbuhan tubuh anak juga akan lebih baik yang menjadikan tubuh anak menjadi lebih kuat dalam menempu masa depannya yang akan datang dan masa depan yang cerah akan menyambut generasi mendatang dengan kesiapan fisik dan mental yang kuat.

Abstract

Learning scenario is the important thing in teaching process. Designing of good learning scenario is one of effort to increase learning quality. The aims of this study is to see the validity and practicality of the developed MIKiR-based active learning scenario. This study was carried out at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Nurul Ilmi with the number of study subjects are 40 students from two fifth grades of Mathematics. The method used to develop the MIKiR-based active learning scenario is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study instruments used in this study were: validation sheets to measure product feasibility, and teacher response questionnaires to see the practicality of the product. The results obtained are as follows, for the level of validity of the MIKiR-based active learning scenario, the average score is 3.67 with a very  valid category consisting of three aspects, namely content, material, form, presentation, language, and legibility. Furthermore, the level of practicality obtained a very practical category with an average value of 84.76%. This can be seen from four aspects, namely the attractiveness of the device to student interest, ease of use and content, increased student activity, and time efficiency.

Abstract

In order to maximize the learning interest capacity of class VIII MTSS Al-Washliyah Tembung pupils for the 2023–2024 academic year, this research attempts to deepen the mathematics learning assessment technique utilizing Wordwall on flat-sided geometric material. Students might find the evaluation process more engaging and enjoyable when technology-based assessment formats like Wordwall are used. Using the ADDIE model approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and assessment), a development study was employed as the research technique to create a Wordwall-based mathematics learning assessment. Observation, surveys, interviews, and documentation are some of the techniques used to collect data. Techniques for analyzing data include validity, usefulness, and effectiveness analysis. The project yielded a Wordwall-based evaluation product for mathematics learning on flat-sided geometric material. Four validators gave this product an average score of 93%, which was used to declare it legitimate. This product received an 88% practicality grade after being provided practically by practitioners. The N-gain test scored 0.66 in the medium group based on the outcomes of the Wordwall-based learning assessment test. In summary, the assessment of Wordwall-based mathematics instruction using flat-sided geometric materials for MTSS Al-Washliyah Tembung's class VIII.

Abstract

LKPD (Student Worksheet) based on discovery learning  is intended to provide learning knowledge directly in the process of meaningful learning activities so as to direct students to find learning concepts. This study aims to determine the level of feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of LKPD based  on Discovery Learning to train students' critical thinking skills on respiratory system material. Researchers used the R&D (Research and Development) method  using a 4-D development model (Define, Design, Development and Desemminate) developed by S. Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel in 1974. The test subjects in the study consisted of 36 students from class XI IPA SMA PAB 4 Sampali. The results showed that the feasibility value of developing LKPD from material experts was 86.1% with the very feasible category and LKPD experts by 75% with the feasible category. Then the percentage of practical scores for LKPD development from biology teachers and students of science XI was 82.14% and 83.47% respectively with the practical category. The effectiveness of LKPD development based on individual completeness from  the pre-test  and post-test students obtained an average N-Gain  score of 62.14, so the use of the method has been effective because the N-Gain normality value obtained between 0.30 < g < 0.70 with the "effective" criterion. Then for the N-Gain score value of 0.62, this value is in the medium category because the N-Gain score is between 0.3-07 with the category "medium N-Gain". From the overall results including valid, practical and effective categories, it can be concluded that LKPD based  on Discovery Learning on the equipment system material is suitable for use and distribution to PAB 4 Sampali High School.
